We opt in to the main street, then take a left and go straight, but both of us stop, surprised that the street was almost empty. There was a creature with wings a couple of meters above the ground staring down on us.
"I didn't know the devil himself would come and visit us!" I whispered to Tinker.
She pushed down her googles and looked at the creature.
"That is not the devil; it is blank beneath and the shape of the creature in a spectacular body. I don't know, I have heard about the jailors in hell on how perfect they are, but I highly doubt they would come all the way here if they don't have to take a soul." She said, looked at me, and took three steps away.
"What, why did you move away from me?"
She played with her eyes and whispered:
"If you have not noticed yet, it only stares at you. It has come to collect your soul. Did you do anything horrible before arriving at the train?"
I turned to the creature that kept staring at me. Doesn't it ever blink?
I took a couple of steps away from Tinker and noticed the eyes followed me. Crap, now I have to deal with this, and I haven't even managed to reach the woods.
"Tinker! You go on the right side of the street, and I will lead on the left, since it looks like the focus is on me. Bomb the crap out of every creature you see to clear the road ahead, maybe not Torfudge's family, but in this situation, we don't even know what they look like. He should have tried bringing a family photo or something, damn kid. GO!"
I moved all the way close to the left building and ran, glancing at Tinker, who unpinned a grenade and threw it in the middle, and the creature flew down towards me, and I rolled forward as it missed, crashing into me. The grenade exploded, big smoke covered the whole area, I kept running forward when suddenly something threw me up in the air, and I didn't even have time to react when a hard kick hit me in the upper chest area. I only heard the window break when I felt immense pain in my back when I fell on what seemed like the floor inside the building. Blood came from my mouth when I coughed, and I forced myself to get up and noticed I was in a small room and had gone through the windows and then a wall. I moved out of the room and into a small hallway that looked like it was going through the whole building. The demon landed in the room where the window was, and I ran to the left, following toward the woods and hoping I could maybe do a jump if the buildings weren't too far apart. I tried grabbing something while running, but the only thing I caught was an iron trash can that was weighing too much to get a good, fast swing. I looked back and noticed that nobody was behind me, so I stopped, surprised that it hadn't come after me. I hurried forward to catch up to Tinker, who was properly close to the woods by now. My right fist caught black flames, and the whole trash can lit up. Huh, so I can use different weapons with the fire, even though the flame around the trash can wasn't the biggest and strongest. I started jogging a little bit as the hallway was about to turn left when the wall on my right broke, and I managed to get the trash can up as a red fist went through, and I flew through a wall again, my back taking the most heat, and no doctor would probably approve me even to walk right now.

Blood surrounded my stomach area as the wound had opened up again. The creature had fallen through the wall with me; it must have missed balancing as the fist went all the way through, and it lost its balance and fell on the floor. I tried getting up in what felt like slowmotion while I grabbed the trash can as it lit up in black flames, and of course, the creature was way faster than I was and kicked downwards at me when I managed in the last second get the trashcan up, and it squealed in the air in pain as it fell backwards down on the floor. I crawled quickly and grabbed the black feet that had been burned by the trash can and twisted it with the sound of a snap as it squealed even higher now and turned on its stomach. I crawled up on its back, grabbed a wing, snapped it off, and when I threw it away, red cubes fell to the floor. It managed to turn around as I fell on the side, and I grabbed the trash can and put my right fist in it while both of us gave each other a hit at the same time, but he moved around in pain as I felt blood rushing down my nose. I climbed up on him when he was holding his face, and I picked up the trash can and hit it several times as he slowly stopped moving.
"Y-Fudger-F-fudge...you! And I kept hitting him as his body reacted to each blow until there was no movement left.
Why was I breathing so heavily? Do I have an injury in one of my lungs? I got up from the creature, and it turned into small cubes covering the floor. The ones turning into cubes have to belong to the game; others that bleed are probably in the game for real.
I walked around the hallway until I found a door leading down the stairs, and as I came out in another alleyway, I heard the clinging sound from the other side. It looks like Mejni and Torfudge are moving towards the woods while fighting, which is a little weird to think about from that perspective. I looked down at my injured stomach, and not even one freaking stitch was left; the whole wound had opened up. I looked around. Of course, I wouldn't be able to find a doctor here; it would be weird seeing one just hanging around the streets when most of the town has turned into Crawlers. That was a bit overkill to think I might find someone.
While walking, my right hand lit up again. I looked around to see if I was going to get attacked, but it was nothing. I pressed my left hand against the injury in an attempt to bleed less, not a very thought-out plan, and then I got the freaking great idea. I need to burn the injury and temporarily close it. I pressed with my right index finger trying to stop the bleeding, but the fire did not have any effect on my body. I moved to the side of the road and kicked a wooden pallet, breaking its legs. I lit one of the legs on fire and grabbed it with my left hand as the fire switched colour to normal flames. I grabbed it with my left hand and pressed it on my injured area:
“AH...F...GOT...DA...AH!”
When I opened my eyes, I was still on the street, and I must have passed out from the pain. Looked down on the injured area, and it didn't bleed anymore, but I had to hold in the pain.
After walking for a while, I reached the end of the road and looked at the woods going uphill, which was just a more energy-demanding journey. The best way is probably to run uphill until I reach the castle, no matter the pain, so that we can get this over with. I stepped onto the grass when I heard different screams from the woods.
"THE HUMAN HAS ENTERED, BRING HIM TO ME!" A dark voice screamed out in the air.
