  (ALEX POV)

  It’s a nice summer day (or at least, by Alberta-standards) and Tony and I are in my room with the windows open and we can feel the edge of some sunshine and hear birds making sounds.

  We’re just laying on my bed, snuggling each other.

  At first we were only cuddling but at some point I think I started kissing him and then he started kissing back (or it was the other way around- it was hard to tell).

  We’re not making out. Or at least, I don’t think that’s what this is.

  When I hear the term “making out” I think of frantic grabbing and desperate grinding and aggressive gasps and loud lip smacking sounds. It’s like sex but without the sex.

  We’re not doing that right now.

  We’re just holding each other and gently kissing each other wherever.

  It’s very sweet.

  We’re kinda just taking turns. He gives me a few then I give him a few and it continues.

  I’m in a state of pure bliss being kissed by Colton.

  Not many people get to date the definition of a golden retriever type guy, and even less people get to date their childhood friend.

  I mean we kept being led elsewhere and moved around and changed as people. And yet somehow, we just kept running into each other.

  And now we are here.

  It’s been months and I could not be happier.

  I titter a little as Tony kisses my forehead.

  He runs his hand through my hair and sighs, just looking at me as I look at him.

  Seeming very relaxed, Tony gazes at me with a charming lopsided grin.

  His voice comes out low. “You’re just gonna giggle every time I kiss you?”

  At first I worry that he’s annoyed, but then I notice his face is getting a little red.

  As he kisses my cheek a few times, I let myself laugh a little at the possibility he finds something so random about me cute in any way.

  He suddenly kisses my mouth, probably thinking that would stop my unintentional little giggles, but then I stupidly smile and laugh into the kiss.

  I feel a bit embarrassed since my reactions are completely involuntary, and Tony pulls back and looks away from me briefly.

  The blonde puts a hand to his head as his face heats up again.

  His voice sounds a little rough as he lets out a hushed: “Now you’re giggling into my mouth?!”

  I slip my head under his and snuggle him as I repress more laughter. “I’m sorry.”

  He squishes his face against the side of my head as his muffled voice whines, “Don’t apologize!”

  I let out a small scoff before I murmur by his ear: “My Love, you know how I feel about you whining…”

  I caress his face, my eyes locked on him.
