Chapter 2: Jules

I spent days thinking about Axel. Should I text him? Or should I wait so he doesn't think I'm desperate? A week after he had been in the store and had left while saying "Well, I'll see you around!" I was wondering if i was ever going to see him again when he walked through the door. "Hi Jules!" he said. Wait he actually remembered my name? "Got any good recomendations today?" "Well any U2, AC/DC, or Joan Jett related is always good." I said, again being extra welcoming and happy.

"Thanks! You're always so helpful!" Wait, I forgot to message or call Axel. I added him to my contacts but I never got in touch with him. I hope he forgot about it, but if he asks I will just tell him that I didn't relize his number was on the reicept and I just threw it out. I hope he doesn't ask. He grabed a AC/DC album, and brought it to the counter. It was Back In Black.

"Solid choice. One of my faverite song to play on my guitar, but it sounds so much better with a distortion pedal." I said. "That's right!" Axel said "You play guitar too! you know I'll have to hear you play sometime to make sure you aren't just lying." He then slid a dark green guitar pick across the counter. "For the next time I see you. To make sure you actually play guitar." "Ok, sure. we keep an old guitar in the store so that will work." I said. "Anyways, I should get going. Bye, see you soon!" he said as he walked out the door. I looked at the recipt to check if he had written his number again. The back of the reciept was blank, and I felt a prick of dissipointment.
