Chapter 98: Death Valley 4

Chapter 98: Death Valley 4 (End of Volume 2)

Wan Jie Jing Hou held Wen Bai Yu and quickly walked forward, they had walked very far before Wan Jie Jing Hou put Wen Bai Yu down. By this time, Wen Bai Yu was starting to wake up from his coma, but even slight movements made him break out in a cold sweat, he was so weak that he couldn't catch his breath, his breathing was rapid and shallow, if he didn't take deep breaths, he felt like he would suffocate.

Wen Baiyu opened her eyes to see Wan Kuang Jing Hou, and suddenly felt a wave of comfort, severe dizziness, looked around, still in the tomb passage.

The path to the tomb was not narrow, and everyone was piled up on the path. Wan Qi Jing Hou saw that Wen Bai Yu's abdomen had a wound, which was still bleeding continuously because his body was weak and the wound healed slowly. Just now when everyone slid down the passage, all the backpacks were lost, and there was no hemostatic medicine at all.

Wan Qi Jing Hou covered his palm over his abdomen, his palm still bleeding, the fresh blood just smeared on Wen Bai Yu's body. Wen Bai Yu took two deep breaths, seeming to calm down a bit, and quickly stopped the bleeding, but the lost blood couldn't be recovered. Wen Bai Yu was still in a severe anemia stage, feeling dizzy and having slow reactions.

Everyone gathered together and told what had just happened on both sides. Jiǔ Mìng was shocked and said, "This person's scheme is deep enough, what does he want to do?"

Wen Baiyu couldn't figure out what that person was trying to do, and he had even taken away Guan Nan. Moreover, the strange building actually led to this tomb, what connection did it have?

Everyone looked at Zou Chengyi, and Jiuming said: "Isn't this your tomb? What are you doing here?"

Zou Chengyi let out a wry smile and said, "Why is this my tomb? Think back carefully, where was I found the first time you came to this tomb?"

Wen Baiyu thought for a moment, as this was something that happened a long time ago. At the time, they had come to find Wan Qi Jinghou, but he hadn't arrived. The ones who came were Wen Baiyu, Yu Wei Yang, Shi Xu, Tao Tie, E Beast, and also Zi Che and Xue Bai. Now, among those who saw Zou Chengyi's tomb, only Wen Baiyu is left.

Wen Baiyu thought for a moment, due to severe anemia, his brain was not getting enough blood supply, and he felt somewhat listless and slow-witted. He racked his brains for about five or six seconds before he finally remembered, and couldn't help but exclaim "Ah!"

  "What's wrong?"

Wen Baiyu opened her big eyes and said, "Last time we came, we didn't see the main tomb chamber. Zou Chengyi wasn't in the main tomb chamber, but in a small burial chamber."

Many people were surprised, and the small tomb chamber was accompanied/buried, which indicates that Zou Chengyi is not the tomb owner.

Zou Cheng nodded slightly and said: "And I'm not a rice dumpling either, I'm still alive."

Jiǔ Mìng scratched his head and said, "What's going on here?"

Zou Chengyi said: "To be honest with you, I was caught to accompany/bury. After being caught, I was sealed in that coffin all the time. Wen Baiyu came here last time and accidentally let me out."

"Wen Baiyu said: 'Who caught you?'"

Zou Cheng shook his head and said, "I don't know, and I have a question. The tomb chamber here looks like it's been around for a long time. The burial objects were not prepared when the tomb owner was buried, but rather after the tomb owner had slept for hundreds or even thousands of years. This doesn't make sense. I also don't understand why people are being caught to be buried with him."

Wan Xi Jing Hou frowned and said, "It's a corpse-raising. Perhaps the previous burial has lost its value, so they are forced to find another burial."

As soon as he said this, everyone felt a chill down their spine. What kind of tomb was this that needed to raise corpses? It seemed that if Wen Baiyu hadn't released Zou Chengyi back then, Zou Chengyi would probably have been sucked dry by now.

Wen Baiyu took two deep breaths and looked at Zou Chengyi, saying: "Can you tell me what's going on with Yi Feng?"

Zou Chengyi's face was somewhat unnatural when he mentioned the typhoon, and he said, "I lied to you before."

Zou Chengyi is not actually Zou Chengyi, it's just a name he borrowed. Previously, Zou Chengyi said that Yi Feng was the seal on his father's coffin, because he was lonely, he pinched it into a mud doll, and later this mud doll came to life, which is Yi Feng.

However, what Zou Chengyi said was half true and half false.

Zou Chengyi said: "The seal on the coffin is not who someone's father is, it's just the seal on the coffin you opened."

  "Is it really your coffin?"

Zou Cheng nodded and said, "When I was buried as a sacrifice, I was still alive. I don't remember how long I lay inside, several years maybe. That coffin had some problem, I was locked in for several years, but I didn't starve to death or die of thirst... In that confined space, I don't know if you can imagine the feeling of being trapped inside. On one hand, it was loneliness, on the other hand, I also thought about breaking out. You know, using my spiritual power would consume my own life. At that time, my legs were completely crippled. I was extremely frightened and became a cripple, hiding in the coffin, what else could I do? I used the sealing mud on the coffin to create a person and infused him with my spiritual power. Originally, I wanted him to replace my legs..."

The seal on the coffin is suspicious, and this coffin, as well as the tomb itself, seems to be off from head to toe.

Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "We fell from the other side and met a lot of zongzi on the road, the things in this tomb are very fierce."

Wen Baiyu looked around the tomb passage, which was very dark. Their flashlights were also broken, and when Wen Baiyu and his group came to this tomb last time, they didn't walk through all of it. They only saw the burial chamber where Zou Chengyi was locked in, but they didn't see the other chambers. Then they slid down along the cliff and crawled out of the cave, which led directly to the interior of Kunlun Mountain.

And from another iron gate out, is the outside of Kunlun Mountain.

Wen Baiyu said: "Now the most important thing is to find Guan Nan, and then we'll get out of here."

The little blood marrow flower climbed up from the ground, stretched out a lot of vines on its back, and swung them wildly, shouting "ah ah" in its mouth, then pointed to the depths of the tomb path.

Wen Bai Yu said in surprise: "Do you know where we are?"

The little blood vine flower shook its own tendrils and pointed at its own nose with sharp fingernails.

Wen Baiyu was slightly surprised, did Xiaoxue Hua mean that she could smell it herself?

Blood marrow said: "The young kind of blood marrow is very sensitive to smells."

Everyone immediately saw a glimmer of hope and looked excitedly at Xiaoxue Hua.

"Wen Baiyu said: 'Then let's go.'"

Wan Xi Jing Hou said: "Is your body okay? I'll hold you?"

Wen Baiyu initially thought he was fine, after all, he had rested for a while and the bleeding had stopped. However, later on, he felt that he had overestimated himself. He didn't feel okay because his anemia had been replenished, but rather because his brain had slightly adapted to the anemia. Once he started moving around, his brain became oxygen-starved due to the anemia, and he began to feel short of breath and dizzy. Wen Baiyu was somewhat unable to handle it.

Wan Kuang Jing Hou picked him up with one hand and held him horizontally in his arms, saying: "Good boy, take a rest."

Wen Baiyu leaned against General Wan's chest, his head spinning and his brain swelling. He closed his eyes wearily, and the others, seeing how pale he looked, lightened their footsteps. It was still best to let him rest for a while longer.

Just then, Wen Baiyu suddenly opened her eyes and said, "Wait a minute."

Jiǔ Mìng walked over and said: "Master, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Wen Baiyu waved her hand and said, "It seems like there's a sound?"

Jiuming thought that Wen Baiyu's tinnitus was caused by anemia, but Wan Kuangjinghou's face suddenly changed and he said: "Be on guard."

Everyone immediately tensed up, and the little Blood Orchid suddenly jumped twice on the ground. Then, a black shadow suddenly pounced out and rushed towards Little Blood Orchid's body.

Blood marrow's eyes narrowed, the vines behind him suddenly rolled up, Blood Marrow's vines were much thicker and stronger than those of the young kind, and they were rolled out violently, directly wrapping up the black shadow, while also pulling Little Blood Marrow to his front.

The little blood marrow flower didn't know the danger, sitting on the blood marrow vine, still clapping hands happily, watching the dumplings being rolled up high by the vines, and laughing "haha" loudly.

Wen Baiyu let out a sigh of relief, the small blood marrow flower was so tiny that if it were to be pounced on by a rice dumpling, it would either be crushed or swallowed in one gulp. But unfortunately, the small blood marrow flower was a mischievous troublemaker who thought it was fun to watch others fight and would surely become even more formidable when it grew up.

That zongzi was tied up with blood-stained vines, and it didn't fall to the ground. It struggled hard, its skin scraped off, looking like a low-quality product. It kept roaring loudly, and on its neck were inserted rows of blue needles, which looked dense and terrifying.

The blood jade wrapped around the zongzi, and suddenly saw the small blood jade flower jump down from its own vine, still quite agile, "swish swish swish" a few times, directly jumping down, then "da da da" along the tomb path running inside.

As soon as everyone saw him, they rushed to catch up. Jiǔ Mìng said: "He's simply a little ancestor, running quite fast. It's so dark here, if we lose him, it'll be terrible."

Dong Hai elbowed Jiu Ming, telling him to shut his crow mouth. Guan Nan was already gone. If Xiao Xue Mu Hua were to get lost again, Blood Jade would probably go berserk.

Everyone chased after him in one direction, Xiaoxue ran exceptionally fast, and in the dark tomb passage, he jumped forward with a thud, and saw some faint light ahead.

  "Dragon Bright Lamp?"

As they ran, Xiaoxiao suddenly stopped running, then turned around and ran back. With a "pa" sound, she jumped onto Xiaomeng's body, hugged his fingers, looked back at him, and shouted "Aaah".

Everyone sees Xiao Xue's reaction and thinks there must be something going on beforehand.

Everyone walked cautiously forward, and the farther they went, the brighter the lights became. It seemed that there were many lanterns ahead, and the decorations on both sides of the tomb passage were extremely delicate.

Wen Baiyu looked at the decorations on both sides and vaguely felt that the front might be the main tomb chamber that she had not reached before.

Wen Baiyu felt a bit nervous in her heart and patted Wan Jingshou on the back, saying: "Put me down."

Wan Jixiang was a bit worried, and Wen Baiyu said: "What if there's something inside."

Wan Jie Jing Hou carefully put down Wen Bai Yu, who had just landed on both legs and suddenly felt a bit weak, almost falling over. Wan Jie Jing Hou quickly wrapped his arms around him, and Wen Bai Yu hastily said: "It's nothing, I'm fine, my legs are just a bit soft."

He said, supporting Wan Jiahao up and getting him to stand, trying to walk a few steps, feeling already adapted, the crowd only then had a way to go forward.

As I walked further forward, the light of the Longming lamp was already very bright and could faintly illuminate the entire tomb passage. On the wall of the tomb passage, there was a black shadow that kept swaying back and forth, which was reflected from inside the tomb chamber.

Wen Bai Yu stared at the black shadow in surprise, it wasn't a person. Looking at its shape, it seemed more like a tree?!

Is there a tree in the tomb?

As they walked a few more steps forward, they had already reached the end. On the right-hand side, a huge tomb appeared.

The gate of the tomb is open, and it turns out that there are two gates, which are well preserved.

Wan Kuang Jing Hou stretched out his hand and touched the wooden door, saying: "Bodhi tree."

Using Bodhi wood for tomb doors is still an unheard-of thing.

As the crowd entered the tomb, they were suddenly surprised to see that the burial chamber was enormous. The walls were lined with long-lasting lamps, and a Bodhi tree grew right in the center of the room. The roots of the Bodhi tree were extremely complex, and something black and shiny was wrapped around the massive roots.

  Is coffin material...

A coffin/wood is hidden in the trunk of a giant Bodhi tree, with half of the coffin/wood embedded in the trunk and the other half protruding out. On the surface of the coffin/wood facing them, a golden cicada is carved in relief. The coffin/wood is made of wood, and the golden cicada is wrapped in gold, shining brightly without any signs of corrosion. Under the dim light of the long-lasting lamp, the eyes and wings of the golden cicada appear vividly lifelike, giving off an eerie aura.

The tomb is very empty, except for a giant Bodhi tree, an unadorned coffin, and nothing else. There are no burial objects or offerings.

Everyone walked past, somewhat surprised to see a coffin for the first time. The coffin seemed strange, with golden cicadas carved on it that looked like they were alive, vividly making people's backs feel numb.

Wan Qi Jinghou walked around the giant Bodhi tree, this tree didn't have any problem, and Bodhi has a strong humanistic background, symbolizing enlightenment and wisdom. Xuanzang's Buddhist scriptures recorded this kind of tree: "The Bodhi tree is also known as the Pipal tree, in the past when Buddha was alive, it was hundreds of feet tall, after being pruned many times, it still stood at 40-50 meters high, Buddha sat under it and achieved enlightenment..."

However, no one has ever seen a Bodhi tree growing in a tomb. After all, the Bodhi tree is a tall deciduous tree that loves light, high temperatures and humidity, while tombs are filled with yin energy, not to mention the cold temperatures of Mount Kunlun.

Jiuming looked at the coffin and said, "Shall we open it and take a look?"

Everyone looked at each other, they are now aimlessly searching for Guan Nan, without a clear goal, and cannot let go of any opportunity.

Wen Baiyu nodded and said: "Open."

Because they didn't have the tools to open the coffin, everything had to be done manually.

Wan Xi Jing Hou carefully examined the coffin, which was inlaid with Bodhi wood. To open it, he had to pull the coffin out of the Bodhi wood first.

Jiuming rolled up his sleeves and said, "Then let's pull together."

Wan Kuang Jing Hou suddenly raised his hand and said, "No need."

He said, stretching out his hand to grasp the coffin and gently pulling it outward...

All of a sudden, there was the sound of "creaking creaking creaking......" and under the coffin, there were actually wheels! Wan Kuang Jing Hou didn't even use any strength, and directly pulled the coffin out from the tree hole.

Everyone was stunned, Wen Baiyu's back seemed to have crawled with insects, and he said: "Are there wheels under the coffin? Why do I think this is like a mortuary design?"

As soon as he spoke, others felt like there were bugs crawling on their backs and suddenly got goosebumps all over.

Wan Qi Jing Hou pulled out the coffin with ease, then took out a dragon-scale chisel and inserted it into the coffin with a "click". He lightly rotated it around the seam of the coffin, and immediately furrowed his brow.

  "What's wrong?" said Wen Baiyu.

Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "The coffin has not been sealed yet."

He said, the blade slightly used force, and with one swipe, the coffin lid was pried open. At the same time, he stretched out his hand to push it, and heard a "rumbling" sound, the coffin lid was easily pushed open.

The crowd stretched their necks out eagerly to take a look and immediately let out a collective "Wow!"

  "Empty!?"

Tang Ziyu originally thought that the first time he saw a coffin, there would be something inside, so he made a lot of mental preparations and his palms were sweating. As a result, when he took a peek, it was empty, and he let out a sigh of relief.

But he turned his head and saw that everyone's gaze was very serious, and carefully said: "What's wrong?"

The Crown Prince said: "An empty coffin is very likely a case of zongzi resurrection."

Wen Baiyu thought of what Wan Qi Jinghou said earlier about raising corpses. If it was indeed a raised corpse, then the tomb owner's disappearance would mean that it had already been successfully raised; otherwise, it would be impossible for it to get out of the coffin.

  "What should we do now?"

He was speaking when Dong Hai suddenly said: "Be careful!"

Everyone immediately became vigilant and quickly retreated backwards. Wen Baiyu, due to blood loss reaction, was a bit slow, and Wan Jingshou grabbed his arm, pulling him into his embrace. Wen Baiyu then saw something falling from above his head, specifically from the Bodhi tree, and with a "clatter" sound, it fell into the coffin.

Everyone was on high alert for a while, but nothing happened except that thing fell down. The Bodhi tree had lush branches and leaves, but if someone or a zongzi were hidden there, they would definitely be discovered by everyone.

The tomb was quiet and still, with no sound at all.

Wen Baiyu looked into the coffin and saw that something had appeared inside, which was the thing that had just fallen from the tree.

Wen Baiyu carefully looked at the thing in her hand and said, "A pearl?"

Wan Qi Jing Hou also took a look, and then stretched out his hand to use the dragon scale spoon to pick it up. He picked up the bead from the coffin board, and under the light of the Longming lamp, he said: "This is a golden cicada Bodhi seed, a kind of star and moon Bodhi seed. The surface is full of black spots, the middle part is slightly concave, like the stars holding the moon, the shape is similar to that of the golden cicada, used for making Buddhist beads."

Wen Baiyu was somewhat perplexed as to why a string of Buddhist beads had suddenly fallen from the tree, and they were clearly scattered.

Wen Baiyu turned her head to look at the coffin, on which there was a golden cicada. The fallen bead was also called a golden cicada child, and she didn't know what it symbolized.

In ancient China, cicadas have many symbolic meanings, most of which are products after Buddhism was introduced to China. For example, Tang Sanzang in Journey to the West is a reincarnation of a cicada. However, many poets and scholars in ancient times had another interpretation of cicadas due to their small but strong bodies, their sounds in summer and death in autumn, and even their high-pitched calls.

Everyone lingered in the tomb for a while, but no trace of Guan Nan was found. However, the small blood lotus flower led them to this place, and it's possible that Guan Nan had stayed here for some time. But now, this place is empty, with nothing at all.

The crowd left the tomb and returned by the same route, continuing on another path at the fork in the road.

The tomb was surprisingly large, and after walking for a while, they discovered three more passageways.

Everyone was momentarily stunned, and they didn't know which direction to go. They had already walked such a long distance, but Wen Baiyu was still unfamiliar with the terrain here, indicating that they were still far from the exit.

Jiǔ Mìng said: "Where is he going?"

Wen Baiyu looked at the three paths and said, "Let's go one by one. First, let's take the leftmost path."

He said, pointing to the path on the left.

Everyone had no objection, after all, they didn't know which road was correct either, so they just followed the leftmost one in.

Just a few steps later, the crowd smelled a foul smell, followed by a "whooshing" sound of wind, as if something was running towards them, and it was a big wave of things.

Then, from the depths of the tomb passage, a large group of zombies emerged from the darkness. These zombies all looked like Zou Cheng, with blue light on the back of their necks, and they rushed out of the tomb passage in a frenzy, biting and pouncing on anyone they saw.

Wan Xi Jing Hou's dragon-scale dagger suddenly slipped out of his hand, instantly knocking over several zongzi that were pouncing on him. He then kicked one of the zongzi flying with a swift kick and stretched out his hand to block Wen Bai Yu, saying: "Fall back, fall back."

The zongzi in front of him came flying like a tide, Tang Ziyu retreated several steps, colliding with the tomb wall, his body tilted and was about to fall. Although he had learned some defensive moves, they were useless in this place. The zongzi frantically pounced on him, their mouths full of corpse stench, the deafening roar making people's hearts panic.

The moment Táng Zǐ Jué fell, the Crown Prince immediately rushed over from the side, grabbed Táng Zǐ Jué's arm with one hand and used his back to block for him. Just then, a ripping sound was heard, and it seemed that the glutinous rice ball had scratched the Crown Prince's back. However, he didn't frown, as if he didn't feel any pain. He pulled Táng Zǐ Jué backward and said: "Let's go."

The trident of the East Sea was also brought out, but there were too many zongzi here, and it was really like an assembly line, with zongzi flying over continuously.

The fire essence in Wan Xi Jing Hou's hand suddenly lit up, igniting a raging inferno. However, the zongzi had already gone completely mad, just like moths flying into flames, utterly unafraid of the fire essence. One after another, they plunged into the blaze, with those in front being replaced by those behind them in an instant.

Dong Hai said: "This won't do, first retreat to a safe distance."

Everyone felt that it was not a good idea, and they could only retreat one after another. Those zongzi slowly chased forward until they completely exited the leftmost tomb path and retreated to the middle tomb path.

Those dumplings suddenly stopped chasing them, standing at the far left of the tomb path, making a "heh heh" roar/sound, coarsely staring at them, but none of them caught up.

Everyone stayed in the middle of the tomb passage, panting slightly, covered in blood. Although they didn't have serious injuries, most of the blood was from those dumplings. It was bloody and smelly, making everyone look very disheveled.

Wen Baiyu looked at the zongzi that didn't chase after them with a strange expression. The zongzi just stared at them with crazy eyes, but didn't take any action. A strange feeling rose up in Wen Baiyu's heart, and he said: "Why aren't these zongzi chasing us? Is there something on this path? Or is the mission of these zongzi to correct our route, forcing us to enter the middle path?"

Wen Baiyu said this, and everyone fell silent. The zongzi didn't come after them, apparently not allowing them to take the side path of the tomb. There must be something or a trap in the middle path of the tomb.

"What's to be done? Knowing it's a trap, are you still going to go?"

He was speaking, when suddenly the little blood marrow flower stood up, "ah" cried twice, then excitedly pointed forward, and immediately stepped out with small legs, "dada" rushed forward.

The crowd shouted, but the Demon King of the Mortal World ignored them and ran forward quickly. The crowd had to hurry up to catch up with him, not knowing what else Xiao Xuemu had seen or smelled.

Don't look at the small blood marrow flower, now it's small in size and has been withering recently, but it runs very fast, making a "dada" sound in the tomb path, and the running frequency is still quite high.

Wen Baiyu suddenly saw a black shadow flashing by quickly in the front tomb path, and Zou Chengyi immediately shouted: "It's Yi Feng! It's Yi Feng! Absolutely no mistake!"

Wen Baiyu was slightly surprised and said: "Yi Feng?"

Zou Chengyi said: "This bastard, he's in the tomb, hurry up and chase him."

Everyone rushed forward, but the black shadow ran very fast. With the addition of the dark tomb path, it disappeared in front of them in an instant. The shadow of Yifeng disappeared, and everyone didn't even see clearly, only Zou Cheng saw it clearly, while Xiaoxue continued to run forward.

After running for about ten minutes, Wen Baiyu really couldn't take it anymore. Stars were spinning in front of his eyes, and he felt like vomiting blood. Wan Qi Jing Hou stretched out a hand to support him, letting him lean against himself, and helped him wipe away the remaining hot sweat.

But before Wan Qi Jing Hou could speak, Wen Bai Yu calmed down and looked up, suddenly becoming excited, his eyes shining brightly, saying: "Here! It's here!"

As soon as he spoke, everyone looked over, and the little blood marrow flower didn't run away either. It turned its head around and jumped onto Blood Marrow's arm a few times, rubbing against his arm back and forth while hugging it tightly.

"What's going on here?" said Wan Qi Jing Hou.

Wen Baiyu let Wan Qi Jinghou support herself to hurry up for two steps, and then she saw a huge deep valley in front of her. The cliff was in front of her, and after crossing the deep valley, there was also a cliff on the other side. There was a stone bridge in between, but it was broken.

Wen Baiyu looked down into the deep valley and said, "It's here. Last time I entered the Kunlun Mountains from a cave below, and going further forward is the tomb of Zou Chengyi."

Zou Chengyi was dragged in as an accompaniment to the burial, and he had never seen this tomb before. Except for the coffin that held him captive, Zou Chengyi was a stranger to this place. However, as soon as he said that, Zou Chengyi suddenly felt a sense of familiarity and fear...

Jiuming said: "The bridge is broken, how can we get across?"

  Xuemu said: "This is easy."

As he spoke, the vines behind him suddenly stretched out with a "whoosh", countless thick and large vines rapidly extended, instantly breaking through the cliff wall and wrapping around to the other side, forming a very wide bridge that looked particularly sturdy.

The little blood marrow flower jumped down excitedly, stepped on the vine and jumped up again, and ran to the opposite side along the vine first.

Wen Baiyu saw Xiao Xuemuohua about to disappear and hastily said: "Don't let him get away."

The crowd immediately went after from the back, the rattan bridge woven with vines was very stable, and the crowd walked on it without a single shake, and soon everyone had walked to the other side of the cliff.

Xue Mu used the vines to hook onto the opposite shore, and with a quick flick, he swung himself into the air, using the force of the vines to pull himself across, landing steadily on the ground.

Wen Baiyu recognized this place, they had entered from the bronze gate of a ruined temple at that time, after entering, the sky was round and the ground was flat, and found it was a tomb. Now although they were walking in reverse, he still remembered this path.

This road has no forks, it's easy to walk and you won't get lost at all. There is only one tomb on the way, which is a bit small and looks like an accompanying burial chamber. However, there are many funeral objects piled up inside, with a coffin in the middle, which is the coffin that holds Zou Chengyi.

They walked for a while and soon saw the tomb, which was just as it had been before, with some darkness inside.

Apart from Wen Baiyu, everyone else was visiting this tomb chamber for the first time. The scene inside the tomb chamber was even more shocking than the previous main tomb chamber.

The ground was covered with jewels and jade, various ceramics, and numerous precious burial objects, too many to count. The sight was dazzling, and these burial objects were extremely well-preserved, without a single flaw.

Funeral objects surround the coffin, and there is something else surrounding the side of the coffin.

  That's a dead person...

Many dead people are surrounding the coffin, with white bones, rotten mummies, and unrotten corpses, and the postures of these people look like they all died from suicide.

At first glance, he said strangely: "Are these people crazy? Running here to commit collective suicide?"

Wen Baiyu said: "This tomb is a bit eerie, there was a corpse fragrance here before."

He said to Wan Qi Jing Hou, "The thing that can make people hallucinate, we've seen it in the witch's tomb. These people who killed themselves must have been affected by the corpse fragrance's illusion technique and had hallucinations. When we came to this tomb earlier, we were also affected by the corpse fragrance. If not for this corpse fragrance, I wouldn't have taken Zou Chengyi out of the coffin at that time."

To be on the safe side, they didn't move the coffin at all. Instead, they searched around it first to see if there was any hidden corpse fragrance. If there was, they had to get rid of it as soon as possible. Otherwise, their minds would be bewildered in a little while, and the consequences would be unthinkable.

Everyone searched around but didn't find any corpses.

Zou Chengyi looked at the coffin and said: "Is this coffin closed?"

He said that, and Wen Baiyu suddenly woke up. The coffin was clearly open, otherwise how could Zou Chengyi run out? Just now, she only noticed the corpse fragrance, and seeing a closed coffin made her feel normal, completely forgetting that the coffins here should be open to be normal.

The coffin/lid was closed, indicating that someone had been there after them and had good reason to close it.

Wan Xi Jing Hou looked at the coffin, the black coffin had nothing on it, no inscription, but upon closer inspection, a strange text was engraved on it, similar to a talisman.

Wan Xi Jing Hou frowned and said: "Indeed, it's a burial for a corpse-raising ritual. This coffin is used for refining corpses."

Wen Baiyu said: "Refining corpses? What's the use of that?"

Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "To put it bluntly, it's a coffin-shaped dan furnace that can refine the things inside."

He said, lightly touching the coffin a few times, as if listening carefully, "There is someone inside the coffin."

His hair stood on end as he said, "You're not going to tell me there's a breathing sound, are you?"

Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "The sound of emptiness is not right."

Wan Xi Jing Hou has been down for many years, and he is very sensitive to sounds. The sound of an empty coffin and one with something inside are not the same. He just put his hand on it and felt that the wall of the coffin was not thick, and the sound inside was very muffled, indicating that there must be someone inside, not empty.

Wen Baiyu said: "Pry it open and take a look."

Wan Qi Jing Hou nodded, the dragon scale knife was stuck in the gap between the coffin lid and the coffin, first drew a circle, feeling that the coffin had no seal mud, nor any nails, quickly pried it open, and heard a "click" sound, the coffin lid opened with a creak.

  Rumble... boom...

As soon as the coffin lid was opened, Xue Mu immediately opened his eyes wide and said: "Guan Nan!"

Xue Mu was always calm and collected, but he was extremely anxious about Guan Nan. As soon as the coffin lid opened, Guan Nan lay on the ground with a pale face, and his emotions suddenly burst into rage. He rushed forward to hug Guan Nan out of the coffin.

Wan Kuang Jing Hou suddenly grasped Blood Jade's shoulder and said: "Don't move!"

Xue Mu's eyes turned cold as he looked back at him, wanting to shake off Wan Qi Jing Hou's hand, but Wan Qi Jing Hou furrowed his brow and said: "There are still people under the coffin."

As soon as he said that, everyone took a closer look and suddenly let out a "hiss" of cold air. The scene inside the coffin was really too terrifying.

Guan Nan's face was deathly pale as he lay in the coffin, seemingly injured. The exposed parts of his face and hands were covered with large and small bloodstains. He had no vitality at all, his cheeks sunken, looking extremely haggard.

Under Guan Nan, there seemed to be another person pressed down. That person's skull hands, which emitted a blue glow, were placed on Guan Nan's shoulders from below, as if maintaining the action of grasping Guan Nan's shoulders, pinning him inside the coffin.

Wen Baiyu took a closer look at the hands and couldn't help but gasp, saying: "It's the female corpse from the Mirror Grave, the one who swallowed the Jianmu fragments. Look at her hands."

Those hands and Zou Chengyi's legs had all turned into bones, emitting a faint blue glow. Although the corpse was pressed under Guan Shan's body and couldn't be seen, Wen Baiyu dared to confirm that it must be the female corpse with scaly skin.

The female corpse is also here?

Why should I be buried in the same coffin as Guan Yu?

  Refining...

Wen Baiyu's mind flashed and he suddenly remembered what Wan Qi Jinghou had said earlier. This coffin is equivalent to a dan furnace, which can refine the things inside. The female corpse swallowed the Jianmu fragments, and that person's goal was to collect all the Jianmu fragments. If they were to refine the female corpse, it would also mean refining the Jianmu fragments. What about Guan Sang?

Wen Baiyu thought of the various things that happened when he met Guan Nan, although later they found Guan Nan's body, proving that many of Guan Nan's abnormalities were because he was dead, and died on the Jianmu fragments, possessing a part of the Jianmu fragments' spiritual power.

However, Guan Nai's strange action of suddenly producing canned beef was still unexplained.

Moreover, although Rougan's corpse possessed a fragment of Jianmu, the powerful fragment did not allow her to maintain consciousness, which is somewhat inexplicable.

All these things added up, Wen Baiyu's mind was in a mess, and she felt that something was about to emerge. Wasn't the fragment of Jianmu that the female corpse swallowed also incomplete? And another part was on Guan Shan's body?

Wen Baiyu had some doubts and also had a sudden strange idea, but it was too late to think about these now. Wan Jingshou suddenly said: "Be careful."

Suddenly, the sound of "heh heh" rang out, and the skulls, mummies, and corpses surrounding the coffin suddenly came to life, as if their gates had been triggered. One by one, they quickly crawled up from the ground.

"Finished, it's risen from the dead, so many?!"

Just as he was speaking, the crowd heard a loud "boom!" and the iron gate that originally had no door suddenly fell down, encircling everyone inside the tomb.

The burial chamber itself was not large, and when the door closed, all the corpses on the ground rose up, making the chamber seem even more cramped.

The crowd gathered together, and those zongzi crawled up from the ground, rushing towards them frantically.

Wan Kuang Jing Hou shielded Wen Bai Yu behind him, his hand holding the dragon-scale dagger spinning once, vigilantly watching those resurrected zombies.

Tang Ziyu backed away with Zou Chengyi on his back, and soon he retreated to the side of the iron net. He had no room for retreat. Tang Ziyu saw a shadow in front of him and subconsciously dodged to the side, throwing Zou Chengyi off his back.

Zou Cheng suddenly shrunk his neck, stretched out his hand to cover the back of his head, and was thrown out. After being flung out, he rolled over in frustration, making a "crashing" sound as he scattered a pile of funeral goods before finally coming to a stop.

A dark shadow pounced over, the prince hastily dodged to the side, fiercely grabbed Tang Ziyu from the ground, and immediately pressed her into his arms, rolling on the spot to avoid the corpse's biting.

  "You're hurt!"

Tang Ziyu saw a bloodstain on the crown prince's sleeve and was slightly startled.

The crown prince didn't have time to speak. He fiercely grabbed the iron net at the entrance of the tomb, stretched out his hand and exerted force, and the shaking iron net made a "rustling" sound, but the iron net was incredibly sturdy for some reason.

The crown prince was unable to tear apart the iron net and his hands were immediately scratched by the sharp iron mesh, with some wounds deep enough to see bone.

The tomb was too small, and it was filled with so many zongzi. Wan Qi Jing Hou protected Wen Bai Yu, and Wen Bai Yu also wanted to help, but as soon as he got anxious, his stomach started hurting again, and the pain made him break out in cold sweat. He leaned against the wall of the tomb, feeling somewhat weak, and slowly slid down to the ground, panting heavily.

Wan Kuang's expression was tense as he looked at him and said, "How is it? Can you still hold on?"

Wen Baiyu nodded and said: "There is... a little stomachache, it's okay."

When Wen Baiyu spoke, his face was very pale and he seemed out of breath. What he said did not sound convincing at all.

Wen Baiyu had just finished speaking when he suddenly opened his eyes wide and said: "Zou Chengyi!"

He said, and then saw a zongzi suddenly pounce on Zou Chengyi. After being flung away, Zou Chengyi sat half-reclined in the corner, his forehead bleeding from being hit by the funeral goods, with a large swelling, feeling dizzy. His legs were unable to exert any strength, and he couldn't move at all. As he watched a zongzi pounce over, Zou Chengyi could only grit his teeth, bend his arm, and crawl forward.

But his movements were too slow and he couldn't dodge the zongzi in time.

Wen Baiyu shouted loudly, but Wan Jingshou said calmly: "Don't mind him."

Wen Baiyu was momentarily stunned, just as Zou Chengyi was about to meet his demise, a black figure suddenly appeared behind the rice dumpling and swiftly grabbed its head.

The mummy had completely decomposed, with the skin and flesh shriveled up, the skin presenting a dark purple color, emitting a foul odor.

The black shadow grabbed the dry corpse's head with one hand, its two hands flailing wildly, making "heh heh" sounds, followed by a "crack" sound. The black shadow's five fingers closed in, instantly crushing the dry corpse's skull. Then, it stretched out its hand and flung the dry corpse away with a loud "thud", smashing into a patch of zongzi (glutinous rice dumplings).

That black figure was wearing a long black windbreaker, white shirt, black trousers, and a pair of spotless leather shoes. He stood in front of Zou Chengyi with blood all over his hands, as well as what looked like dried brain matter. He pulled out a tissue from his pocket and carefully wiped his hands clean before crouching down to examine Zou Chengyi's bleeding forehead. "Young Master," he said, "you're injured."

Zou Cheng's breathing suddenly became urgent, his eyes turned red, and his eyes were sour. He stared at the man in front of him, his hands suddenly rose up, grabbed the man's collar, and growled: "Yi Feng! Where did you go? You bastard!"

Yi Feng simply took out a clean handkerchief, helped Zhou Chengyi wipe the blood stains on his forehead, and gently wrapped her arms around Zhou Chengyi's back, saying: "Young Master, I'm here."

Zou Chengyi didn't know what to say, he had many questions in his mind, but at this time he couldn't ask anything, and he also didn't dare to ask. He could only grab onto his collar with both hands, holding on tightly, and repeatedly said: "Yi Feng, you bastard, bastard..."

Zou Chengyi scolded while his lips trembled, as if he was about to cry out in grievance. Yi Feng hastily wrapped his arms around him and took a deep breath at the base of his neck, saying: "Young Master, don't cry, I'm here."

Wen Baiyu didn't expect Yi Feng to appear suddenly, no wonder Wan Kuang Jing Hou said not to worry about it, but how did Wan Kuang Jing Hou know that Yi Feng would appear suddenly?

Wen Bai's stomach was full of questions, just at this time, the dumplings in the tomb suddenly stopped moving.

All I could hear was the sound of "heh heh heh" coming from inside the coffin, and then I heard a rustling sound, and to my surprise, the person inside the coffin actually moved.

Guan Nan was still pale, lying in the coffin without any signs of life. However, the female corpse with scaly skin under him suddenly moved, grabbing Guan Nan's shoulders and slowly sitting up.

Xue Su's eyes narrowed instantly, and a burst of anger erupted from his entire body. "Let him go!" he shouted.

The female corpse just let out a "heh heh heh" laugh, but didn't have any consciousness.

At this moment, a man's voice came from the tomb, his voice was somewhat old and laughed: "Lord Ifeng, you've done well, all the Jianmu fragments are here now, plus the Phoenix Blood, the Jianmu fragments can finally be refined."

As soon as he spoke, everyone immediately looked at Yi Feng, revealing an incredulous gaze.

Wen Baiyu said: "Is it really a strange wind?"

Zou Chengyi suddenly opened his eyes wide and stretched out his hand to push Yi Feng hard, but Yi Feng tightly hugged him without saying a word.

Zou Chengyi's brain buzzed with a loud hum, and he viciously pushed against Yi Feng, but Yi Feng was holding him too tightly. Zou Chengyi bit down on his neck with all his might, the bite not playful at all, and immediately drew blood. He hated that he couldn't take a chunk of Yi Feng's flesh with him.

The wind suddenly stopped, and all that came out of its mouth was a faint "hiss".

Zou Cheng's teeth were aching, his eyes were red and swollen, he finally couldn't hold back tears, his voice was hoarse as he said: "Yi Feng, you bastard, I'd rather raise a dog!"

The wind moved slightly and suddenly let go of his hand, looking at Zou Chengyi and saying: "Young master, I have never betrayed you."

His expression was very serious and stern, but then he heard that voice laugh and say: "Yes, Lord Niflheim is doing all this for your sake."

Zou Chengyi's eyes narrowed, and the voice laughed again: "The adults have worked hard to collect the Jianmu fragments for you, but later found that collecting the Jianmu fragments is not a simple matter. Moreover, Mr. Zou's physical condition has been getting worse and worse, so the adults had no choice but to think of another way..."

That voice said with a somewhat complacent tone, seemingly pleased to know the behind-the-scenes story, continued: "Later on, the master thought of a straightforward method, while continuing to search for the Jianmu fragments, using corpses to create your appearance. If successful, the corpse would not die, would not age, would not get sick, would not fall ill, and its legs would be intact. And you, Mr. Zou, would become a substitute."

Zou Cheng looked at Yi Feng and said lightly: "Those zongzi, were they made by you?"

Yi Feng opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something in defense, but Zou Chengyi immediately asked in a low voice: "Those zongzi, were you the one who made them?"

He took off his glasses and rubbed his temples with his hands, saying: "Yes."

Zou Cheng smiled and said, "You make a fake one just like me, then you won't have to look for the Jianmu fragments anymore? Indeed, it's a good way to get rid of the trouble once and for all. To be honest, you're just tired of me being a cripple, always dragging you down."

"Ah, Master, it's not like that, I..."

Zou Cheng stared at him with a pair of golden eyes, slowly welling up with tears, and said hastily: "Young Master, don't cry, don't cry..."

Zou Chengyi didn't react, his eyes constantly flowing with blood, and a cold aura emanated from his body. Wen Baiyu saw Zou Chengyi's crippled leg start to glow, blue light penetrating through his pants, and it actually transmitted outwards. His bright eyes were abnormal, and at the same time, a pair of golden eyes also started emitting blue light. Soon, the golden light in Longyan's eyes turned into blue ice crystals, and his eyeballs instantly crystallized.

Zou Chengyi's body stumbled, his eyes instantly lost their luster, and he was suddenly blind again, unable to see anything. At the same time, a blue ice crystal was crawling out of his eye socket, and Zou Chengyi's entire body was rapidly turning into an ice crystal.

He let out a startled yelp, and his normally calm face revealed a look of panic as he said, "Young master, please calm down..."

Zou Chengyi didn't say a word, his trembling hands rose up, and both hands were rapidly turning into blue ice crystals, just like the female corpse in the coffin, her pale hands suddenly shed their skin, transforming into blue skulls.

Yi Feng grasped Zhou Chengyi's hand, his entire body seething with rage. With a pair of blue eyes staring at him, he said: "Yi Feng, I'm this kind of person, and you're a dog I've raised myself. I won't allow anyone to betray me, especially not you..."

He said, a blue hand reached out to Yifeng. At the same time, everyone heard a "hiss" sound, followed by Yifeng's urgent gasping voice. Zou Chengyi's bony hand had suddenly inserted into Yifeng's abdomen. Blood dripped down his blue arm and fell onto the floor of the tomb chamber.

Yi Feng's eyes didn't show any surprise, only a hint of pain in his gaze. He suddenly stretched out his hand and tightly hugged Zou Chengyi into his arms. As they moved, Zou Chengyi's hands sank deeper into Yi Feng's abdomen.

Zou Cheng's entire body trembled, and the wind wrapped around him, gently patting his back. His voice was soft, but his throat kept gushing blood as he said: "Young Master, you're being too reckless! You can't use your powers so carelessly. Doesn't it hurt? Don't worry, Young Master still remembers that dan medicine..."

As he finished speaking, his body was like a burning flame, and when he uttered the last word, it quickly turned into a pool of blood water in Zou Chengyi's icy blue palm, holding a handful of mud mixed with blood water, along with a blue dan medicine.

Zou Chengyi's hands were shaking, and tears streamed down his icy blue eyes like a dam breaking. He frantically used his bony hands to scrape up the bloodstained mud from the ground, quickly kneading it into a lump, which he clutched to his chest. He muttered: "Yi Feng... you bastard..."

Wen Baiyu was shocked speechless, he was frightened by Zou Chengyi's sudden rage, everything happened in the blink of an eye, and it was too late to stop, Zou Chengyi actually killed Yi Feng with his own hands, Yi Feng turned into a pile of mud under everyone's eyes, along with the Dan medicine, which was Yi Feng's heart...

Zou Cheng's sudden fury caused all his spiritual energy to erupt, and his body couldn't withstand it. From his eyes to his face, from his hands to his legs, he quickly turned into a blue ice crystal.

That hidden voice suddenly burst out laughing, saying: "It's really too wonderful, I didn't expect Lord Yi Feng to be unable to withstand a single blow, and Mr. Zou's performance is truly astonishing, I didn't expect that just using a little bit of corpse fragrance would make Mr. Zou perform so wonderfully."

As soon as he spoke, everyone was stunned, corpse fragrance...

Zou Chengyi's sudden rage was originally related to Shi Xiang.

That person has been hiding and hasn't shown up, and his voice doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere.

Wan Xi Jing Hou suddenly said in a cold voice: "Your surname is Fang."

He spoke, and everyone was even more shocked. The one surnamed Fang, could it be Professor Fang? But they had discovered the corpses of Professor Fang all along the way.

That voice just laughed and said: "What's it to you?"

Isn't this a tacit acknowledgement? It's actually Professor Fang, so how many Professor Fangs are there in this world?!

Wan Ji Jing Hou said: "Your death and rebirth are not a matter of broken wooden fragments."

Professor Fang burst out laughing and said: "You actually know so much, what's the big deal about Jianmu fragments? I'll do things for the adults, and in return, they can give me the research I want and eternal life."

Wan Kuang Jing Hou coldly laughed and said: "Is it eternal life amidst repeated deaths?"

Wen Baiyu suddenly thought of the square professors in the cell, each with a terrifying expression when they died. Was it eternal life in this kind of death? That's too scary.

Professor Fang smiled and said, "Do you understand what this is? This is called transformation, the rebirth of a phoenix. It must also be met with fire to be burned, right? To achieve eternal life, one must undergo transformation."

"Wen Baiyu said: 'Who is the adult in your mouth?'"

Professor Fang couldn't help but chuckle and said, "No need to delay any further, you won't be able to find me, all the Jianmu fragments are complete now, it's time for refinement. With these Jianmu fragments, perhaps our eternal life won't require such a painful transformation..."

His voice was extremely strange, echoing in the tomb, and as soon as he finished speaking, a "heh heh heh" laughter sounded, the female corpse with scaly skin grabbed Guan Nan, just about to stretch out her hand to close the coffin lid. At the same time, the other zombies also began to rise from the dead, pouncing on Tang Ziyu who was wearing the wooden fragments.

Wan Xi Jing Hou stretched out his hand to stop Wen Bai Yu and said: "Do you really think that all the fragments of Jianmu are here?"

Professor Fang's voice suddenly rose and said, "What do you mean?"

He finished speaking and suddenly laughed, saying: "Do you still want to drag out the time? Wan Kuang Jing Hou, even if you are more powerful, it is impossible to break through the adult's carefully arranged formation."

Wan Xi Jing Hou said: "Have you ever thought that Yi Feng had already seen through your other purpose?"

As soon as he spoke, Professor Fang's voice immediately became tense and said, "Impossible."

Wan Xi Jing Hou said calmly, "The female corpse in the mirror grave, is it yours? No need to rush to deny it, you've already investigated the information about the mirror grave clearly. You brought your disciples to use blood sacrifice and raised the female corpse for seven years. However, you later discovered that the Jianmu fragments she possessed were only physical and didn't have a spirit. Otherwise, the female corpse wouldn't be unconscious either. The real Jianmu fragments aren't the ones the female corpse swallowed into her belly, but rather Guan Sang. Am I right?"

Xue Su immediately looked at Wan Qi Jing Hou and said: "Guan Nan?"

Wen Baiyu also said with a different tone: "Guan Nan... is it a piece of broken wood?"

Everyone was somewhat astonished, and Professor Fang remained silent for a long time before coldly laughing and saying: "Right, you're right. Don't drag out the time any longer. All the Jianmu fragments are here anyway. What other methods do you have? Just obediently wait to be refined."

Wan Xi Jing Hou just smiled faintly and said, "Is that so."

He said, and then suddenly heard the female corpse emit a "heh heh heh" sound, this time it wasn't laughter, but a terrified scream. Just then, Guan Shan in the coffin suddenly opened her eyes, stretched out her hand and grabbed the female corpse's arm that was resting on her shoulder.

Xue Su immediately went up to help, but was stopped by Wan Qi Jing Hou, who said, "Don't be in a hurry."

At this moment, Guan Nan's eyes emitted a blue light, just like Zou Chengyi's eyes. This movement startled everyone, and the blue light instantly penetrated the female corpse's skull, her face convulsing wildly as her head exploded.

Guan Nan's face was expressionless, like a puppet, and he suddenly jumped out of the coffin, then dragged the female corpse out, stretched out his hand to cut open the female corpse's belly, and rummaged inside with his hands, making a "squelching" sound.

Wen Baiyu heard the sound of internal organs being stirred, and suddenly "vomited" once, covering her own mouth. Wan Qi Jinghou quickly leaned his head against his chest and said, "It's okay, just don't look."

"Good grief!" Zhang's mouth was agape as he exclaimed, "Gosh, has Guan Nan gone crazy?"

Tang Ziyu had never seen such a disgusting scene, his face was somewhat pale, the crown prince supported his waist from behind, Tang Ziyu trembled and suddenly his face turned red, but he didn't know why his face suddenly turned red.

Xue Mu narrowed his eyes and stared at Guan Nan in front of him.

Guan Nan pulled out the wooden fragments from the female corpse's belly, and immediately burst into a "haha" laugh, with a voice that sounded like a child's.

"Guān Nán" immediately walked over and placed the wooden fragment in his hand into Wàn Qǐ Jǐng Hóu's hand.

Professor Fang's voice suddenly rose, as if he had seen a ghost, saying: "Ghost King?! Impossible! The Ghost King acknowledges its master, Yi Feng is already dead, who controls the Ghost King?!"

  "It's me."

A voice suddenly came from outside the door, and Zou Chengyi, who had been in a coma just now, suddenly convulsed and sat up, looking in the direction of the sound.

Everyone also had a ghostly expression, seeing Yi Feng wearing a black coat, standing upright outside the door, slapping his hand on the wall of the tomb several times. The iron net suddenly rose with a "rustling" sound, the machine was shut down, and the corpses surrounding them all fell to the ground at once.

Zou Chengyi disbelievingly said: "Yi Feng?"

He had just taken the corpse fragrance, suddenly flew into a rage, and actually killed Yi Feng with his own hands. The blue dan medicine was still in his skull-like hand, and he even had the seal mud that made Yi Feng. Unexpectedly, Yi Feng appeared again.

The wind rushed in, immediately picked up Zou Chengyi who was paralyzed on the ground, saw that he still held a blue dan medicine in his hand and didn't eat it. His voice was somewhat helpless, saying: "Young Master, you're too worrying, why don't you take the dan medicine? Doesn't your body hurt?"

He said, picking up the dan medicine and placing it at Zou Chengyi's mouth. However, Zou Chengyi did not open his mouth. Yi Feng lowered his head and pressed his lips against Zou Chengyi's, rolling his tongue to push the blue dan medicine into Zou Chengyi's mouth.

Zou Chengyi's lips were icy cold due to the rapid ice crystalization, and he blankly swallowed the dan medicine, saying: "Yi Feng?"

He saw his expression and couldn't help but soften his voice, saying: "Young master, I'm here."

Wan Xi Jing Hou looked at them coldly and said, "This is not the time for nostalgia, has Professor Fang been found?"

"Ugh, he's been talking for so long, his position has already been exposed. Let's go."

Xue Su said: "Wait, where's Guan Nan?"

The wind whispered in a low voice, "It's safe now, let's go and meet up."

Everyone was stunned for a moment, and the "Guan Nan" who had just cut open the female corpse's belly also turned into a blue ghostly big head in an instant, which was the Ghost King they found in the Ye Lang ancient tomb.

I didn't expect the master of Gui Wang to be actually Yi Feng.

It seems that the wind has concealed many things, but judging from Wang Qi Jing Hou's performance, it seems that he also knows a lot of things. For a while, everyone was confused and didn't know what had happened.

The crowd left the tomb, and Yi Feng hugged Zou Cheng and squatted down, gently patting the ghost king's head, saying: "Go."

The King of Ghosts immediately let out a "haha" laugh, then quickly crawled rapidly on the ground and plunged into the tomb passage in an instant.

"Wen Baiyu said: 'Where did he go?'"

Yi Feng said: "Go and catch Professor Fang, just now when Wan Kuang Jing Hou was stalling for time, I have already found him, you can rest assured that the Ghost King's ability is not bad, it's more than enough to deal with Professor Fang, let's go find Guan Nan first."

Everyone still has many doubts in their hearts, but as soon as they hear the two words "Guan Na", they can't help but feel a little anxious, and Gan follows closely behind, walking forward with the wind.

They quickly exited the tomb from the bronze gate of the broken temple, and Guan Nan was in the broken temple.

Guan Nan was leaning against the ground, with a blanket on the ground opposite him, a lighting tool, and several backpacks beside him. Guan Nan held a gun in his hand, and as soon as he heard any movement, he immediately took action, cautiously shining his flashlight forward with one hand. As soon as he saw it was a group of people, he became excited and tried to sit up, but this pulled on his wound, causing him to let out a hiss of pain.

Xue Mu immediately rushed over and hugged Guan Nan tightly, anxiously saying: "Are you injured? Your face looks terrible, what's uncomfortable?"

Xue Su's tense expression made Guan Nan somewhat happy, Xue Su was usually cold and indifferent, rarely showing such an expression, and Guan Nan had been oblivious from start to finish, not knowing that she and Xue Su already had a child together...

Guannan shook his head and said, "It's nothing, just a minor external injury."

He said, Blood Jade lowered his head to examine Guan Nan and found that there were many wounds on his arm. Some were needle holes, some were scratches, and some were cross-shaped knife wounds. However, most of them seemed to have healed already.

Xue Su's anger erupted immediately, Guan Nan was obviously abused, a pungent smell rushed up, and Guan Nan's tears fell down. Xue Su also hurriedly restrained his own anger.

Xue Su gently patted Guan Nan's back and said, "It's all right now."

Guan Nan nodded, but he was also afraid. After all, Guan Nan was not very old and had been taken away by someone for so long, locked in a cell/house.

Xiao Xuemu jumped onto Guan Nan's shoulder, hugging his cheek and rubbing back and forth, making "ah ah" sounds in her mouth.

Wen Baiyu said: "What's going on? They caught Guan Nan, is it because Guan Nan is the real Jianmu fragment?"

Wan Xi Jing Hou nodded, and Yi Feng said: "They want Guan's blood. The Jianmu fragments in the female corpse's belly are just forms; only with a spirit can they be merged."

No wonder Professor Fang wanted to lock Guan Nan and the female corpse together in a coffin, he was preparing to refine them together. However, they didn't know that Wan Qi Jing Hou and Xi Feng had already planned ahead and secretly rescued Guan Nan, using Gui Wang to switch places with the real master.

"So that night you and Wang Jue Hou guarded the night after disappearing, was it to do this thing?"

Yi Feng nodded and said, "Following the instructions to enter the Death Valley is a passive thing in itself. If we continue to be passive, we will definitely be killed by the general. I know that one person can't complete this task alone."

"Jiuming said: 'So we've been relying on a tyrant? That tyrant is really not making sense, actually not telling us, we've been kept in the dark all along!'"

Wen Baiyu knew that Wan Jie Jing Hou was afraid of being known by many people, and when the time came to reveal the truth, he would be exposed. At that time, Yi Feng and Wan Jie Jing Hou had just escaped from Pan Duo, but they immediately encountered a large group of centipedes, which caught them off guard, causing their team to disperse instantly. When they met again, Tang Ling and Tang Ziyu were present, and with outsiders around, Wan Jie Jing Hou became even more cautious.

"Ah, the wind held tightly in his arms, Zhōu Chéngyī couldn't stop trembling. His face was slowly turning into ice crystals as he said: 'All the Jianmu fragments have been gathered, they're all here. We don't need to refine them, but what we do need is Guān Nǎn's blood.'"

Xue Mu immediately became vigilant and looked at Yi Feng, after all, Yi Feng had hidden many things before he and Wan Kuang Jing Hou and Pan Tuo came out, including those dumplings that looked like Zou Chengyi, the ghost king in the Ye Lang ancient tomb, and the bronze tripod in the underground chamber...

All these signs indicate that Yi Feng is hiding very deeply and is not on the same path as them. If it weren't for this time, Yi Feng alone would not have been able to settle things, and he wouldn't have revealed himself to Wan Qi Jing Hou and Pan Duo.

Guan Yun's blood, the first bone marrow did not respond.

Zou Chengyi's condition was extremely weak, and he kept convulsing. His face was crystallizing at a visible rate, with many icy blue lines crawling out of his eyes, slowly eroding Zou Chengyi's skin.

Zou Chengyi's hands had completely turned into skeletons, hard as steel, his fingers couldn't bend, but he tightly covered the mud in his palms, seemingly unconscious, yet his mouth kept shouting "Yi Feng... Yi Feng..."

The wind grasped his hand and whispered: "Young master, I'm here."

But Zou Chengyi couldn't hear anything at all, only revealing a terrified expression, shouting "Yi Feng... Yi Feng..."

The wind blew for an instant, and her eyes turned slightly red. She smiled lightly and said: "Young master, I know I was wrong. No matter how similar or dissimilar, no matter how intact or not, as long as it's not you, young master, it won't do..."

Guan Nan looked at Zou Cheng, who was curled up into a ball, seemingly in great pain. A black feather slowly emerged from his back, growing larger and larger. Guan Nan's expression changed to one of surprise and urgency as he quickly asked: "Tell me what to do, you want my blood, how much?"

Xue Mu immediately disagreed, looking at Guan Nan. Guan Nan shook his head and said: "I can't just stand by and do nothing, and the one who caught me isn't Yi Feng either. Even if Yi Feng had something to hide from us before, we still can't just watch as Zou Cheng goes off to die."

Guannan said, her voice getting smaller, her hand shaking a bit, "Mingming still has a chance... I... I know the feeling of being abandoned to die..."

Guannan seemed to have thought of the scene where he fell into a burial pit in Huai'an Country, and was abandoned by his companions despite still having hope, desperately clinging to tree branches...

Xue Mu sighed and said, "Don't be too stubborn."

The blood marrow obviously softened his tone, and Yi Feng was slightly surprised. He looked at them and said, "It's just a little blood, there's no danger."

He said, just about to get up and pick up the wooden fragments, but as soon as he let go, Zou Chengyi's reaction was extremely large, immediately shouting in terror "Ah Feng!", Wen Baiyu felt a bit unbearable, saying: "We'll take it, you hold him well."

Wan Kuang Jing Hou took out all the Jianmu fragments from his body and placed them on the ground one by one, then looked at Tang Ziyu.

Tang Ziyu subconsciously touched his collar, quickly took off the black leather strap and handed the pendant on it to Wan Qi Jinghou.

Wan Xi Jing Hou put it on the ground again, a finished wooden building unfolded before everyone's eyes. It was not a tall and magnificent building that could connect heaven and earth, but just an ornament. The wooden building emitted a woody luster, yet also emitted a bronze luster, which was inexplicable.

Guan Nan's fingers were scratched and bleeding, with blood dripping down onto Jian Mu's head.

Jianmu suddenly emitted a fluorescent-like glow, the fragments slowly gathered together, quickly condensed, and surprisingly had a feeling of reuniting a broken mirror. In an instant, they condensed together to form a complete Jianmu.

He was somewhat excited, he had never been so excited since he became conscious, and immediately picked up the wooden ruler on the ground and put it in Zou Cheng's hand, saying: "Young master, wake up, don't sleep, young master, you succeeded."

Yi Feng said, looking at Zou Chengyi, Zou Chengyi's legs, hands and arms, even his face were almost completely turned into ice crystals, fortunately, there was still skin on his neck, Yi Feng quickly made a cut on Zou Chengyi's neck, blood dripped down, falling onto Jianmu's hand.

Jian Mu suddenly emitted a dazzling light, and after the flash of light, Zou Chengyi's black feathers on his back actually receded bit by bit. The blue ice crystals on his body also slowly dissipated, as if the terrifying ice crystals were just an illusion.

Zou Chengyi's breathing gradually stabilized, and he no longer twitched. After the blue light dissipated, Zou Chengyi's eyelids trembled, and his eyes suddenly opened wide. In front of him was a man in a black coat, it was Yi Feng...

He could see again and his hands had sensation, he could move them. One hand grasped a branch, the other hand still tightly clenched a small handful of mud.

  "What's wrong?"

Zou Chengyi was somewhat dazed and said a sentence in surprise.

"Ah, Master, you're awake, everything's alright."

He said, stretching out his hand to gently pinch Zhou Chengyi's knee. Zhou Chengyi let out a soft "ah" as he felt a sudden tingling sensation in his knee, which had been numb for years. He was startled and looked down to see that his leg had returned to its original state, no longer the terrifying, ugly ice crystal skull it once was.

Zou Chengyi's breathing was a bit rapid, and he looked at himself in disbelief. Wen Baiyu smiled and said: "Ah, this is good, Zou Chengyi is fine too. By the way, what about my uncle and the other gods of the Crow Clan? Won't we have to go find them one by one with the Jianmu tree branches?"

Zou Cheng shook his head and said, "No need, I am the patriarch of this generation. The wooden building has been stained with blood, and the curse of the Shenya tribe can be considered lifted."

He said, somewhat tired, as if he had just completed an impossible task.

Hehe smiled and looked at Zou Chengyi with narrowed eyes, suddenly his body tilted to one side, and Zou Chengyi was in his arms, the two of them fell to the ground together.

Yi Feng fell to the ground with a "thud", and everyone was shocked. Unexpectedly, Yi Feng suddenly fainted, Zou Chengyi immediately got up, his body had fully recovered, and he could move his legs again, looking at Yi Feng with some tension.

Zou Chengyi's hand was on Yi Feng's body, and he suddenly felt something wet. He lifted his hand to look, and it was actually blood!

Zou Chengyi immediately opened the windbreaker, and saw that there was a big hole in his chest, with blood flowing down, staining a large area red. However, the windbreaker was black, and the wind had been tying it up all along, so it couldn't be seen at all.

Zou Chengyi looked at the hole in Yi Feng's chest in disbelief, Yi Feng fell to the ground, briefly losing consciousness, his face pale.

"Wen Baiyu smelled a strong smell of blood and exclaimed: 'What's wrong with the wind? Hurry up and save people.'"

"It's okay, he won't die. He was made from the clay used to cast the nine tripod cauldrons in Peng Zu's tomb. No matter how many times he dies, it doesn't matter, as long as he is remolded again."

  Wen Baiyu: "......"

Wen Baiyu knew that Wan Kuang Jing Hou would definitely hold a small grudge, although Yi Feng cooperated with him, but before they had suffered a lot in Peng Zu's tomb, Yi Feng had already told him everything. At first, it was indeed himself who led them over there, but Yi Feng just wanted to hide his identity and let them wander around nearby until they got tired and left. However, he didn't expect Professor Fang to intervene and try to lead them into Peng Zu's tomb to eliminate them once and for all.

From then on, Yi Feng paid attention to Professor Fang.

Wen Baiyu saw that Zou Chengyi's eyes were red-rimmed and knew that although Yi Feng was a bit extreme, he was actually also for Zou Chengyi's sake.

Wen Baiyu's heart softened a bit, and she coughed, saying: "The smell of blood is too strong, it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable..."

Wen Baiyu's body is now weak, and Wan Qi Jinghou listened to it. He didn't care whether it was an excuse or not, and said to Zou Chengyi: "You killed Yi Feng in the tomb, but it was just a part of Yi Feng's pottery soil. It was used to make Professor Fang believe it was true. Just put the pottery soil back on."

Zou Cheng's hands were shaking slightly, it turned out that the one in the tomb was indeed also Yi Feng himself, but only a part of Yi Feng's ceramic soil, no wonder there was so little ceramic soil.

Zou Chengyi gathered those mixed blood and mud together, about the size of a hole in his chest.

Zou Chengyi reapplied the Taoist soil to Yifeng, and since everyone had to wait for the return of the Ghost King here, they all gathered together to rest. Wen Baiyu was exhausted and fell asleep leaning against Wan Kuang Jinghou.

When Yi Feng woke up, the sky was still dark. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Zou Chengyi staring at him. Zou Chengyi's eyes looked a bit tired, as if he hadn't slept all night. Yi Feng propped himself up, and Zou Chengyi wanted to help him but withdrew his hand.

Yi Feng stretched out his hand and grabbed Zhou Chengyi's hand, saying: "Young Master, don't you plan on acknowledging me anymore?"

Zou Chengyi didn't say a word, and Yi Feng immediately hugged him, gently stroking the young man's back, took two deep breaths, and said: "If from now on, Young Master really doesn't care about me anymore, it would be better to kill me."

Zou Chengyi suddenly took a deep breath and said: "Do you think I dare not?!"

The wind found the young man trembling in his arms, and hastily patted him gently, saying: "I was wrong, it was my fault, young master, I'm sorry... Young master, my chest hurts a bit, will you kiss me?"

Zou Chengyi's face turned from pale to bright red in an instant, gritting his teeth and pushing Yi Feng away, saying: "Yi Feng, you damn idiot!"

He immediately hugged Zou Chengyi again and said: "Yes, I'm a bastard."

Wen Baiyu leaned against Wan Kuang Jinghou to rest for a while, and then heard Zhou Chengyi's voice. She raised her head to take a look, and unexpectedly, Yi Feng woke up. Just as she was about to go over to see how Yi Feng was doing, Zhou Chengyi suddenly let out a hurried gasp, followed by the sound of kissing.

Wen Baiyu's face suddenly turned red, and she quickly pretended not to have seen it.

He moved slightly, and Wan Qi Jing Hou woke up, reached out to hold him, saying: "Rest for a while longer, huh?"

Wan Kuang Jing Hou's voice was a bit hoarse, probably because he had dozed off for a while earlier. The sound of his sleepy voice made Su's ears feel numb, and Wen Bai Yu quickly reached out to rub her ears.

After the sound of Wen Baiyu's kissing stopped, he sat up and said, "Why hasn't the King of Ghosts returned yet? Did something happen?"

Wan Xi Jing Hou glanced at his watch and said, "You've only slept for less than an hour, wait a little longer."

Wen Baiyu nodded, but he actually had a feeling of sitting on pins and needles. Although the Ghost King's power was extremely strong and absolutely loyal to Xi Feng, Wen Baiyu always had misgivings about that empty golden coffin, with a strange feeling in his heart...

Wan Xi Jing Hou looked at Wen Bai Yu staring blankly with her eyes wide open and said: "Can't sleep?"

"Ah... I was just lost in thought for a moment."

Wan Xi Jing Hou smiled and said: "Even when sleeping, you can still walk in a daze, huh?"

Wen Baiyu rubbed his ears again, they were all red and hot, he slightly pursed his lips, feeling a bit dry in his throat and mouth, stuck out the tip of his tongue and lightly licked his lips.

Wan Xi Jing Hou saw him licking his own lips, his eyes slightly dimmed, and immediately lowered his head, embracing Wen Bai Yu's waist, with one hand pressed against the back of Wen Bai Yu's ear, covering Wen Bai Yu's mouth.

Wen Baiyu felt that his tongue was sucked dry, Wan Qi Jinghou was like a madman, kissing him until he was dizzy, his breathing was trembling, and his chest was rising rapidly.

Wan Xi Jing Hou heavily kissed his lips while continuously pinching Bai Yu's ear, saying: "Bai Yu, it's been a long time since we've done this."

"You'd better not talk nonsense with your eyes wide open."

Wan Kuang Jing Hou smiled and said: "The forest doesn't count, it's not done thoroughly."

Wen Baiyu was even more helpless, his face red to the point of no return, his brain bursting with fireworks. Wan Jingshou stretched out his hand and stroked him, fiercely sucking on Wen Baiyu's lips, biting his ear, saying: "I won't mess around, let me touch, huh?"

Wen Bai Yu really wants to say, "Touch your big head, ghost!"

However, Wan Xi Jing Hou was a man of action, and he continued to gently kiss his lips, forehead, and chin. The simple affection made Wen Bai Yu feel even more embarrassed.

At this moment, Wen Baiyu's face suddenly changed, "Huh..." took a breath, his voice was somewhat urgent.

Wan Xi Jing Hou immediately sat up and tensely asked: "What's wrong? Did I hurt you, Bai Yu?"

Wen Baiyu's breathing was a bit rapid, she covered her abdomen with her hand and said: "No... it's not, it hurts a bit, I don't know what's wrong..."

Everyone on this side suddenly became flustered, and others who heard the sound also woke up, surrounding Wen Baiyu in a flurry, but none of them had any experience.

"Master, is it time for you to be born?!"

He said, turning his head to Guan Nan, "What to do, what should I do?"

"Huh?" Guan Nan was perplexed and didn't know why Jiu Ming would ask her that.

The only experienced Guan Nan still didn't know that the small Blood Orchid was born from himself, after all, it grew directly out of his skin and flesh, this method was also quite eerie...

The severe pain of Wen Baiyu's headache, dizziness, and shortness of breath made her feel like she was going to pass out. With the added anemia, she felt even more dizzy, as if the world was spinning around her. The shadow of Wan Qiuhou floated in front of her eyes, making her panic and grab onto his hand.

Wan Jie Jing Hou was momentarily flustered, letting him down would be a solution, but seeing Wen Bai Yu's painful expression, Wan Jie Jing Hou had only Wen Bai Yu by his side before this and had no experience with childbirth either. He could only tightly hold onto Wen Bai Yu's hand, repeatedly comforting him.

Wen Baiyu's whole body was covered in sweat, her head tilted to one side, and she suddenly fainted.

In the dark and gloomy darkness, there seemed to be a very soft voice talking to him, a boy's voice, with a clear and gentle tone, like flowing spring water, and a bit warm...

Wen Baiyu, have you ever seen a cicada? They spend years, even decades, in the mud, then emerge and molt. If this process is disrupted, the cicada will be crippled for life.
