Dear diary. Yesterday, I found out that my lady reads my diary. I also found out that our child doesn't like me half of the time because I don't have mana. Today, I plan on exploring the area of my new home! Maybe I can find a nice lake for Toanleri to splash around in? But...I don't have any swimwear to join her in splashing around. Perhaps I can go buy some later for my lady and myself? Oh, and yesterday was my nineteenth birthday! Wait...I didn't celebrate my birthday! Emerome closed her diary.
"Thank you, Emerome." Raphtalia took the diary from Emerome's hands. After reading the second sentence, Raphtalia closed the diary with a scowl. "Emerome Pasvoranii..." Raphtalia called out with a stern tone. "Y-yes? My lady?" Emerome held her hands in front of her legs. "I told you to call me something other than 'My lady'. Until you can refer to me as something closer to being your wife, you will be outside thinking about what you did." Raphtalia pouted. "I'm sorry, my lady." Emerome bowed.
Hearing her words, Emerome began to sweat, refusing to rise from a bowing position. "Go, face your punishment for hurting my heart. Think about what you did." Raphtalia dismissed Emerome. "Ri-right away." Emerome left the bedroom. Well...I wanted to explore our surrounding area. But not like this! What can I even call my lad...my wife? My wife sounds too possessive. My darling? No, it doesn't sound right coming from me. My honey? No, sounds too childish. My love? Yeah, my love sounds better. Emerome looked around the house, hearing Toanleri chirping.
"Yes, girl?" Emerome walked over to Toanleri. Toanleri nudged Emerome, her eyes saddening. Does she think that my love and I are fighting? Emerome stroked Toanleri's cheek. "Are you worried about your mommies?" Emerome asked. Toanleri nodded, chirping softly. "Don't worry, Toanleri. My love and I aren't fighting. My love just didn't like me calling her my lady since we're married now." Emerome explained. Toanleri chirped happily, licking Emerome's face. "Toanleri, do you want to explore our area with me?" Emerome giggled.

Toanleri flapped her wings, chirping happily. "Let's go check out the forest," Emerome suggested. Toanleri stood up on her hind legs, walking over to the forest. I haven't seen a dragon that primarily walks on their hind legs. Then again, her entire upperbody is humanoid. Emerome walked ahead of Toanleri. Toanleri wrapped Emerome up in her tail. "Do you not want me to go ahead of you?" Emerome asked. Toanleri chirped, her second set of eyes staring at Emerome.
Toanleri sniffed around as she walked through the forest, keeping her wings above the trees. After a while of exploring, the two found a flower meadow with a lake in the middle of it. "We found a place to bathe you, girl." Emerome patted Toanleri's tail. Toanleri lowered Emerome to the ground, unwrapping her tail from Emerome. Walking to the lake, Toanleri began drinking the lake water. Going further into the lake, splashing around, and diving into the lake repeatedly. "Aw, are you playing?" Emerome took off her shoes, sticking her feet into the water.
Toanleri chirped, moving over to Emerome. Toanleri nudged Emerome repeatedly, pushing her feathered hair to Emerome with each nudge. "Do you want me to wash you, girl?" Emerome asked. Toanleri chirped happily. Emerome scrubbed Toanleri's feathered hair, wings, and fur, while Toanleri rubbed her face with the lake water. After a while, Toanleri jerked her head back from Emerome. She wants my love's mana. Hopefully, she can grow out of it when she's older. She is only two days old. Emerome slipped her shoes back on. Toanleri wrapped Emerome in her tail, making her way back to the home.
