A day has passed since the whole 3rd book fiasco yesterday, and things seem to be back to normal. 3rd book had no signs of waking up though like it was just a cold block of ice. 1st, 2nd, and 4th books were raving about why they couldn’t evolve and that it was unfair, and still kept bitching about it like total sore losers, and Record and the 4 timid books were all waiting for Sung Kang. Cocoa was just enjoying her Hot cocoa, which was still hot because Sung Kang kept heating it up for her. Her Hot Cocoa bottle has still a lot of liquid in it, she was savoring every last drop of that Hot Cocoa, not knowing it was her last until Sung Kang finds a substitute for Kakao pods then he could make a better version of his already perfect recipe. Sung Kang then got on his way to explore with the books, venturing north deeper into Ming’s Forest. Past the mass grave of animals, the oceans of blood, and mountains of bones and skin to a new area. Where the already blood-red leaves were getting darker and darker in color, giant volcano ash-black barked trees that were hundreds of meters tall and wide in diameter, giant boulders with different mixes and flavors of colors that looked like granite were commonplace here, lots of precious stones, spirit crystals, and the blood-red moss grow on them. The giant blacked barked trees with blood-red leaves kept getting bigger and bigger the deeper Sung Kang ventured deeper into the forest. The trees at first were 20 meters high, which was already huge, But then the deeper in he went it was now 30 meters, then 50, then 100 meters, 150 meters, 300 meters. The sizes of the trees were no joke now, there may be stronger predators lurking about each tree Sung Kang is passing by right now. But there was no predator or even any prey in sight. It was strange, it was like something was keeping them from jumping to Sung Kang and ripping him to shreds. It was about 2.5 hours since Sung Kang left the apartment complex in a straight line. The trees were now about 500 meters high, they were so tall now that it was reaching the clouds. Sung Kang was able to collect many things along the way as well.

  It was a giant haul, just in 2 hours Sung Kang already had this much. 5 out of 250 bag pockets were chock full of resources, and Sung Kang was satisfied with this amount. It won’t be even longer before he could get fruits, and maybe his long-awaited juice made from the alien fruits from Ming’s forest. He kept going deeper and deeper into the forest, the trees were now at godly heights.

  1000 meters, 2000 meters, 5000 meters, the trees kept getting bigger it wasn’t even a joke anymore.

  There were also no animals or any beasts, hostile or non-hostile that came in Sung Kang’s way, it was weird. Like something was making them not touch or go near Sung Kang at all. It was now about 10 hours of just walking in a straight line, and it was now getting dark. Sung Kang had to find shelter immediately, he then went inside a large hole of the 10,000-meter-sized behemoth of a chaos tree, just under its roots, and set camp there. Sung Kang then cooked dinner and ate his last ration of canned goods and then slept. Cocoa was poking at Sung Kang’s face at an inhuman speed. It wasn’t painful for Sung Kang but it was annoying as hell so he got up immediately with a somewhat pissed face, but since he was emotionless from the inside and out there was just his plain old expression. But the killing intent Sung Kang was leaking out was insane, even making the already black chaos tree wither a bit.

  “What?” asked Sung Kang.

  In front of Sung Kang, there was a giant lump of fluffy fur that was in front of him. Sung Kang then realized that It was a really fat giant panda that was doing a dogeza in front of him. This was quite a wake-up call for Sung Kang.

  This was getting weirder by the day.
