It was quiet in the store. Well it's always quiet, but it was a different kind of quiet the kind that just seems boring, which was odd because I almost always find my job interesting and entertaining. I was fidgeting with the dark green guitar pick that Axel had given me about two weeks ago.
Today would be the perfect day for Axel to show up for a guitar battle, and just like that he walked in. Speak of the devil. "Hi Axel!" I said, and holy crap. Something about him today seemed spicial. I mean, he was always cool and good looking, but something was different today. His dark hair fell perfectly into place and his clothes looked irisistably comfortable. "Miss me?" Axel said with a smirk on his face. I roll my eyes trying to hide the butterflies in my stoumache. "No. Not even a little." I say with a giggle. "So, about that guitar battle." he says still smirking. "That's right. ok sure, the guitar is back here behind the counter."

I pull over another stool for Axel, quickly tune the old acustic guitar, and feel the butterflies rise in my body. I give the guitar to Axel first with the green guitar pick he gave me. He plays Moneytalkes by AC/DC flawlessly. "Wow." I say when he's done playing. "Now it's your turn." he said, passing me the guitar. I play it safe by playing I Love Rock n' Roll. It's simple, but the solo sounds harder than it acctualy is. "So it is true. You do play guitar." I chuckle and I feel like I'm flying.
