Important note! This is the second book of the series because I'm currently reworking the first one. That being said, we get thrown stright into action without introduction, but it's a separate story that can be read without knowing the first part - at least I tried to make it that way lol
I've thought a little about the agency's location, fractions within, and the building's yout, as these were the things I've completely ignored in the first book (Or desribed them very superficially) I realized trying to fit those kind of description between ongoing plot and dialogues would be a pain in the ass, and other than that, probably boring to most (including me). So instead I decided to make a basic visual and quick expnation which should help understand what's going on.
First things first: Ranks
(From highest to lowest)
Command/Council, consisting of:
- Commander
- Chief
- Director
- General
Colonel
Major
Lieutenant
Sergeant
Agent
Recruit
When it comes to fractions, we can divide them into 5 main groups:
Control: logistic department, cybersecurity, security, administrationCommand (or so called Council): Commanders, Chiefs, Directors, GeneralsActive operators: includes divisions; Rapid Response team, Specter, Brigade Combat Team In-training: recruits
Location:
Nearby the city, thus they had to come up with some stupid cover. The text in front of the gates - "Special Forces Training. DO NOT TRESPASS". The building is separated from the road by a huge parking lot and a fairly rge green area.
Floor -1
It mainly serves as a bunker in case of emergency and storage for weapons.
Floor 0
The pce filled with recruits. If someone random were to somehow pass the security and walk into the building, it would really appear to be some sort of military training base. Cafeteria, barracks, but first of all, the overwhelming stench of sweat.
When it comes to barracks: 10 recruits per room.
I do hope they shower.
Floor 1
The higher we get, the more imporants personas we meet. Here, special rooms for boring paperwork, offices, and agents' quarters.
Floor 2
Seems to be owned exclusively by the command. The conference room is sacred - no one except high ranks knows what happens behind these doors.
Rooftop
Has a helipad and... that's about it. Favourite Bke's pce for a smoke and brooding.
