The towering skyscrapers, the lively streets filled with Crystal Brawlers, and the neon lights that flickered in the evening air painted a picture of a modern world teeming with excitement and mystery. But not all was peaceful in this bustling city. Hidden in the shadows, there were threats—some from enemies known, and others from the unexpected.
Kouchu Misako, his new friend Shauna Genga, and Roaracryst had just barely started to get used to the chaos of the city when something peculiar caught their attention.

Kouchu, Shauna, and Roaracryst were walking down the street, heading to the local CrystalMart. Kouchu’s stomach growled loudly, reminding him that it was time for a well-deserved snack. His eyes locked on the glass doors of the market, and he grinned.
Kouchu (rubbing his hands together):
“Finally! I’ve been waiting all day for some real food!”
Shauna (smirking):
“Didn’t you just eat a whole bunch of snacks earlier? You’re gonna turn into a snack yourself.”
Kouchu ignored her, pushing open the door to the bustling market. Inside, shelves lined with Crystal Monster treats, energy drinks, and various Brawler supplies caught his attention. But as he browsed, something unusual happened.
From behind a shelf, a small, sneaky figure darted out, snatching a few bags of food with incredible speed. Kouchu’s eyes widened as he spotted the culprit—a fiery, flame-patterned Crystal Monster with sharp, glinting eyes. It was a Ninecoat.
Kouchu (eyes wide):

Ninecoat, with a sly grin, zipped past them, dodging every attempt to catch him. His agility was unmatched. Kouchu and Roaracryst chased him down the aisles, but the nimble creature was too quick, weaving in and out of the shelves, leaving nothing but a trail of stolen snacks in his wake.
Kouchu (panting):
“This is impossible! He’s too fast for us!”
Shauna (crossing her arms):
“Just let him go, Kouchu. He’s not hurting anyone, he’s just a little thief. Besides, we have bigger problems to worry about.”
Kouchu stopped in his tracks, realizing she was right. Ninecoat was too fast, and trying to catch him was pointless. They had more pressing matters to attend to. With a reluctant sigh, Kouchu watched as the sneaky Ninecoat disappeared into the crowd.

A uniformed officer spotted them and walked over.

“Do you kids know anything about the robbery that just happened here? The Menace Five have been causing trouble again.”

Shauna (grimly):
“Menace Five? Again?”
The officer nodded.
Officer:
“Yeah, they’ve taken over one of the shops in the mall. They’ve got the cashier hostage, demanding money. The place is locked down, and we need help.”
Kouchu clenched his fists, determination filling him.
Kouchu (firmly):
“We can’t let them get away with this.”
Shauna (nodding):
“We’ll help you. Let’s go.”
With the officer’s approval, they rushed into the building, Roaracryst and Mouselette ready for whatever was ahead. Inside, the Menace Five were indeed causing chaos, with Julia Denoku barking orders at the frightened cashier.
Julia Denoku (shouting):
“Give us all your money, or else we’ll wreck this place!”
Kouchu and Shauna exchanged a quick look before diving into action.
Kouchu (yelling):
“Not so fast, Julia!”
Julia turned, smirking when she saw Kouchu and Shauna.
Julia Denoku (mockingly):
“Look who it is—our favorite little nuisance. You’re too late. This place is ours now!”
Kathern Honika (sneering):
“Out of the way, kids. We’ve got business to handle.”
Before they could move any closer, Roaracryst and Mouselette charged, protecting Kouchu and Shauna from any further attack. The Menace Five was taken aback by their swift counterattack.
Roaracryst (enthusiastically):
“Not so fast! We’re taking back what’s ours!”
Mouselette (determined):
“I won’t let you hurt anyone!”
The battle raged on inside the CrystalMart, with the Menace Five struggling against the combined forces of the Crystal Monsters and their Brawlers. But just as things seemed to be turning in their favor, a familiar face reappeared.

Just as the Menace Five was starting to overpower Kouchu and his friends, a familiar, fiery blur zipped past. Ninecoat, who had been watching from the shadows, charged into the fray, his flames flaring brightly.

“You’re not getting away with this, Menace Five!”
Ninecoat jumped into the fight with an impressive display of speed and flame-based attacks, knocking back the Menace Five members one by one. The heat from his flames pushed the villains back, making them hesitate for the first time.
Shauna (surprised):
“Wait, that’s Ninecoat! He came back to help us?”
Kouchu (grinning):
“I knew he wasn’t all bad!”
With Ninecoat now fully on their side, the Menace Five was forced to retreat, recognizing they couldn’t win against the combined power of Kouchu, Shauna, their Crystal Monsters, and the unexpected ally.
Julia Denoku (snarling as she retreated):
“You’ll regret this, Kouchu!”
As they fled, Kouchu turned to look at Ninecoat, who stood proudly amidst the wreckage of the store, his flames still flickering.
Kouchu (grinning):
“Well, looks like we’ve got a new friend.”
Ninecoat, though still a bit wary, looked at Kouchu and Shauna, nodding with a small but genuine smile.
Ninecoat (grinning):
“Guess I owe you one. I may be a thief, but I’m no monster. You can count on me if you ever need help again.”
Shauna (raising an eyebrow):
“So, you’re joining us now, huh? You sure you’re not going to steal my snacks when I’m not looking?”
Ninecoat snickered, his fiery tail flicking behind him.
Ninecoat:
“I’ll behave. I’ve learned my lesson.”
Kouchu laughed and clapped Ninecoat on the back.
Kouchu (excitedly):
“Alright! Another new teammate! We’re going to be unstoppable!”
As the group left CrystalMart, now with Ninecoat in tow, they knew the journey ahead would be full of surprises. But with new allies and their bonds growing stronger, they were ready for whatever challenge came their way.
