  Nine minutes before New Year’s Eve

  In the stellar system named by its inhabitants as Sol lies a blue marble planet. The species living in this world called themselves Humans or classically, Terrans. This blue marble planet name Earth was formed about 4.54 billion years ago, brought forth life in its domain and witnesses the rise and fall of great civilizations built by man.

  In the present, the Terrans are busy and excited for the New Year's Eve. Many people dance, eat, drink alcoholic beverages, and watch or light fireworks to mark the new year. Some people attend a watch night service.

  It is an event that is celebrated by all cultures in this world.

  As the inhabitants excitedly yet patiently waited for the arrival of the new calendar, above the Earth's near polar-orbit, seemingly floating aimlessly was an object. Inside, letters and numbers rapidly changing continuously.

  Eleven fifty-two, eleven fifty-three. The clocks of various nations that would welcome first the new year began to tick down every second. Then as the clock's hand pointed at twelve, the night were filled with fireworks and shouts and greetings of "Happy New Year!".

  Inside the floating object, the letters and numbers stopped moving while flickering in red-orange radiance. At the same time, somewhere on Earth the land cracked open...
