Chapter 1: The first meeting of the two.

  3rd person POV.

  Currently in a lavish room, on top of a king-sized bed. A cute jet-black cat was meowing at a cute pure-white cat with black ears in an annoyed mood.

  1st person POV.

  “Me.. ” (Hey, wa… )

  “Meo.. ” (Hey, wake… )

  “Meow! ” (Hey! Wake up! )

  As I heard the voice for the third time, I suddenly felt a soft paw connect with my cheek before a resounding clap! Sounded and I felt pain jolt through me from my cheek causing me to jump in surprise and pain.

  “Hiss!! ” (What the hell, who just slapped me! )

  As I angrily looked around my surroundings trying to find the culprit, I found a jet-black cat staring at me in annoyance and disdain. Both me and the black cat who I instinctively recognize as a female cat are currently sitting on top of a luxurious king-sized bed made of extremely soft but resilient materials. And the lavish room which I remember seeing last time also appeared to be real, meaning that I have truly become a cat somehow.

  Remembering that detail my mood immediately deflated and my anger vanished. At that time the black cat suddenly spoke to me after watching me for a while.

  “Purr, meow meow ” (I am not an enemy so Stop freaking out idiot, though seriously how were you sleeping in this situation. )

  “Meow!? ” (What the hell, how can I understand your meowing!? )

  “Meow” (C'mon seriously you just now noticed it. )

  “Meow… ” (Whatever can you just tell me what's going on. )

  “Purr, meow meow meeeow meow. ” (Okay, from what I have observed thus far it looks like we died on Earth, and due to the timing of our deaths being in sync with the start of some kind of multiversal game we were reincarnated as cats or more accurately according to this system which I am not quite trustful of just yet we have become one of the 13 Zodiacs, the Zodiac of Gemini. )

  Wow, to think that so much happened while I was out, I need to get my act together as it's so unlike me to not notice my situation. Wait a sec though what does she mean by the weird system?

  “Meow?.. ” (Hey, which weird system are you talking about? I don't understand what you mean by that. )

  “Meow!? ” (Oh! Haven't you noticed a weird blue screen in your field of vision, continuously following wherever you look?)

  Huh? What the hell is she talking about… wait is she talking about those systems that appear in the Isekai novels which I used to read. Then perhaps that will work.

  “Meow! ” (Status open)

  “Meow! ” (It worked! So cool, let's check these titles out. )

  “Meow! ” (Wow! These titles sound so amazing. )

  Just as I was satisfying my inner fantasy-loving soul, the black cat interrupted me and started speaking again in an extremely annoyed mood.

  “Meow! Meow meow. ” (Hey! Stop gawking at your status and instead take a look in the quest tab, and most importantly do not have any manners, it's basic manners to introduce ourselves to each other. )

  Oh! Right, we both haven't introduced ourselves at all and I have just been calling her a black cat.

  “Purr… meow. ” (I'm sorry, I had completely forgotten to do that pardon my rude behavior, I am Daniel and you are. )

  “Meow. ” (Hmm, fine I forgive you also my name is Jane it's nice to meet you, Daniel. )

  “Meow! ” (Same! Nice to meet you as well Jane. )
