“The continent is in chaos, my lord. It is now the time to push through with our plan.” The mysterious figure standing on the balcony of the kings chambers wed shrouded by the lightless night sky of the new moon. Only two things could be told about this person. Based on their voice, they were male, and based on the height, even slouched, this was no human that the king was speaking to.
”Fantastic. Tell the Noble Lords who helped that our plan is going on without a hitch.” The king wanted control for himself over the central regions of the continent. Only to be thwarted by the opposing kings on the other side.
The mysterious figure left, not leaving a trace of their presence behind them as they elegantly leaped off the building, disappearing from view.
The swift and agile figure moved through the city weaving around and dodging the guard’s sights as not to disturb the city any more than had been from the events of the previous nights.

From the rooftops however, loomed another figure, unnoticed by the first. Much quicker than him too.
When the first figure reached the southern gates, which had just so happened to have been left open by the guards under the order of the king, the second took the chance to strike. Right before going into the lantern lit roadway, the chasing figure kept at the first tackling him to the ground.
”Ughh, it’s you freaks again.” Said the first figure.
”You really don’t expect to be able to get away from us do you?”
“I guess you’re right. You cheetah-kin are some of the fastest around.”
“And I thought that Wolf-kin were supposed to have an incredibly strong sense of smell.”
“What do you want.”
“I want information. Now. Name your price.”
”you don’t possibly have what it takes to offer me anything.”
The cheetah-kin didn’t respond, rather grabbed a sack of thirty gold coins from their belt.
“I-I mean… I guess I could tell you. B-but you have to let me go in the end.”
