I sighed. "So it comes down to this huh? A fight to the death. Just like old times." The beast I faced snarled, and charged me, I sighed yet again, and took out my scythe. Closing my eyes, I said,"This scythe I created...Has only touched apon souls, and beings who try to transcend death. I reap souls, that is my job. But now." My eyes flashed open."I will reap your life!" With a clang, my scythe blocked the claws that would have taken my head. And I began my counterattack.
I stared down at the dead body of who was once my friend. And I sighed, for the umteenth time. Who would turn my friend against me. I clutched the gaping hole in my shoulder, and watched, as his soul seperated from his body. Kachiik! I felt a searing pain in my back. I groaned, and turned around, to see a handsome man with a cold expression, holding onto a sword that was going through my back."So, you finally decided to do it didn't you." I calmly stated. The man started,"you knew?"
