Charles has spent most of his life secretly hunting puzzle-like monsters called Enigmas that only he and his service dog Mitzey can see. After his college graduation, Charles has an encounter with a strange Enigma that attaches itself to his shadow. Charles must figure out how to solve the Enigma before it manages to consume him entirely, all while he adjusts to living in a strange little Colorado town called Liminality.
