Chapter 91: A Moment of Peace - Lakeside Leisure

Chapter 91: A Moment of Peace - Lakeside Leisure

The Isekai world had been through countless battles, but for the first time in a long while, there was peace. Issei and his oppai nakama found themselves on a tranquil lakeside, surrounded by a calm breeze and the gentle rustling of trees. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the water, and it felt like a perfect moment to just relax.

Rias and Akeno were lounging near the water, their laughter filling the air as they tossed small pebbles into the lake, creating ripples that shimmered in the sunlight. “I can’t believe we’re actually getting a break,” Rias said, resting on her side.

Akeno giggled, looking over at Issei. “I think someone looks too comfortable. You’re always up to something, Issei.”

Issei, reclining on a nearby rock with a goofy grin, chuckled. “Hey, I’m just enjoying the peace. I’ve earned it, don’t you think?”

The Nakama was spread out across the area, each finding their own way to unwind. Zoro was napping under a tree, Gray had a book in hand, and Nami was organizing their supplies for the journey ahead. “I’m just glad we don’t have to fight today,” Hawk said as he and Ryan fished by the edge of the lake. “Who knew you’d be so good at fishing, Ryan?”

Ryan looked up with a smirk. “I have my moments.” He held up a large fish. “Dinner’s served!”

The group gathered around a campfire, enjoying the warmth of the flames and the satisfaction of their successful day. “Not bad, not bad at all,” Nami commented as she plucked a piece of fish from Ryan’s plate.

As the night grew darker, the atmosphere lightened even more. Gray stood up and cracked his knuckles. “Alright, who’s up for a sparring match? I’ve been itching to fight!”

Issei, ever the competitive one, stood up instantly. “You know I’m down, Gray. But you better be ready to lose.”

As they exchanged playful banter, Zoro joined in. “Don’t forget me, guys. I’ll show you both how it’s done.”

Hawk snorted. “You’re all crazy. But alright, I’ll join in too.”

The night passed in laughter and sparring, each member enjoying the simple pleasures of companionship. But even in these moments of calm, they all knew that danger still lurked in the shadows. The peace they had now would not last forever, and soon, they would have to face greater challenges.
