*sigh*
"What a boring and tiring day. Ohh, But every day is boring and tiresome, hahaha ha ha hah"
*sigh*
Sam murmured to himself as he walked home from his part-time job.
"Can't these damn employers pay me instead of scamming me off my damn money!!"
Sam always exploded into fury when he thought about those old farts who only cared for themselves. When he started at his part-time at the factory, he had expected to be able to pull through his inconceivable money issues, but unfortunately, the higher-ups screwed him over by lowering the pay on the job just when he started. Sam had calculated exactly how much he would need to fix his problems, which is why he chose the job of working at a factory, but he also chose it because it was an easy option.
'well, gotta sleep since I have school tomorrow'
When Sam woke up the next morning, he rushed to the train with a sandwich in his mouth like a cliched high school boy, but Sam didn't mind, he just wanted to get in time for class at least once this year.
*pant, pant, pant"
"holy shit I ran fast. Frickin two kilometers in four minutes. Maybe I should start running competitively instead"
Sam had barely caught his bus to the university and was panting like a wild dog. Everyone on the bus was staring at him with weird looks. Not only was he breathing like a mad dog, he was also practically dressed like a homeless.
He wore a torn black hoodie along with some really dirty jeans and slippers. Anyone who would see him would believe he was homeless and money-wise he pretty much was, but he miraculously still had a home.
Arriving at the university, he rushed to the gates and sighed in relief because he had arrived on time.
"YEESSS!!!"
Sam screamed out loudly as if he had won a lottery of a million dollars.
Hearing Sam scream made everyone on campus look in his direction.
"Hey look, it's Mr. Homeless hahahahaha"
Someone said while laughing, and yes, Sam's money related issues were widely known throughout the university.
"ugh, he's so disgusting, why does he have to arrive this early. It was better when he always came late so no one had to see him."
A girl with a disgusted and disdainful look said.
Sam could clearly hear all of this, but he didn't mind because he had always been the target of insults and slander. Instead, he walked proudly into the school thinking of how great he was since he had arrived on time. Since Sam was quite poor, he lived far away from the university which made it hard for him to arrive on time.
"aah, it sure feels great being able to get to class when it actually starts."
Sam said while letting out a sigh of relief.
*bang*
A muffled bang sounded in the school. Sam had fallen to the floor with a bleeding head. Behind him stood three people, one held a metal pipe and was the one who had hit Sam in the back of his head, leaving him completely unconscious. Then there was another guy who stood behind the one who had hit Sam. The last one was the revered number one beauty, Lisa Chiang.
Lisa was not only a peerless beauty, she was also the daughter of the Chiang Casino's CEO, Silva Chiang. Silva was a man from the USA who had traveled to China in order to establish his very own casino, which he flawlessly succeded with. He was the third richest man in the whole city of Kanghae, which made him undeniably powerful in the government as well. The university Sam went to is called K.S.U, which stands for Kanghae State University. K.S.U was not created by Silva Chiang, but 50% of the university was funded by him. This made it possible for Lisa Chiang to do pretty much whatever she wanted to.
"I told you before that if I ever saw you again this early, I would beat you till your parents won't recognize you."
*spit*
Lisa spat on sam as if he was below trash itself.
Sam, who should, by all means, be unconscious by now woke up and stood straight.
"You know... Lisa, the reason I arrive late is really not because you told me to, it's just because the train leaves waaaaay too early for me and do, believe me, I would most likely never listen to you...."
Everyone had fallen into silence, no one thought anyone would be as stupid as to talk back to Lisa Chiang, much less insult her.
"...so, yea. The more you know Lisa."
Sam exclaimed with a happy tone which made everyone on campus shocked. Lisa was not only shocked by the fact that Sam had not been affected by the metal pipe, but also by the fact that he dared to talk back to her and even offend her.
"Tsk, this trash dares talk back to me, hit him hard this time."
Just as the guy was about to hit him again, Sam ran out of campus and towards the train station.
Lisa gritted her teeth and shouted.
"Are you running away you fucking coward!"
"Of course I am, I'm not dumb enough as to just stand there and let you beat me to death!"
Everyone was dumbstruck by Sam's exclamation
Lisa's two lackeys started chasing after him to the train station, and just as Sam entered the station, a train appeared. Sam quickly boarded it and then turned around looking at the two chasing him. When the two arrived at the station, the doors to the train had closed just in time for them to miss it.
This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.
"Hahahaha, bye, bye suckers. Hahahahah"
Sam said as he looked at the two through the doors while shooting an evil gaze in their direction.
'Those damn lackeys. Every day, they terrorize me.'
Luckily, the train which Sam had jumped on was the one leading to his home. Going home was probably the best option if he valued his life at all.
*sigh*
"And another day, just as annoying and tiresome as the other. This wasn't even a third of a day, but everyone still managed to screw me over. Damn, I wish I was some rich dude who could hire some bodyguards"
Sam said as he walked into his run-down apartment, which again, he miraculously was still allowed to live in. He sat down by his laptop and started browsing different self-defense techniques and martial arts.
*pling*
"What's this?"
Sam said and read the mail he had received.
"Well, well. Just what I needed. Another scam email, fucking great"
Just as Sam was going to dispose of the mail, a loud knocking sound could be heard from his door.
"Holy shit that scared me!"
Sam quickly left his laptop and walked to the door.
*creak*
"Uhm, hello, how can I help you"
Sam said while opening the door. And believe it or not, there stood the landlord with his hand stretched out towards Sam.
"Why, hello there Sam. Where is the damn rent!"
The landlord screamed.
"Wait, wait Guanyu, I promise I'll pay tomorrow morning. If I'm not able to, I'll double the amount. Okay?"
Guanyu hesitated for a moment but decided after a while of hard thinking.
"Okay Sam, but If for some reason, I don't receive the money tomorrow morning, I won't just crave the double amount, I'll kick you ass flying too"
Sam let out a sigh of relief as he walked back indoors while thinking about how the hell he would be able to earn so much money in such a short amount of time.
He sat down beside the laptop again and brainstormed for some time, but eventually gave up on the idea of paying. He should plan on an escape instead.
Sam's depressing thoughts were interrupted by the flashing screen on his laptop which displayed the scam-mail.
"Heck, I'll just proceed with this shit, What can they even scam me off, I have no money."
Sam said in a depressing tone and clicked the mail.
"What am I even doing, It'll just reply with a bot message anyways."
*pling*
Sam once again looked at his laptop and wrote a reply.
......
*pling*
Sam heard the tone and looked at what this Nigerian prince had written to him.
"WTF?"
Sam said in a shocked tone. He read the mail again and realized something. This scam bot was not a bot apparently.
Is what the mail said.
Sam then wrote another reply in which he actually talked to it as a person.
*pling*
---
*pling*
---
"Wait, WTF am I even talking about my life with this scammer for!!?"
Sam was interrupted by his own self as he had realized that he had been chatting with this damn Nigerian prince like he was at therapy.
*pling*
Sam was dumbfounded by their view of "directing" and even more about how the heck they even arrived at the USA's border by car, but he still causally looked up their questions on google.
---
*pling*
Sam saw that they wanted and didn't hesitate to give them the information since he basically has no money to lose while being in dire need of money. Even though he knew that he would never receive money from a scam, he wanted to hope at least.
---
*pling*
Sam sighed inwardly and just threw himself at his bed and thought about how miserable his life was, but once again was his depressing thoughts interrupted.
*pling*
True enough, Sam had received the money one minute later.
"What the actual fuck"
This was the only sentence Sam could utter.
