Chapter 6: Fight Against Labu
Entering the core area, Rudy and Soula sighted Ruka being protected by three of the village guards. Ruka seemed to have broken her leg and had it bent at an unnatural angle. Because of this, she was unable to run even if the guards held the BOSS back.
Most of the observing adults were from the guards. Because most guards are only at the 3rd gate, the three adults are only around level 300-350.
However, the situation is quite bad for them. Right now, they are fighting the BOSS Labu and monsters under his control.
Surrounding the group were about twelve crocodiles. They all had sharp spikes protruding from their head like a horn.
The BOSS Labu was as big as a house. It had reptilian skin and had spine-like hair running along its front and back. It only had two legs, but it supported itself with his tail. The head was a mix between a crocodile and a snake. Overall, it gave off the appearance of a giant sea monster.
Even with an advantage in level, the guards were surrounded and they also have to defend Ruka who cannot move. Although monsters seem weaker, their levels are actually about a tenth of a humans. (EX: Lv: 100 human = Lv: 10 Monster) Also, more crocodiles seem to come from the lake. If they did not receive help, they will be overwhelmed.
Soula: "Rudy, go over there and..."
Noticing that Rudy wasn’t paying attention, he saw that Rudy was currently enchanted by one of the guards, a woman with leather armour that emphasized her looks.
Soula didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Rudy's perverted mind would focus on her instead of the injured sister nearby.
Soula: "Rudy, get your mind out of the gutter and help your sister."
Rudy: "OK."
When Rudy ran off to help them, Soula stay behind. Now don't get me wrong here. I'm not backing off from a fight. I'm just channeling my mana right now. I
“I don't really care if people know that I can use magic, but I better keep it in moderation,” thought Soula.
“Ok, I'll use that spell.”
“Ok, this spell is enough to damage the minions,” thought Soula. “...and I sooo have enough mana for that. In fact, if I use all of my mana, I can create a bit less than 200,000 arrows.”
“But for now, I'll just use enough to get rid of the minions. I make around 500 arrows and aim them at the minions. ALRIGHT, MASS SLAUGHTER!!!” Firing the arrows, Soula aimed only at the minions.

After the barrage ends, what was left were a few surprised guards, a boy and girl with confused looks, and a very scary BOSS that Soula noticed was currently, “CHARGING STRAIGHT AT ME!!! OH GOD, I'M NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO DEFEAT A LEVEL 20 BOSS YET!!!”
Quickly, he activated another move of his. Through continuous experimentation of system commands during their stay here, he learned that inventory could be used to absorb inorganic parts of a monster.
Because most people have a low [Soul] stat, they use their inventory to store weapons and money. But because Soula was such a cheat, he could hold so much more than others. The command can't store non-living items inside, but it can shave off parts of a monster.
Soula started spamming [Inventory]. He shaped the command into a form like slots. The normal inventory summons a square-shaped hole to put things inside. Soula has managed to shape the command into card-shaped projectiles that ignores obstacles. He slowly shaved off the hair and skin of the monster. For some reason, the skill has a grey line on what it can take. Unless a part like an eye or a limb is attached to an living animal, Soula can't absorb it.
However, this skill totally ignores defense. So this skill is probably the most efficient skill Soula had.
With this tactic, he slowly start shavinging off Labu's HP. Even though, the damage is miniscule, it also has the hidden factor of removing his defence. If his armour-like skin is damaged, then it might even be possible for the guards to damage him.

All of this is good, but the main point of this is to allow the others to escape. From the corner of his view, Soula saw Rudy and Ruka being escorted by one of the guards while the other two attempt to come over and help.
"Great, then they can go kill this basta… hey wait. Why did they jump over his back. And why are they picking me up and running away. Come on, he only has about 10% of his health."
At that moment, Labu suddenly stopped moving. Then, metal started growing over the damaged scales I gave him. In fact, his whole body started to turn to metal.
