Suspicion

Rosa personally tacted Norris inf him about the current situation. However, evidence was o firm their suspi whiorris helped gather them. He pced security cameras around the bakery and had prepared a surveilnce area.

“That’s about it, I’ll e bad check,” said Norris. “You also go check if you want to.”

With the installment of the cameras, they would surely get some eviden who the stalker was. Noelia would check security cameras everytime he is on break. He made sure all details were not unchecked. Even during te nights, he would stay up to check the cameras.

“That’s unusual…” Noelia mumbled. He thought, “The stalker usually appears before there are cameras… Could it be… No! I’m sure they couldn’t!”

Noelia noticed a flickage, it was something bck ,and he immediately suspected the individual. He rushed out just to see a pile of bck pstic. He retreated inside disappointed auro the surveilnce area.

He rewound the footage, his eyes carefully iing. “Is the individual toying with me?” he muttered.

Rosa suddenly opehe door and asked Noelia why he was still on the cameras. He looked at the clod realized how long he spent. Rosa stopped him and ordered him to rest, there was no point for him to work because the bakery had already closed.

The m sunlight crept over the horizon, casting a warm hue over the bakery. The aroma of freshly baked bread hovered and the eic smell of caffeine from the coffee gave a art for the m. Noelia climbed dowairs with a heavy mind from the previous session.

“You look terrible,” said Rosa, crossing her arms.

  “Thanks, just what I o hear,” Noelia replied with a tired smile. Eye bags were visible from his fabsp;

Instead of the bright sunshine, Noelia was shocked to see a note hanging on the window. He went outside and picked it up. He was more frightened as it was written with blood. The letter stated; “Think you’ll stop me?”. He froze as he held the note, he turhe paper over, but nothing was there.

Noelia noticed a particur paper on the floor, he went to pick it up and it was another his time it said ; “I’m ing for you!”. Does it mean that the individual is ing? Or it was only just a threat.

“What is that?” said Rosa who followed him.

Rosa took a gnd was horrified too with the blood smeared note. Noelia ran to check the cameras to see any footage. It was quite unclear, the individual seemed to keep moving cloaking in the shadows. Some of the footage showed the individual to be deliberately precise with their movements making it hard to spot them. All of them seemed uable as it differs from other footage.

Noelia gulped and muttered, “This is bad…”

Things might escate, Noelia suggested calling Norris. It had gotten serious and some measures o be taken. The bakery increased its security, police disguised in civilian clothing were pced around the area day and night.

“Thank you for ing, Norris!” said Rosa. “Sorry, we couldn’t provide you a room.”

“It’s fine, sometimes Elena makes me sleep on the couch,” said Norris.

Norris entered Noelia’s room to see him on the cameras. “You’re not w?” Norris asked.

Noelia turned bad said, “Oh, Norris. I didn’t see you there.”

“I’ll take charge of surveilnow, you go work,” said Norris.

“Well thanks,” Noelia thahen he went downstairs.

No suspiovements were detected for the past hours. Norris watched each camera closely, not wanting to miss aails. Norris thought it would be best if he stayed for a while. It had turned into a game of patieo see who would waver.“A game of time and patience, huh?” Norris muttered. “Ty that.”

Noelia’s mind couldn’t shake off the o be alert. Not cheg on the surveilnce made him feel tense. What if he missed the ow, what if they got ahead of him, was this part of their pn, loy are they plotting? He became overwhelmed with all his questions and the possibilities. His shoulders started to unrexed, his breath shakened and his body sweat in ay.

“Noelia?” Rosa called, tapping his shoulder making him startled. “Are you okay?”

“I-I should go che the cameras,” said Noelia tensely.

Rosa grabbed his arm and said, “Let Norris do it, your eyes are going to hurt if you keep staring at those ss.

“Why not calm yourself with baking? The smell of fresh bread could ease your mind,”

  “Alright, ma,” Noelia agreed.

As when it seemed that there were no movements, a shadowy figure was caught. Norris looked closer and suspected it was the individual. He rushed outside immediately to check, he went around the area where he saw them but nothing was found. Norris assumed that they were pying triaybe they might be pnning something.
