Chapter 93: The Tomb of Wei Xuan Gong 3
When everyone saw the white commander's flag, they all thought of the story of Taizi Pi and Gongzi Shou. Duke Xuan of Wei was foolish and dissipated, but unexpectedly his two sons were both men of good character.
Wan Xi Jing Hou put it down, used a spoon to gently lift the white yak tail, then stretched out his hand to pick it up, lightly stroking the white fluff on top, furrowing his brow and saying: "It's a ghost."
"Wen Baiyu said: "Ghost?"
Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "The yin energy is very strong, and the resentment above is also very full."
Wen Baiyu said: "Is it really Prince Piao?"
Zou Chengyi turned his wheelchair and wanted to move to the side of the coffin to take a look. Without waiting for him to speak, Yi Feng pushed Zou Chengyi over. The area around the coffin was in disarray, and Zou Chengyi couldn't see anything, so he could only stretch out his hand to feel the inscription on the coffin.
Zou Chengyi touched it and seemed to have felt some words, saying: "I know who the tomb owner is now."
Wen Baiyu said: "If the tomb owner is a woman, is it Xuan Jiang?"
Zou Cheng nodded slightly and said: "The inscription reads 'Wife of Wei Zhao Bo'."
Wan Qi Jinghou saw Wen Baiyu Lu / out of a thread not understood, explained: "After the death of Taizi and Gongzi Shou, Gongzi Shuo succeeded to the throne in the second year, but the courtiers wanted to avenge their deceased lord/son, drove Gongzi Shuo out of Wei State, Gongzi Shuo fled to Qi State to borrow troops, and fought back to Wei State to restore himself as Duke of Wei. In order to protect his sister Xuan Jiang, Qi Xi Gong forced Taizi's younger brother to marry Xuan Jiang, this younger brother of Taizi was exactly Wei Zhao Bo."
It's not surprising that Wen Baiyu doesn't know about these things, after all, when he was a Honghu, he had already been buried with King Xiang of the Western Zhou Dynasty for several thousand years, and it wasn't until much later that Wan Qi Jinghou learned about these things.
Moreover, the folk customs of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period were quite bold and open-minded, and there was nothing that could not be done.
Xuan Jiang relied on her beauty, first marrying Wei Xuan Gong, then picking and separating, after Wei Xuan Gong's death, she married Wei Xuan Gong's youngest son, and as a result, she gave birth to five children for Wei Zhao Bo. The exact dates of her birth and death are not detailed, but it seems that she lived the longest.
Wen Baiyu's tongue is sharp, if we say that Xuan Jiang was quite pitiful at first, but later always stirred up trouble and even harmed her own most beloved son. She married twice, both times to ugly/heinous men, and seemed to be enjoying herself, clearly bringing it upon herself.
Wen Baiyu said: "If it's really Xuan Jiang, I think this white flag must be the one that Taizi Piao used. Xuan Jiang not only killed Taizi Piao's younger brother, but also married another younger brother, this debt is quite big."
Wan Qi Jing Hou put down the white command flag and walked to the side of the coffin, carefully looking at something, as if he wanted to find something.
"What are you looking for?"
Wan Qi Jing Hou didn't say a word, but smiled at him, that god-like smile almost dazzled Wen Bai Yu's eyes, Wen Bai Yu subconsciously touched his nose, as if he hadn't had a nosebleed.
Wan Qi Jing Hou just smiled, but didn't say a word. Instead, he took out a pair of rubber gloves from his backpack, put them on, and then reached out to flip open Xuan Jiang's coffin.
There are too many burial objects inside, Xuan Jiang has a total of seven children, although Xuan Jiang's reputation is very poor, but the seven children are either the wives of certain countries or the rulers of the country, so Xuan Jiang's burial objects are absolutely not few and extremely luxurious.
Wan Xi Jing Hou searched for a while and finally found a small bottle at the very bottom, no bigger than the palm of his hand. The bottle was made of gold, but since the purification process wasn't good back then, it didn't look like pure gold. The golden bottle had already developed a ring of rust on its surface, probably because the coffin had been exposed and the funeral objects inside had come into contact with the air, causing some to start deteriorating.
Wan Xi Jing Hou weighed the small golden bottle in his hand, a hint of a smile on his face. He opened the lid and instead of putting it to his nose, he simply waved his hand gently, releasing a fragrance into the air.
Zou Chengyi was still feeling the inscription on the coffin material when he suddenly smelled a fragrance and said, "What is that?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou immediately covered the bottle and said with a mysterious smile: "Good stuff."
Zou Chengyi was somewhat puzzled, but he didn't like that taste, so he didn't ask again.
Wen Baiyu asked Zou Chengyi: "What else is recorded above?"
Zou Chengyi smiled and said: "It's more interesting. Although the records on this are very vague, Xuan Jiang was likely scared to death."
Wen Baiyu said in surprise: "Scared to death?"
Zou Cheng nodded and said, "Right, I guess it's because of doing too many bad things. The records above show that Xuan Jiang's body has always been good, but suddenly fell ill, and the subsequent writings are very vague, but it can be seen that she was scared to death, and kept talking nonsense."
Wen Baiyu said: "It can't be another ghost of Prince Zhen, can it?"
He said, "Wait a minute, is there any wooden fragment on Xuan Jiang's skull?"
Yi Feng said: "The corpse has already rotted to this state, there shouldn't be any wooden fragments."
Wan Xi Jing Hou said: "That's not necessarily true."
He said, and actually used a dagger to lift up Xuan Jiang's skull, Wen Baiyu's eyelid twitched, and suddenly felt a surge of nausea, which rose to the throat, almost vomiting.
Wan Qi Jing Hou saw that his complexion was not good, and immediately threw away the skull, wanting to help Wen Bai Yu. Wen Bai Yu waved his hand and said: "Stay away from me, your hands touched the skull."
He said: "It's just a matter of using a knife to pick..."
Wan Qi Jing Hou felt a bit helpless, pointing at the skull on the ground and saying: "There is also a hole in the back of his skull, and the shape of the hole is very special."
As soon as he said that, the crowd immediately gathered around and saw that behind Xuan Jiang's skull, there was indeed a needle/pin hole, which looked like it was caused by a sharp blade. The hardness of the wooden fragments was absolutely not a problem.
And next to this needle/hole, there are two small scratches, which are also symmetrical, one on the left and one on the right.
Yi Feng said: "There's a scratch? The wooden fragment stuck in Xuan Jiang's skull at the back of her head is actually the part with leaves."
Look at this mark, it should be Jianmu's leaf rubbing against the skull, and a long time has scratched out the mark.
Wen Baiyu said: "But now the wooden fragments are gone, they must have been pulled out, otherwise how could Xuan Jiang's body rot like this?"
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone immediately thought of that white banner.
Mo Yang said: "If the feather fan is really Taizi's, then the wooden structure behind Xuan Jiang's brain was likely taken away by Taizi."
Peng Siye said: "Jianmu was taken away by a ghost, how can we find him?"
Everyone fell silent, and Wan Qi Jing Hou said calmly: "Don't forget, the wooden fragment should be in the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong, but it's now hidden in the tomb of Xuan Jiang. It's clear that after Wei Xuan Gong died, Xuan Jiang took advantage of her power to take away his burial objects. Now the burial objects are gone, and the person who took them obviously knows the ability of this wooden fragment..."
He said, pausing for a moment, looking at the white commander's flag, "Suppose the person who took away the Jianmu fragment is indeed Crown Prince Yi. If he found the Jianmu fragment, what would be the first thing he wants to do?"
Wen Baiyu said: "Rebirth?"
Wan Qi Jing Hou nodded and said, "It's a revival of Gongzi Shou. Gongzi Shou took the place of Taizi Quan to die, but when Taizi Quan arrived, he saw that Gongzi Shou had died in his place and hadn't escaped, instead staying behind and also being killed by the robbers. This shows that the two men's feelings for each other were very deep, and Taizi Quan felt a great deal of guilt towards Gongzi Shou..."
He said, "Previously, Zou Chengyi mentioned that Wei Xuan Gong was afraid of the ghost's revenge, so he used a dragon to press his tomb and also prepared a coffin with an undying tree."
Wen Baiyu's eyes widened as she said: "This... you're saying that the Crown Prince might have brought that piece of wooden fragment into the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong."
Wan Xi Jing Hou nodded and said: "Right, the coffin of the Undying Tree is an important thing if we want to revive Gongzi Shou."
"But can the coffin leaning against the dead tree and the wooden fragments really bring a person back to life?"
Zou Cheng shook his head and said, "Of course it's impossible, but if the Jianmu fragments are six complete pieces, then it's not necessarily so. The true power of the Jianmu fragments is something that no one has ever seen before. However, wanting to nourish a corpse to keep it intact is absolutely no problem."
Wen Baiyu said, "This Xuan Jiang is really something. The fragments of the Jianmu are so precious, yet they were chopped into so many pieces, each piece smaller than a needle. It's simply a waste of heaven's treasures."
Zou Chengyi waved his hand and said, "No time to waste, we still have to find the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong, and now someone wants to compete with us."
As Wen Baiyu was about to turn around and walk out of the tomb, he saw a white shadow darting past. It seemed to have been hiding among the funeral objects in the corner of the tomb chamber all along, and because it was so small, no one else had noticed it.
The white fox darted out and ran quickly towards the tomb passage, wanting to escape from the tomb chamber. At this moment, Wan Qi Jing Hou moved his foot and with a "thud" kicked away the funeral objects beside him.
The white fox let out a miserable cry of "Ah——", and was knocked to the ground. Wan Zhi Jing Hou's strength must not be small, the white fox fell to the ground and didn't get up, and kept making "Ah ah" sounds on the ground.
Wen Baiyu immediately covered her nose and said, "What a strong smell."
Zou Chengyi said: "Xuan Jiang's coffin was exposed, and it is estimated that the yin energy of the corpse attracted the fox."
Wen Baiyu suddenly said "Huh?" and quickly walked over, stopping beside the white fox to look at the funeral object that Wang Qi Jinghou had just kicked away.
The burial objects fell to the ground and were scattered. The box cover was even kicked into pieces by Wan Qi Jing Hou, and two things rolled out from inside.
"Dragon's Eye!" exclaimed Wen Bai Yu in surprise.
He finished speaking and immediately turned his head to look at Wan Jie Jing Hou, fearing that Wan Jie Jing Hou would become violent and crazy again.
Wan Xi Jing Hou had already walked behind him, but his breathing was very stable, his complexion was normal, his eyes were black and hadn't turned red, everything was perfectly normal, without any signs of going crazy.
Wan Xi Jing Hou saw his inquiring gaze, smiled and said softly: "Don't worry, I just released it last night, thanks to your credit."
Wen Baiyu: "......"
Wen Baiyu's old face turned bright red, and he really didn't know what to say.
They said it was a dragon eye, and everyone immediately gathered around. To be honest, even Peng Siye and Mo Yang had never seen the eyes of a dragon before.
Yi Feng's eyes widened in surprise as he quickly walked over, took the longan from Wen Baiyu's hand and carefully examined it in his palm.
The size of these dragon eyes is no different from that of a normal human eyeball, the pupils are golden in color and shining with luster, it's not a large-sized dragon like the candle dragon, estimated to be a Golden Dragon.
He was somewhat excited, he usually had a calm demeanor, this expression was rarely seen.
He took off his glasses and rubbed his temples with his hand, letting out a long sigh, saying: "It's really dragon eye."
Wen Baiyu said: "Won't this also be a burial object taken out of the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong by Xuan Jiang? The dragon's eyes are here, what does the dragon that guards the grave look like? No eyes, or have they already been chopped off?"
Yi Feng smiled and said: "These are still unknown, but I didn't expect it to be so easy to find the dragon eye."
Wen Baiyu saw him excited and said: "What can Longyan do?"
He turned his head and looked at Zou Chengyi, saying: "Can let young master revive."
Wen Baiyu suddenly thought of Tang Zijian's method of replacing eyes with blood jade for Yu Wei Yang.
Wen Baiyu said: "Is it really possible? Previously, Wan Kuang Jinghou said that the dragon's yang energy is very sufficient. Can Zou Cheng's body withstand it?"
Yi Feng said: "Don't worry, I'm still here."
As soon as Zou Cheng heard that he could regain his sight, his heart skipped a beat, and he didn't know what to feel. He had already become a cripple, and without eyes, he couldn't do anything, completely useless. If he could really regain his sight, no matter the cost, it would be worth it.
Yi Feng said: "Things should not be delayed, hurry up and go, after going I will give Young Master a new pair of eyes."
Everyone immediately walked out, and the structure of the tomb was actually very simple. It's just that those fox dens dug outside were too complicated.
They took some time to come up from the tomb, and after coming up, everyone gathered at the previous campsite. The sky had already darkened, and it was about to be pitch black.
The wind is going to change eyes for Zou Chengyi again, and the crowd began to set up tents, preparing to stay overnight.
Peng Siye brought many tents, and the crowd set up three small tents, with three sides surrounding a fire pit. Yi Feng immediately hugged Zou Chengyi and entered the tent, while Wen Baiyu curiously asked: "What does it look like to change eyes?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou smiled and said: "You definitely don't want to see it."
Yi Feng and Zou Chengyi were in the tent, while others sat outside by the fire, roasting food and starting to cook.
They used to eat cold food in the tomb, although it was still edible. Now that the weather has turned cold, all the canned goods have frosted over and the meat and soup inside are frozen solid.
Mo Yang poured the canned food into the pot and heated it up, a fragrance wafted out. They had stayed in the tomb for a long time, where the yin energy was too strong. Now, roasting by the fire while waiting for dinner to be ready, they felt quite comfortable.
Peng Siye sniffed his nose and smiled: "So fragrant."
Wen Baiyu sniffed and smelled a greasy smell, suddenly a feeling of nausea surged up, Wen Baiyu seemed to have gotten used to this feeling, slightly held her breath and suppressed the feeling, then stopped smelling the pot.
Many people were cooking outside, hearing the meat soup in the pot making a "gurgling" sound. While waiting for the rice to cook, they chatted casually and sorted out their thoughts. In short, their goal was still to continue searching for the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong. If there really is a dragon in the tomb, then there's no need to go find the Dragon Cave anymore.
At this moment, a painful moan suddenly came from the tent, Zou Chengyi's breathing was very urgent, with a sense of oppression, and his throat let out a low growl.
Everyone exchanged a glance, and indeed, it's better not to look at things like eye-swapping. Just hearing about it feels terrifying, let alone actually doing it.
The painful moans and groans in the tent continued intermittently for about half an hour. Everyone's meal was ready, but listening to the sounds inside made them feel unappetized, as if the meat in their mouths had turned bitter.
After a while, Wen Baiyu perked up her ears to listen and said: "It's quiet now, is it done? I'll go take a look..."
He stood up and said, but Wan Qi Jing Hou pulled him back down and sat him down, saying: "Where are you going? The wind is still inside."
Wen Baiyu thought to herself, "Since the wind is inside, can't I go in?" But Wan Jiahui didn't give her a chance to speak and said, "You eat so little? You don't even eat meat, you must be starving at midnight, have some more."
Wen Baiyu shook her head and avoided Wan Jingshou's offering of meat, saying: "Don't give me any, I always feel like there's a strange smell to it, really can't eat it."
Wan Xi Jing Hou touched his forehead and said: "No appetite? Is it a cold?"
Wen Baiyu said: "Maybe it's because of the heavy yin energy in the tomb."
Wen Baiyu said, Wan Xi Jinghou suddenly raised his hand, and a flame burst out of his palm, throwing it into the fire pit. The flames instantly roared louder with a "whoosh".
Peng Siye stared at the pot surrounded by fierce flames, and suddenly felt a bit helpless. "Jing Ye," he said, "your fire is so big that the pot is about to melt."
Wen Baiyu: "......"
Zou Chengyi was in so much pain that he almost fainted, his eyes were originally going to be dug out and replaced with a pair of dragon eyes, but unexpectedly he didn't faint, the pain persisted, making him breathe heavily, breaking out in cold sweat, looking like he had just been pulled out of water.
The wind's voice was gentle, constantly whispering: "Young master, bear with it a little longer, just a bit more."
Zou Cheng's teeth were clenched, his tongue and lips were bitten, his chest heaved rapidly, and he said: "You... you talk too much nonsense, hurry up with your hands."
Yi Feng laughed and said: "Young master, at this time you should yield."
Zou Cheng's brain was buzzing with a loud humming noise, and he didn't know how long it had been, but the time felt very long, longer than a year, even more unbearable than when he lay in his coffin on Mount Kunlun.
"Just then, Yi Feng laughed and said: 'Alright, young master.'"
Zou Chengyi felt a surge of joy, and a smile appeared on his pale face. His eyelashes trembled several times, and his eyelids jumped, but he still didn't dare to open his eyes, as if afraid that when he opened them again, everything would still be dark.
"Ah, wind laughed and said: 'Young master, open your eyes and take a look.'"
Zou Chengyi heard the gentle voice of Yi Feng, and it seemed as if he was being bewitched. He slowly opened his eyes to find that the electric light in the tent had been turned on. The dim yellow light wasn't very bright, but the sudden strong light made Zou Chengyi's heart skip a beat. The light stung his eyes, and he raised his hand to cover them.
He let out a sigh and smiled again, turning around to wipe his hands with a paper towel.
Zou Chengyi's gaze trembled, and he saw Yi Feng standing not far away from him, with his side facing him. His facial features were deep and handsome, revealing a gentle and calm demeanor. His hands were covered in fresh blood, slowly wiping the back of his hand, palm, and fingers.
His fingers were long and full of strength, his fingernails were cut very squarely, even the way he wiped his hands was very square.
Zou Cheng was somewhat mesmerized, blinked his eyes, and the image of Yi Feng still appeared in front of him, without disappearing.
At this time, Yi Feng suddenly turned his head and looked at Zou Chengyi.
Zou Chengyi was suddenly caught off guard and immediately retracted his gaze, raised his hand to cover his mouth and coughed lightly.
Hehe, Feng walked over with a smile and said, "Young Master, did you see clearly?"
Zou Cheng nodded slightly, and Yi Feng smiled and said: "Young Master, your eyes have turned golden."
Zou Chengyi couldn't see the color of his own pupils, but he knew that his originally tea-colored eyes had suddenly turned golden. Although he couldn't see it himself, he blinked unnaturally a few times.
Yi Feng stretched out his hand, Zou Chengyi closed his eyes suddenly, Yi Feng's fingers gently stroked Zou Chengyi's eyelids, and said softly: "Golden is also very beautiful, it suits the young master."
Zou Chengyi felt a bit embarrassed, immediately thinking of the scene in the tomb where he had actively entwined with Yi Feng, his face involuntarily turning red as he pushed away Yi Feng's hand.
Yi Feng's fingers still had some uncleaned bloodstains on them, and Zou Chengyi saw Yi Feng raise his hand, lightly lick the bloodstains on his fingers, and smile naturally: "The young master's blood is indeed sweet."
Zou Cheng took a deep breath and paused, his throat suddenly becoming hoarse, with an unhappy expression on his face. He glared at Yi Feng for a moment before turning away.
Yi Feng helped Zou Cheng into a wheelchair and tidied up the blanket on his legs, saying: "Don't worry, young master, your leg will get better."
Zou Chengyi didn't say a word, only revealing a hint of bitter smile at the corner of his mouth. Even if his eyes could recover, how could his legs? Their goal was something that even a divine crow clan member couldn't accomplish in several thousand years.
The curtain of the tent rustled, and Wen Baiyu saw Zou Chengyi sitting in a wheelchair being pushed out. He immediately stood up to greet him, exclaiming in surprise: "It's really golden."
Zou Chengyi also felt a bit unnatural and blinked his eyes. Wen Baiyu said: "Can you see it?"
Zou Cheng nodded slightly and said: "It's quite clear that there is a mark on your neck."
Wen Baiyu subconsciously touched her neck, and suddenly felt a sharp pain, it must have been Wan Jingshou's bite last night, and it was exposed outside, completely unable to cover it up, didn't expect to be teased by Zou Chengyi.
Zou Chengyi's eyes were better, which was definitely worth celebrating, but they were in the wilderness and couldn't drink alcohol. Everyone sat down to eat and chat, and when it got late, they all went to sleep.
Wen Baiyu actually didn't like small tents, because if he and Wan Jinhou lived in the same tent alone, something "strange" would definitely happen, and then Wen Baiyu wouldn't be able to sleep at all.
As everyone else crawled into their tents to sleep, Wen Baiyu also had no choice but to crawl inside and then pulled the curtain shut, telling Wanjing Hou outside: "You keep watch tonight."
Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "There is nothing unclean here either, the fox has been dealt with, no need to keep watch at night."
He said, with a wave of his hand, he lifted the curtain and quickly crawled into the tent.
Wen Baiyu saw him coming in and immediately wanted to drill into the sleeping bag. Wan Qi Jinghou stretched out his hand to stop him, hugged him in his arms, and smiled: "I'm warmer than a sleeping bag."
Wen Baiyu was about to push him, but Wan Jingshou had already wrapped himself around him. His two hands clamped down on Wen Baiyu's arms, and one of his long legs inserted itself between Wen Baiyu's legs, pinning them in place.
Wen Baiyu suddenly tensed up and said: "I'm especially tired, and I...my body still hurts."
Wan Xi Jing Hou heard the soft voice of Wen Bai Yu, his breathing suddenly became heavy, his chin pressed against Wen Bai Yu's shoulder, and he blew a breath into Wen Bai Yu's ear, smiling and saying: "I promise this time it won't hurt, okay?"
Wen Baiyu immediately blew up upon hearing that and said: "No way, absolutely not, I'd die if I did it every day! You say it doesn't hurt? Let me try it on you!"
Wan Xi Jing Hou raised his chin, holding down Wen Bai Yu's lips, and smiled: "Hm? Want to get on me?"
Wen Baiyu was kissed by him, and her body seemed to have remembered the feeling of Wan Jie Jing Hou. She couldn't resist Wan Jie Jing Hou's beauty trap in the first place, and now she felt like she was on fire, her breathing suddenly becoming hot.
Wen Baiyu gritted his teeth and decided to hold his ground. He hadn't slept well the night before, which was probably why he had no appetite, and couldn't even eat. Although doing that thing with Wan Kuang Jing Hou was indeed very comfortable, it was only limited to the early stages. But Wan Kuang Jing Hou's physical strength was too good, one session would last all night, and he would even force Wen Baiyu to say some wall-bashing words before he could barely climax. Wen Baiyu felt that even if he were a swan goose, he absolutely couldn't withstand it, and coming several more times would definitely lead to exhaustion...
Wan Xi Jing Hou saw that he was biting his teeth and not opening his mouth, so he kissed his lips and said: "It really doesn't hurt, if you feel a little pain, next time it's your turn, okay?"
Wen Baiyu's eyes lit up as soon as she heard it, and she looked at Wan Kuang Jinghou with a slanted gaze. "Cough cough" She coughed twice and said, "Really?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou immediately nodded and said, "Really."
Wen Baiyu said: "You must keep your word, if you don't, you're a useless person."
Wan Xi Jing Hou smiled and said: "I am a rotten mud loach, what's good about you?"
Wen Baiyu's face revealed a sly smile as he said, "Then I'll let you do whatever you want. You can take the lead?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou: "......"
Wan Xi Jing Hou felt a bit helpless, not knowing what was going on in Wen Bai's mind, and smiled with narrowed eyes: "You're thinking quite far ahead."
Wen Baiyu's face flushed as he imagined the scene of "himself sitting on top" and suddenly became uncontrollably excited, his body instantly burning up. Wan Jingshou saw him like this and immediately lowered his head, covering Wen Baiyu's mouth with his own, stretching out his tongue to entwine it with Wen Baiyu's.
Wen Baiyu was kissed dizzy by Wan Jingshou, who knew his preferences and weaknesses. Wen Baiyu soon softened up, exhausted from being messed with by Wan Jingshou. At first, it still felt pretty comfortable, but later on, he really couldn't take it anymore.
Wen Baiyu's eyes were bloodshot, and at this moment, Wan Jingshou seemed to still be calm and collected. Suddenly, he took out a small golden bottle. Wen Baiyu recognized the object as something that Wan Jingshou had brought back from the tomb, an item buried with Xuan Jiang, but she didn't know what was inside.
Wan Xi Jing Hou opened the bottle cap and handed it to Wen Bai Yu, who saw a small pill of medicine inside. When he smelled it, his mind suddenly went "buzz", and a strange fragrance wafted up, similar to the scent of a white fox, but even more pleasant, without any nauseating smell.
Wen Baiyu's eyes suddenly turned even redder, and his hoarse voice said: "What is this thing?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou smiled and said: "Good stuff, doesn't it hurt?"
Wen Baiyu was asked by him, and her mind was dizzy. Only then did she realize that it didn't hurt, nor was it uncomfortable. Her hands were tightly wrapped around Wang Qi Jing Hou's neck, feeling extremely spirited and excited, and immediately knew what it was.
Wen Baiyu gritted her teeth and almost cried out, saying: " Wan Qi Jing Hou you bastard, how could you use this thing on me..."
Wan Xi Jing Hou smiled and kissed his eyes, rolling up the tip of his tongue to wipe away Wen Bai Yu's tears, saying: "Shh... don't cry, does it still hurt?"
It's not just that it doesn't hurt, Wen Baiyu was in a state of high excitement all night, actively hugging Wan Qi Jinghou, and at first he could still scold people, but later Wan Qi Jinghou let him say whatever he wanted, absolutely obedient.
The two of them struggled until the sky turned gray, and Wen Baiyu was exhausted and fell asleep. Wan Qi Jinghou was refreshed and simply wiped them clean before going outside to fetch water to clean Wen Baiyu up.
Actually, Wen Baiyu's adaptability is very good. After being tossed around by Wan Kuangying a few times, he has almost adapted to it.
Wan Jiahao finished washing up and came out to make breakfast. Peng Sihou happened to be opening the tent and walking out, with a pair of dark eye circles on his face. Seeing Wan Jiahao's eyelids twitching, he said: "You'd better pay attention, we've been traveling all night, can your wife take it?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou smiled and said: "I'm holding him."
Peng Siye: "......"
Peng Siye didn't sleep well all night, and from the moment he lay down, sounds came out of Wan Zhaoming's tent. At first, they were relatively suppressed, and could be ignored as if not heard, and after enduring for a while, he fell asleep.
But in the second half of the night, I couldn't bear it anymore. The voice actually got louder, and Wan Qi Jing Hou was cold and aloof in front of people, but behind his back, he was both sinister and flirtatious, always making Wen Bai Yu say that she liked him. Peng Si Ye thought he could pretend to sleep, but he couldn't even do that.
Peng Siye woke up in the middle of the night to find Mo Yang also awake. He thought he could take advantage of the situation, but Mo Yang's face was too thin and their first time had been extremely unpleasant. Afterwards, Peng Siye would often threaten Mo Yang, leaving a shadow in his heart. Although he no longer disliked Peng Siye, doing that kind of thing still made him uncomfortable.
Peng Siye now mostly just pecks on the cheek with Mo Yang, and that's only when Mo Yang is in a good mood. As for continuing to do it, who knows when that'll happen, maybe next year or the year after.
Wen Baiyu slept for two hours, and soon the sky brightened. Outside, people were cooking and talking, which quickly woke Wen Baiyu up. As soon as she woke up, she remembered how she had hugged Wang Jue Hou, and her mind suddenly started exploding with fireworks, and she sat up with a start.
Wen Baiyu's body ached slightly, but it wasn't serious. He immediately got up and rummaged through the tent, and indeed found the small golden bottle in his backpack. Wen Baiyu was so angry that he clenched the bottle in his hand, unsure of how to deal with it.
If not, the dead Wan Kuang Jing Hou was so sure he wouldn't be in pain, it turned out that he had already thought of a way, and actually used this thing on himself. Wen Baiyu thought about it and his face suddenly flushed with anger.
Wan Xi Jing Hou heard a sound in the tent and immediately lifted the curtain to enter, saying: "Not sleeping for a while?"
As soon as he came in, he saw Wen Baiyu's face twisted with anger and hatred, pinching the bottle, staring at him with a bad expression.
Wan Kuang Jing Hou smiled, and Wen Bai Yu saw that he could still smile, immediately jumped up violently, grabbing his collar.
Wan Xi Jing Hou reached out and wrapped his hand around his waist, gently pressing down and asked: "So energetic, doesn't your body feel uncomfortable?"
Wen Baiyu immediately let out a "hiss" and said: "You rotten loach, you actually used this kind of thing on me."
Wan Xi Jing Hou said: "The dan medicine in here I've checked, it's not addictive, you're just feeling pain, take two puffs and it'll be fine."
Wen Baiyu: "......"
Wen Baiyu almost went wild, such a shameful thing was said so calmly, he really wanted to let Wan Qi Jinghou swallow the golden bottle!
Wen Baiyu threw the bottle at Wan Jingshou and said: "You have five minutes to get rid of it, I don't like this thing."
Wan Qi Jing Hou saw Wen Bai Yu's attitude was quite resolute, and knowing that Wen Bai Yu had a thin face, he took over with a smile and said: "I'll go throw it away, don't be angry."
As he spoke, he also kissed the corner of Wen Baiyu's mouth. Wen Baiyu's face turned red and she glared at Wan Qi Jinghou, only to see that Wan Qi Jinghou had indeed taken out the golden bottle and left. Only then did she let out a sigh of relief, that thing was simply going to kill her.
Wan Qi Jing Hou went out for less than a minute and immediately came back. Wen Bai Yu said suspiciously: "Did you throw it away?"
Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "Originally I was going to throw it away, but Peng Si Ye wants to take it."
Wen Baiyu's eyelid twitched and she secretly wiped a cold sweat for Mo Yang...
It's not late for Wen Baiyu to get up, everyone had eaten and it was Peng Siye's turn to drive, Zou Chengyi sat in the back, smiling and sizing up Wen Baiyu.
"What's wrong?"
Zou Cheng smiled and said: "Nothing, I just took a look at you, and thought your complexion is still quite good."
Wen Baiyu: "......"
The car drove for more than half an hour and arrived at the place where everyone was supposed to gather last time. In front of them was a forest, but the trees were not very dense, so the car definitely couldn't drive in, especially such a big one like theirs.
Wan Kuang Jing Hou got off the carriage, flipped his hand and with a "thud" sound, he jumped onto the roof of the carriage, standing on top to observe the surrounding terrain.
Wan Xi Jing Hou's movements were particularly neat and efficient, his legs spread apart at shoulder width, wearing a black long coat with no buttons, his legs straight and long, wearing a pair of black high boots, looking incredibly handsome.
Wen Baiyu coughed, shifting her gaze away from Wan Qi Jing Hou's face. Peng Siye, on the other hand, looked at his own carriage with a pained expression, where two shoe prints on the roof were covered in dirt.
Wan Kuang Jing Hou glanced around and then jumped off the carriage, saying: "The terrain here is indeed good. If Wei Xuan Gong is buried here, this would be a point of convergence of vital energy."
Zou Chengyi said: "Last time we have already roughly found it, the deeper part of the forest has not been searched yet, and there is definitely none outside."
Everyone stopped the car, opened the trunk, put all the luggage on their backs, and prepared to enter the forest.
Wan Qi Jing Hou wanted to help Wen Bai Yu carry his luggage, but Wen Bai Yu wasn't feeling too bad. He had a bit of soreness on his body, but he was already used to it. Although he only slept for two hours, he had to say that Zhu Long's thing was really nourishing. Wen Bai Yu wasn't sleepy at all now, and his body wasn't tired either. His spirit was very full.
Wen Baiyu didn't let him carry his luggage, she carried a bag herself and followed the crowd into the woods.
Zou Chengyi had been here once before, but last time he couldn't see anything, this time however he could.
The trees in the forest are not very dense, but today is a cloudy day with little sunlight and some fog, making the forest look somewhat dim and humid.
Wen Baiyu said: "In such a humid place, Wei Xuan Gong wants to be buried here, isn't the corpse going to change?"
Wan Kuang Jing Hou said: "If the tomb is sealed properly, there will be no corpse change... but I see the fog here, it's not because of the weather."
Wen Baiyu said: "Is there something unclean here?"
Wan Qi Jing Hou nodded and said: "The yin energy is very strong, everyone be careful."
The forest was very damp and cold. Although they didn't see anything dirty after entering, since General Wan said so, everyone became extra cautious.
They followed the previous route of Zou Chengyi and Xi Feng, and walked through it again. There were many small holes for excavation on the ground, which seemed to be their doing, but they did not find any tombs.
After half an hour of walking, there was a stone mountain in front of them. The mountain wasn't high, but the stone mountain was hidden in the fog, looking very ethereal, just like a fairyland.
"Wen Baiyu said: 'It's so cold, the fog is getting thicker.'"
Wan Qi Jing Hou nodded and said, "The yin energy is very sufficient."
Zou Chengyi said: "Is there something on this mountain?"
Wen Baiyu said: "Go and take a look, then you'll know."
The mountain was initially still accessible by a small path that could be followed upwards, but later it became a rugged and rocky terrain that didn't resemble a road at all. Zhou Chengyi's wheelchair couldn't move on the mountain, so he folded it up and carried Yifeng in his arms to continue moving forward.
Zou Chengyi was inconvenient to move, and before that, he was often carried by Xi Feng. However, since the awkward incident in the tomb, Zou Chengyi's eyes had recovered, but he always felt something was off.
The stone mountain is not big, the higher you go, the colder it gets, and the top is surrounded by thick fog.
The fog was too thick, Wen Baiyu lowered her head and could hardly see her own feet. She waved her hands a few times to dispel the dense fog, feeling that this place was too cold, and the stones seemed like ice blocks.
Wan Kuang Jing Hou's palm suddenly lit up with a "whoosh" sound, and the flames of the fire essence instantly dispersed some of the fog.
Peng Siye and Mo Yang caught up, Peng Siye said: "The fog is too thick here, it's easy to get separated and it's too dangerous."
He had just spoken, Mo Yang already said: "Wait a minute, what's that thing over there?"
He pointed in front of him, the fog was very thick, but vaguely there was a dark thing behind the fog.
The crowd immediately walked over, and the flame in Wan Xi Jing Hou's hand was sent forward, dispersing the mist.
Just as Moyang said earlier, a large cave suddenly appeared. Judging from the appearance of the cave, it might be naturally formed, and it's very deep inside. A gust of yin energy emerged from within, and there was wind blowing out from the entrance, but surprisingly, it couldn't disperse that mass of fog.
Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "Corpse energy."
Wen Baiyu also felt that strong aura and curiously looked into the cave entrance.
Everyone took out their flashlights and tied them to their arms before entering the cave.
The cave is very large, about the size of a basketball court. It looks natural and there are no signs of artificial excavation inside.
Zou Chengyi exclaimed in surprise: "There are words on the stone wall."
He said, raising his arm and shining a flashlight on the characters on the wall, "Seal script?"
The crowd gathered around, and the marks of those words were very clear. They were in seal script, but they had not been carved for a long time.
"Two sons on a boat, drifting away. I wish to speak and think of you, without any blemish or harm..."
Zou Chengyi slowly recited it and said: "Is this 'Two Sons Riding a Boat' from the Book of Songs?"
They continued to walk in, and the walls of the cave were densely covered with seal characters. The dates of these seal characters were far and near, very strange. Some words had been weathered by the wind and could not be seen, while some words were brand new, carved on without too much time passing.
The common point is that they all depict two children in a boat.
Wan Qi Jing Hou saw Wen Bai Yu looking somewhat puzzled and explained: "The two sons on the boat were talking about Crown Prince Tai and Gongzi Shou."
Wen Baiyu nodded slightly, and here were all carved with Erzi Chuanzhou, could it be also the handwriting of Taizi Yan?
He thought, using a flashlight to shine inside, and soon saw the stone wall of the cave. The cave was not too deep and had already reached its end. As soon as the flashlight shone in, everyone suddenly discovered that there was actually a coffin inside the cave!
No wonder there's a corpse aura and yin energy, nobody expected that a coffin was hidden here.
Everyone gathered around, the coffin lid was tightly closed. Wan Qi Jing Hou took a look and said: "The seal has been pried open, and the pry marks have been there for a long time."
The lid of the coffin was only loosely closed, without any nails. When General Wan's hand was placed on the lid and he lifted it up with a stretch of his arm, there was a "click" sound, and the lid was instantly opened.
A small gap appeared in the coffin, and everyone's first glance saw that there was a white yak tail inside. However, this yak tail looked extremely tattered, with its white fur almost falling off, and the rod was slightly rotten. Moreover, among the white hairs were some black red things that looked like bloodstains.
Everyone saw the pennant for a moment, showing surprise, and then it wasn't that surprising after all, since they had already seen this thing for the second time.
Wan Qi Jing Hou opened the coffin lid a bit more, and everyone was truly shocked. Wen Bai Yu exclaimed in shock: "Empty?!"
Inside the coffin, apart from a white commander's flag, there were some burial objects. Apart from these, there was nothing else, not even a single bone, let alone a corpse.
Zou Chengyi let out a soft "hiss" and lowered himself a bit, using his flashlight to shine on the body. On it was indeed an inscription, which Zou Chengyi examined closely before saying: "Gongzi Shou."
Wen Baiyu said: "Is this Gongzi Shou's coffin?"
Zou Cheng nodded and said, "It should be, there is an inscription on it, but this coffin has been exposed to the air for a long time, the inscription is blurred and can't be seen clearly, but in general, it can be made out, it's really Gongzi Shou."
Wen Baiyu said: "And what about the corpse? Was it really taken into the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong?"
A coffin was found in the cave, and the coffin was empty. The inscription showed that it was Gongzi Shou, and all these discoveries seemed to further confirm Wan Qi Jinghou's speculation.
However, the key is that the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong is actually where, and there are very few records in historical materials. Moreover, because Wei Xuan Gong killed two sons, he was afraid of the revenge of the ghost of Taizi Pi, so he was particularly careful, and there is no record of the burial site.
Everyone searched around in the cave again and didn't find anything extra, but it can be certain that the yin energy inside the cave is very strong. To have such yin energy, it seems that their cultivation is not shallow.
The crowd immediately retreated from the cave. Wen Baiyu said: "There is no tomb of Wei Xuan Gong on this mountain, where is it hidden?"
He said, relying on his high position, looking around in all directions, but the fog was too thick all around, and he couldn't see clearly.
A burst of flame erupted from Wan Xi Jing Hou's palm, dispersing the mist. The massive flames made everyone feel hot all at once, as if they were about to be roasted. The mist slowly dissipated in the huge flames, and the surroundings suddenly became transparent.
Wen Baiyu suddenly grabbed Wan Jie Jinghou's hand and pulled him to the side, Wan Jie Jinghou was startled, his flame was too big, afraid of burning Wen Baiyu, but Wen Baiyu moved very focused, letting Wan Jie Jinghou disperse the fog on the side.
Wen Baiyu's eyes widened suddenly and he exclaimed: "Look quickly, it's a dragon!"
Everyone immediately looked over, and the terrain where they were was relatively high, so they could see the surrounding woods at a glance. Just now in the woods, it was not clear that the trees in the woods were a bit sparse, with fewer trees in some places and more dense in others, mottled.
Now looking from a high place, it is surprisingly found that the density of trees in the forest is regular.
There are places where trees don't grow at all, and those trees seem to be growing in a way that's avoiding something. In a forest with sparse and withered big trees, an image of a dragon is actually formed in the middle, the soil is yellow, and a large yellow dragon seems to be hidden in this forest.
Everyone looked and Mo Yang exclaimed in surprise: "Is it really a dragon?"
This giant dragon is extremely large, winding its way up, as if it were a golden dragon dancing with its body, the dragon's head held high, even the whiskers are very clear.
Mo Yang sighed and said, "Is this giant dragon really the tomb of Wei Xuan Gong? But how did this forest form? It's been several thousand years since the Spring and Autumn period, and yet the trees have grown in a certain pattern over thousands of years?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou shook his head and said, "I'm afraid there's something very evil buried beneath this land, which is why nothing grows on it, forming a dragon shape."
Wen Baiyu said: "Let's go down and take a look."
Wan Xi Jing Hou extinguished the flames on his hands, and without the flames, those misty vapors seemed to chase after them, quickly gathering back together to envelop Stone Mountain.
Everyone carefully retreated from the mountain of stones and walked towards where the giant dragon was just now.
The giant dragon can only be seen clearly in the sky, after entering the forest, because the dragon is too big, it's impossible to see its shadow.
Wen Baiyu said: "Is it possible that Wei Xuan Gong made his own tomb into the shape of a dragon? This tomb is too winding."
They soon found the giant dragon's lair, but looking at this land, it was just that there were no trees growing, and there was no wild grass on the ground.
Wan Qi Jing Hou took off his backpack, then pulled out a shovel, twisted the metal rod, and started pounding downwards. Mo Yang was also an expert, immediately came over to help, and brought tools over as well.
Others are not experts in this area, but they know that the two people seem to need to hear the sound of metal rods being struck, so they all remain silent and stand on one side watching.
Mo Yang looked a bit frail, but he was very skilled. Peng Siye stood on the side, smiling as he watched Mo Yang strike the shovel, his eyes constantly moving up and down, sizing up Mo Yang's body with an air of fervor.
Mo Yang finally couldn't help it and raised his head to say: "Hand me the remaining sticks."
Peng Siye immediately took out the rod from his backpack and handed it to Mo Yang, then whispered: "Your serious expression is really nice."
Mo Yang caught the rod's movement and paused for a moment, pretending not to have heard, then quickly took over the object and continued to twist it upwards.
The depth of the tomb was unexpected, and it was so deep that they didn't have any explosives to dig it out. It's likely that it would take a week to make progress if they wanted to dig it open.
Wan Qi Jing Hou pulled out the shovel and threw it aside, patted the dirt off his hands and said: "It's too deep, can't get down like this."
"What can we do? We can't really use explosives to blow it up."
Zou Cheng thought for a moment and said, "If Prince Pian really is competing with us to get the fox, I reckon he'd have gone down with his tail between his legs by now. Let's take a look around and see if there's a way down."
If you want to dig it up, it will take too long, and although there is a hollow sound underneath, it's very thick and stuffy, indicating that the tomb wall is also very solid, making it not easy to break through.
Everyone agreed with Zou Chengyi's words and prepared to go around to find out.
They had just walked a few steps when Wen Baiyu said, "I think we don't need to look anymore."
He pointed ahead and suddenly saw a huge pit on the ground in front of him, with scattered earth and stones around it, looking like a mess.
Lowering her head to take a look inside, she saw that it was very deep. Wen Baiyu said: "This is also too exaggerated."
Everyone saw a path and prepared by tying flashlights to their arms before crawling through the cave.
The cave is very large, but it can't stand upright and walk. It must be bent over to enter the earth cave, which extends downward and is a bit steep. The tomb is very deep, as if they need to walk for a while.
Just then, a low growl came from the depths of the pit, the sound was very dull, but it shook people's hearts, surging out from the depths, just like a tide, a huge airflow rushed towards them.
Everyone immediately fell to the ground, and just heard a "rumble..." A light sound, the soil and stones on their heads were shaken down one after another. Wan Qi Jing Hou knocked Wen Bai Yu to the ground, hugged him with his whole body, attached himself to him, and pressed Wen Bai Yu's head into his arms.
Clods of earth fell down, the hole in the ground seemed to be about to collapse from that roar, but the roar only lasted for a moment and then stopped immediately, and the clods of earth on top also stopped falling.
Everyone fell to the ground, got up one after another, shook off the dust on their bodies, and became dusty and dirty.
Wen Baiyu helped Wan Jijinghou brush off the dust on his head and said, "Is that really the dragon's roar?"
Mo Yang was somewhat excited and said: "Is there really a dragon in this tomb? But why does it sound like it's alive?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou said: "Leave."
Everyone brushed off the dirt on their bodies, turned on their flashlights and walked forward quickly. The cave continued to slope downward, and after a long time, everyone finally saw the stone wall.
The stone wall cracked open with a big mouth, and the stones above collapsed. Some of the stones had already broken into several pieces, revealing the dark tomb passage to everyone's eyes.
Everyone rushed into the tomb passage, which was dark inside. When illuminated by a flashlight, it was found that the specifications of this tomb were actually very large. The top of the tomb was covered with a huge dragon-shaped wall carving, and the huge dragon seemed to be lying on the top of the tomb, winding forward, without knowing where the dragon's head was, only seeing the dragon's body with its teeth and claws exposed.
However, this dragon looks like it's not the same species as Wan Zong Jing Hou. This dragon has claws and its scales are smaller. The Candle Dragon doesn't have claws.
On the walls of the tomb passage, many patterns were carved. Wen Baiyu shone his flashlight on them and took a rough look. He immediately knew that they were all songs/merits, among which was carved a man with a very majestic appearance, who should be the owner of the tomb, Wei Xuan Gong.
This song/eulogy is obviously to satisfy the vanity of Duke Xian of Wey, who had almost nothing remarkable in his life, but the tomb path on both sides was densely carved.
"Wen Baiyu said: 'Shall we just follow this dragon and go? The dragon's head should be the main tomb chamber, right?'"
Everyone immediately turned on their flashlights and walked forward in the direction of the dragon's extension. Wen Baiyu said, "You say Xuan Jiang's coffin has become that way, what about Wei Xuan Gong's coffin? Wasn't Wei Xuan Gong the one who ordered the killing of Crown Prince Ji?"
Zou Chengyi smiled and said, "I think Wei Xuan Gong should not have declared war on Jiang, after all, Jiang forced the mother of Crown Prince Ji to death, instigated Wei Xuan Gong to abolish the crown prince, colluded with bandits to kill him, eventually killed the younger brother of Crown Prince Ji, and let Qi Xi Gong force another younger brother to marry his elder sister-in-law."
Wen Baiyu listened to him count like this and thought that this grudge was indeed quite big.
For a dead person, the most that can be done is to mutilate the corpse and then expose the coffin.
As people walked forward, this tomb was much more magnificent than Xuan Jiang's tomb. After all, Xuan Jiang was a woman, while Wei Xuan Gong was the lord of a country, with many privileges that allowed him to enjoy wealth and glory even after death.
However, Wei Xuan Gong may not have thought that after he died, Xuan Jiang took advantage of her power and actually took away all the dragon eye and Jianmu fragments that were buried with him. It seems that this Xuan Jiang is quite knowledgeable about goods.
The crowd walked for a while, and the path to the tomb was very winding because the golden dragon was dancing, so the path was not straight. The crowd walked along the path while looking up at the sky.
Mo Yang said: "Where have we ended up?"
Wen Baiyu said: "Should be the position of Longzhizi?"
He said, while shining his flashlight on Wan Jie Jing Hou's abdomen, as if comparing something. Wan Jie Jing Hou couldn't help but laugh and say, "This golden dragon is not of the same clan as me."
After walking for a long time, the crowd finally discovered the first tomb chamber. Mo Yang was somewhat impatient, as there were many signs of dragons here, and he heard roars again. It's possible that dragons really exist, so wouldn't they be able to find things to save Peng Siye?
Mo Yang had just stepped into the tomb chamber when he suddenly widened his eyes and let out a sharp intake of breath.
The crowd immediately followed up and was frightened at a glance.
The tomb is very large, with dense nails on the walls of all four sides staring at many corpses. Those corpses have all rotted away, and the bones are pierced in a very learned manner. Even if only the skeleton remains, it can still be nailed to the wall.
Wan Qi Jing Hou said faintly: "It's a burial companion."
Mo Yang had not seen many battles, but it was the first time he saw so many bodies nailed to the wall of a tomb, and there were so many of them. In one burial chamber, the four walls were densely packed with corpses, one next to another, at least fifty of them.
In the center of the tomb, a jade table was placed, exquisitely carved into the shape of a dragon. The dragon's head was raised, with many burial objects on its back, and in its mouth it held a golden box.
Everyone walked over to take a look, the golden box was very exquisite, and there were many burial objects next to it, but this one was particularly special, being held in the dragon's mouth, indicating that it must be a treasure.
Mo Yang looked around the dragon head and said, "There is a mechanism in the dragon's mouth. If we take out the box rashly, I'm afraid there will be crossbow arrows shooting out with it."
"What's the way to get it out?"
Mo Yang took a closer look at the dragon head and said, "This is an ingenious mechanism. If we want to dismantle it, I estimate that it will take some time."
"How long?" said Wen Baiyu.
Mo Yang said: "If everything goes smoothly, ten minutes."
He said, and then took out a peach wood needle from his sleeve, ready to dismantle the dragon head of this jade carving.
Wan Xi Jing Hou raised his hand to stop him and said, "No need to bother, we don't have enough time."
He said, suddenly stretched out his hand to grab the golden box, in the midst of the crowd's sudden gasp, Wan Qi Jing Hou exerted force, "Ka" sound, and pulled out the golden box. At the same time, a crossbow arrow "whooshed" out.
In a flash of lightning, the other hand of Wan Xi Jing Hou had already pinched it, and with an extremely light movement, he pinched the arrow that was shot out in his hand.
Everyone was stunned for a second before letting out a deep sigh of relief.
Wan Kui Jing Hou's face remained unchanged, he placed the golden box on the dragon case, then threw away the crossbow/arrows in his hand.
Mo Yang studied the golden box again and found that it had a lock on it, surprisingly it was a combination lock, which didn't require a key, just like modern password locks.
Mo Yang smiled after studying it and said, "I can open this."
He picked it up, put it to his ear, twisted the lock while listening carefully, and heard a few "clicks". When he twisted it for the fifth time, Mo Yang suddenly straightened up and said, "Okay."
He said, and then twisted it again, the golden box's lock suddenly popped open, revealing what was inside.
It was a dark and shiny thing, somewhat like a stone, looking like it had been wind-dried. As soon as the golden box was opened, everyone suddenly smelled a strong bitter smell.
He just took a sip, and the bitter taste seemed to enter his mouth directly through his nose. Wen Baiyu's Adam's apple rolled up instantly, and he involuntarily curled up his tongue/head, covering his mouth with a bitter expression and retching twice, saying: "What is this thing, so bitter."
Everyone covered their noses, the smell was too bitter. They had thought that the spicy flavor could stimulate physiological tears, but for the first time they experienced that a bitter taste could also stimulate physiological tears, and everyone's eyes were sour from the bitterness.
Zou Cheng blinked, and two tears instantly flowed down. He hurriedly wiped them away with his hand, but couldn't stop them. His golden eyes were moistened by the tears, making them even brighter, as if a golden light was flowing inside.
Yi Feng immediately propped up the wheelchair and put Zou Chengyi on it, then took out a tissue to wipe away his tears, smiling and saying: "Young master, don't cry."
Zou Chengyi glared at Yi Feng fiercely, but Yi Feng's expression was clearly teasing himself. Zou Chengyi didn't want to cry, but he couldn't hold it back. Tears poured out like a dam breaking, and his eyes became red and swollen in just a few seconds.
Zou Chengyi himself was slender, with a red eye circle, and his eyes were full of tears, looking quite pitiful.
Wen Bai Yu looked at him in surprise and asked: "Are you okay?"
Wen Baiyu thought to herself that she was just about to throw up from the bitterness, but she didn't expect Zou Chengyi's reaction to be even bigger than hers. He actually cried out in bitterness? And he looked so pitiful while crying too?
Zou Chengyi couldn't stop crying and kept wiping his eyes until they were swollen.
Wan Qi Jing Hou took a look at that black and shiny thing like charcoal, and immediately said: "This might be the Long Dan you guys are looking for."
Mo Yang was the first to exclaim in surprise: "Long Dan? Is it really Long Dan?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou nodded and said: "This Long Dan should be from the same Golden Dragon as Zou Cheng Yi's Long Yan, so the reaction is very big."
Wen Baiyu said: "Isn't this dragon already dismembered? With its eyes and gall, how can it still be called a dragon? Are there several dragons in the tomb?"
Wan Xi Jing Hou shook his head, indicating that he also didn't know. Dragons had always been things that could be encountered but not sought out, and they carried a strong aura of divinity. Wen Bai Yu, although being a Hong Huang, had only seen this one dragon, Wan Xi Jing Hou.
Even if Wei Xuan Gong really caught a dragon to guard the tomb, it's impossible to catch dozens of them. After all, catching one is not easy.
Mo Yang listened to Wan Qi Jing Hou say it was Long Dan, and immediately became excited, his eyebrows were all dyed with joy, the whole person looked spirited. Peng Si Ye had never seen Mo Yang so happy before, he had never seen Mo Yang smile like this since he knew him, after all, their initial matters were not happy, Mo Yang had always lived in the shadows.
Peng Siye was momentarily stunned, and he also knew that Moyang cared about him. Otherwise, why would he be so happy to get Longdan? However, Moyang still had a knot in his heart, which needed to be slowly ground away. Peng Siye also knew that such things couldn't be rushed, the key was that before he didn't have time, but now that he really had Longdan, time was no longer an issue.
Mo Yang said: "How do you eat this thing, just eat it directly?"
Peng Siye's face scrunched up as soon as he heard it and said: "It smells so bitter, are you supposed to eat this thing directly?"
Wen Baiyu smiled and said: "Or would you like me to stir-fry some chili peppers for you? Or do you want to eat them with canned beef?"
Peng Siye: "......"
Wan Qi Jing Hou said: "This Long Dan can't be eaten directly, no matter what dragon it is, the yang energy is too strong. If Peng Si Ye eats it directly, I'm afraid his internal organs will be burned."
"What's it like to eat?"
Wan Qi Jing Hou said, "Aren't there still two Wu Mu Guo seeds? Grind them into a fine powder and mix with some slightly cold spring water to take together. This will moderate the yang energy of Long Dan Cao."
Peng Siye heard this and immediately let out a sigh of relief, allowing him to eat something so bitter and ugly in the tomb, he really wasn't prepared at the moment.
Mo Yang was somewhat anxious, but Long Dan's yang energy was abundant, which he knew. It's likely that it would be a loss if it really turned out to be like what Wan Kuang Jing Hou said.
Zou Chengyi cried so much that his eyes turned into walnuts, and they were so swollen that he looked pitiful. He didn't even need to use a handkerchief to wipe away his tears; instead, he used the back of his hand, which became wet, as did his sleeve cuffs. He hastily said, "Quickly cover the box, it's too bitter."
Everyone saw Zou Chengyi looking so pitiful, and they quickly covered the box, but the bitter smell still lingered in the air. Zou Chengyi's tears couldn't stop for a while, and Yi Feng saw that his face was all red from rubbing his eyes. He stopped Zou Chengyi from rubbing his eyes wildly and gently helped him wipe them instead.
The tomb was relatively airtight, and the bitter smell couldn't dissipate for a while. Zou Chengyi let Yi Feng push him forward, just as they were about to leave, his eyes swept across the tomb wall, and he suddenly said, "Wait."
As soon as he spoke, everyone stopped and looked at him. Zhou Cheng's eyes were red from crying, his voice shaking slightly as he said, "There is one less corpse on the other side of the grave wall."
Everyone immediately looked over and saw that the tomb wall, which was previously densely packed with corpses, had a vacant spot on it. There were nail marks on it, but the white skeleton had disappeared!
Everyone immediately became alert and looked around in all directions.
Wan Qi Jing Hou frowned and said: "Quickly put away the Longdan, the yang energy of Longdan is too strong, the zongzi has come to life."
Wen Baiyu didn't think that he had already become a white skeleton like that, yet he could still revive, what kind of powerful yang energy did this Longdan possess?
Mo Yang hastily stretched out his hand and pressed the gold box with a "slap" sound. Just as he was about to pick up the gold box and put it in his backpack, he suddenly saw a bony hand pressing down on his own hand.
Mo Yang was startled and immediately withdrew his hand, the bony fingers of Bai Gu's hand "swished" and left three bloody marks on Mo Yang's hand, the skin and flesh were instantly turned over, and the wound was deep enough to see the bone.
Mo Yang took a deep breath, raised his head and suddenly met the gaze of a skull. The skull emerged from under the dragon case, without eyeballs, using two empty eye sockets to stare at Mo Yang.
An accident suddenly occurred, and Moyang was injured. He subconsciously withdrew his hand, seeing the white bone grasping the golden box. Moyang immediately stretched out his hand again, with the tip of the peach wood needle quickly protruding, sweeping horizontally to snatch the golden box.
Mo Yang's peach wood needle had the ability to drive out evil spirits, although it was very small, but the white bones were also afraid of this thing, and immediately retreated, taking two steps back.
Mo Yang tightly hugged the golden box and took a few steps back.
Peng Siye immediately rushed over, but instead of looking at the golden box, he grabbed Mo Yang's hand and said: "You're crazy, you're injured and still trying to grab it!"
Only Mo Yang's hand was seen with three blood marks on the back, one of which was very long and extended to his fingers, also cutting a small wound on his fingernail.
Mo Yang didn't have time to speak, and although Bai Gu was afraid of the peach wood needle, he stared at the Long Dan box, apparently it was a treasure.
Bai Gu immediately crawled out again, his movements extremely agile. Mo Yang pushed Peng Siye, who immediately rolled to the ground and quickly fired two shots. "Bang bang" - one shot hit Bai Gu's head, instantly piercing a hole in his skull.
However, the white skeleton seemed to be unafraid of bullets, only falling to the ground, but quickly got back up.
Wan Xi Jing Hou narrowed his eyes and immediately said: "Throw the box over."
Mo Yang didn't hesitate, stretched out his hand and threw the box at Wan Qi Jing Hou.
Bai Gu simultaneously jumped up and rushed over to grab the golden box, but Wan Kuang Jing Hou didn't intend to hand it over. He rushed forward, grabbed Bai Gu's arm with one hand, and immediately followed up with a flick of his wrist, violently slamming Bai Gu to the ground.
Just then, a loud "boom" shook the tomb, causing cracks in the floor tiles. The white bones were smashed to the ground and scattered all over.
At the same time, the golden box also fell to the ground with a thud. The lid of the box came off immediately, and a strong bitter smell wafted out from inside again.
Zou Chengyi finally managed to hold back his tears, but suddenly burst out crying again, staring at the golden box with a sense of helplessness.
Wen Baiyu quickly picked up the golden box and closed the lid, fearing that the Longdan inside would provoke other white bones to rise again.
The white bones scattered half away, still struggling to get up, stretched out his hand to grab Wan Jie Jing Hou, Wan Jie Jing Hou did not dodge, grabbed the palm of the hand holding the white bone arm suddenly burst into a flame, just heard "hiss" sound, a huge flame instantly ignited, the white bones were burned into ashes in an instant, falling to the ground.
Everyone involuntarily let out a sigh of relief, Wen Baiyu closed the box tightly and handed it to Mo Yang. Mo Yang examined it carefully before putting it in his backpack, patted it with his hand, as if confirming that it was properly stored.
Peng Siye saw that Moyang's injury was severe, so he immediately took out hemostatic medicine and gauze to bandage Moyang's hand, wrapping it into a small bundle.
Mo Yang looked at his own hand and said: "This way I still can't use a needle, my fingers can't even bend."
"Your wound is so deep on your hand, you can't bend it for a short time, or it will crack open."
Many people entered the tomb for a short time and got Longdan. Although they encountered a zombie-like white bone, their spirits were also lifted.
Everyone came out of the tomb and continued to walk forward along the direction of the dragon, and soon they saw a large stone gate half open, and everyone walked in.
Behind the gate is also a tomb passage, which is connected to the previous tomb passage. The dragon-shaped carvings on the top continue to extend.
Wen Baiyu raised his flashlight and shone it on the top of the tomb, and for some reason, the dragon on top had turned golden. The giant dragon's scales reflected the light, making Wen Baiyu's eyes ache.
Just then, Wen Baiyu's flashlight suddenly went out.
The golden dragon on his head also disappeared in an instant, everything fell into darkness, Wen Baiyu's eyes took a moment to adapt to the darkness, but Hong Tu's vision allowed him to quickly adapt and hastily looked around.
The commotion around him made him feel that something was off, his flashlight suddenly dimmed for a moment, but there were still many people around him, and it was impossible for everyone's flashlights to dim at the same time.
Wen Baiyu hastily scanned the surroundings, but strangely, there was not a single figure around. Wen Baiyu stood alone in the empty graveyard path, and the others had suddenly vanished.
Wen Baiyu turned around in a circle on the spot, took a few steps forward with some anxiety, and still didn't see anyone around. He shook his flashlight again, but it still wouldn't light up.
At this moment, Wen Baiyu suddenly saw that there was something lying across the tomb path in front of her. She quickly ran over and found a corpse on the ground, covered in blood, twisted and fallen to the ground.
Wen Baiyu's heart skipped a beat as the person covered in blood turned out to be Mo Yang. Mo Yang's eyes were tightly closed, his face was deathly pale, and he wasn't breathing at all. Wen Baiyu felt for his pulse on his neck, but there was none, causing her hand to tremble momentarily.
Wen Baiyu was somewhat unbelievable, and when he looked up, he found another corpse, not far from him, it was Peng Siye.
Peng Siye was also covered in blood, his body even felt icy cold. Wen Baiyu was startled and stood in the tomb passage in a daze, unsure how things had suddenly turned out this way.
What about Zou Chengyi, Yi Feng and Wan Kui Jinghou? Where did they go?
Wen Baiyu stood up, her body swaying slightly, and was tripped by something and fell to the ground. She got up and took a look, and it turned out to be another corpse. The person lying on the ground was wearing all black clothes, covered in blood, with their eyes tightly closed, exuding an aura of death.
It's actually Wan Gui Jing Hou!
Wen Baiyu's heart tightened, her hands trembling slightly as she suddenly knelt down and lifted up Wang Jingshou's head. However, Wang Jingshou was completely lifeless, his entire body icy cold, just like when they first met, his body temperature like a block of ice.
Wen Baiyu suddenly panicked, tightly hugging Wan Kuang Jinghou, her heart racing wildly, a dizzy and nauseous feeling surged up, her mind buzzing with a loud "humming" sound.
He touched a handful of blood, and his heart was shocked.
Wen Bai's mind was initially a blur, but he suddenly jolted awake and immediately wanted to pull out the phoenix bone dagger. However, after searching his body, he couldn't find it anywhere. The flashlight that had been thrown aside earlier was also gone.
Wen Bai's mind was buzzing with a strange noise, she took a deep breath and looked at Wan Qi Jing Hou on the ground, a weird feeling crept up.
Wan Kuang's body was covered in blood, he wasn't breathing, but there were no wounds on him, not a single external injury, nor any signs of poisoning, so how did he lose so much blood?
Wen Baiyu looked at her own hands, then glanced at Wan Kuang Jinghou on the ground. She took two deep breaths and slowly calmed down. Amidst her breathing, she caught a faint scent that smelled like sandalwood with a hint of sea salt.
It's an illusion...
Wen Baiyu calmed herself down, and immediately felt a dizziness in her head, weakness throughout her body, and fell into darkness.
Wen Baiyu lay in the dark tomb passage, suddenly opening her eyes, a pair of eyes like rubies, bursting out with flames-like radiance.
Wen Baiyu suddenly opened his eyes, and in an instant, he saw a magnified face. The face was exceptionally pale, with purple lips, and although the facial features were delicate, they were filled with a strong aura of death and intense corpse energy.
That face seemed to have been startled by Wen Baiyu's sudden wake-up and immediately shrank back, hiding in the dark.
Wen Baiyu felt that face was somewhat familiar, but couldn't resist his drowsiness and closed his eyes again, falling into a doze.
"White feather?"
"White feather?"
Wen Baiyu heard someone calling him, his body was very tired, he didn't know why but just wanted to sleep, however the voice in his ear kept calling him over and over again.
Wen Baiyu struggled to open her eyes, and the first thing she saw was Wan Jingshou, and she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
Wan Xi Jing Hou held Wen Bai Yu, seeing him open his eyes, he immediately let out a sigh of relief, but Wen Bai Yu's eyes were actually red, and he didn't know what had happened to him.
Wen Baiyu supported her tired body and looked around to find that everyone was there, not a single one missing. She let out a deep sigh.
As soon as the crowd passed through the stone gate, Wan Xi Jing Hou immediately noticed that behind the stone gate, there was a faint fragrance, which was unfamiliar to everyone. It seemed like the scent of sandalwood, but it wasn't just ordinary sandalwood - it was dragon saliva fragrance. Dragon saliva fragrance isn't a panacea, it can only relieve fatigue, but the fragrance actually contained some stagnant things mixed in.
Everyone who smelled the strange fragrance immediately became alert, covering their mouths and noses. However, they didn't know what happened to Wen Baiyu, as if she suddenly lost her senses. First, she went to sweep the tomb, seemingly unable to hear others speaking, then quickly ran deep into the tomb passage.
Wen Baiyu didn't run very far, but when the crowd caught up, they saw a black shadow flash by and hide in the darkness of the tomb path. Wen Baiyu lay on the ground, his breathing somewhat unstable.
Because the amount of fragrance inhaled was very small, others had nothing to do with it, and seeing Wen Baiyu being fine also let out a sigh of relief.
Wan Xi Jing Hou tightly hugged him, reached out and touched his pulse, and couldn't help but frown slightly.
"What's wrong with him?" said Zou Chengyi.
Wan Xi Jing Hou said: "Bai Yu's spiritual power is a bit weak."
The wind came over and said, "Let me take a look for you."
He slowed down, reached out and pressed his hand on Wen Baiyu's wrist. Wen Baiyu felt a little weak all over, her breathing was heavier, leaning into Wan Qi Jing Hou's arms, she only felt like sleeping.
He frowned at first, then burst out laughing.
Wan Kuang Jing Hou looked at him with an unpleasant expression. Zou Cheng Yi said, "What do you see that's so funny? How can you still smile?"
Yi Feng stood up and said, "I'm not too familiar with medicine either, I only know a little bit, but roughly I can guess why only Wen Baiyu was affected by the Dragon's Elixir, and also why Wen Baiyu's spiritual power has fluctuated."
Yi Feng deliberately sold a pass, Wan Zhi Jing Hou worried about Wen Bai Yu, his face was even worse. Zou Cheng Yi feared that Wan Zhi Jing Hou would go crazy again, and at that time who could hold it back, so he said: "You know, just say it quickly."
"Alas, I can hear that Zou Chengyi is speaking out of concern for himself. I couldn't help but laugh and said to Wan Kui Jinghou: 'Don't worry, once you know the truth, you'll only thank me.'"
Wan Xi Jing Hou said faintly: "After all, why."
