Chapter 7: All things Holy & Golden

After hours of working with Instructor Kaya and having so much information crammed into his brain, Grey was already exhausted. As soon as he was done, he was determined to go home and sleep. He was fucking exhausted.

Grey met Alice at the door.

  "You done?"

Grey nodded and dragged his feet down the hall towards the elevator.

"Should we get some food before heading back?"

"Nah, I'm tired as fuck. You can order delivery to my apartment if you want. I'm not hungry, I'm too tired to eat."

"Roger that." Alice grinned and looked Grey up and down. "You want me to carry you back? You're moving slower than a grandma with walker."

"No." Grey cut her off. "Knowing you, you would totally try to princess carry me. No way and no thanks."

"Ah.... you take all my fun away."

Grey sighed as they made their way out the building. Honestly, he was so tired he was tempted to let her just carry him. Embarrassment be damned.

What he didn't expect to see was the very tall gorgeous snake leaning against the wall in the shadow of his building as if he had been waiting for him.Grey paused and stared at the man who smiled brightly the moment their eyes met and made his way toward him. Fuck.

"You really must be something, look at that face. That is the face of satisfaction and lust... like... you can't make it more obvious. Golden asshole, indeed." Alice mocked from beside him as she watched Talen make his way over. She laugh coughed and stepped back.

"I'll... ugh... you know... be over there just out of earshot so I don't hear all that cringe shit." And she disappeared down the sidewalk near the trees and sat at the bench just out of earshot for Yangs, which was actually pretty far considering the distance. Grey frowned but Talen smirked and waved at her, ushering Grey to the side so they weren't completely out in the open but still in Alice's line of sight.

"Such a clever girl, knows how to take a hint." Talen turned his attention back to Grey and leaned over him, his face so close that all he would have to do is lean down and press his lips against Grey's. He was very tempted to do it but held back, he had to control himself or his little sweet would melt and disappear from his hands. Grey was the type to disappear for sure.

"Seems like she's the only one around here who can. I'm pretty positive I told you yesterday I wouldn't be up for seconds, couldn't be more direct in my note I left you this morning and still you couldn't take the hint and fuck off. We talked about this. You yourself had promised it was just one night. Other than you possibly leaving something behind, I can't even begin to imagine why you are here when our 'association' has already concluded. What do you want?" Grey said as he leaned his head back to stare at those sparkling emerald gems he had for eyes. Did eyes really sparkle like that?

"I know what we said, but if I had known how good it would be, I wouldn't have run my mouth about it being just a night. Our chemistry is off the charts and I'm still craving more. Wasn't it good for you too?" Talen leaned down, bit Grey's ear and then spoke seductively into it "Your hole sucked my cock like it couldn't get enough of my cum and it swallowed every drop until you were filled to the brim. Your body loved every second of it. It wants my cock even now, that's why your hole is twitching, isn't it? I can feel it beneath my fingers." Talen gripped Grey's ass, spreading his cheeks and rubbing where his hole would be beneath his jeans.

Grey groaned and felt his dick harden and hole twitch at the images Talen was putting in his head, like the memories of last night. It was good... really good, he could do it again for sure but he didn't want to get involved with a Yang.

He wasn't a good person at all, but he didn't want to be involved with someone from work and that would have a partner. Talen was S rank, extremely good looking and good at sex-all that would definitely make him insanely popular. He was absolutely guaranteed to have an assigned Yin partner due to his high rank but the main reason Grey was so averse to continuing any type of relationship with him was because there was bound to be drama.

Grey was practically going to be living where he worked, which meant he would be seeing these people all the fucking time. 24/7 whether he was on duty or off, they would be there. And dealing with someone like Talen? Yea, no. Anyone that popular would have scores of people after him which means he would have scores of drama.

So toss in jealousy and you had the makings of a social nightmare. Even if people wanted to take their anger out on the person who broke their hearts, because Talen for sure broke their hearts, who would say anything to the hot S rank piece of shit who could kill you with a snap of his fingers? No one. It was pointless and suicidal, so they go after the weak prey that was in the same situation as themselves. Human nature at it finest.

Yea, Grey just couldn't be bothered with that shit. No, he refused. But before he could answer-

"What the fuck is this bullshit?" A familiar deep and annoying voice interrupted. And for once, Grey wasn't upset to hear it.

Grey looked over and saw Darren standing on the sidewalk, disgust clearly etched on his usually indifferent face. "I look away for one second and you're already causing me trouble. Why can't you just sit still when I tell you to?"

"Ha." Grey snorted a laugh and turned away, it wasn't even worth the energy to deal with. For a moment he had been almost happy to see him interrupt but now that he was spouting nonsense, what little tolerance Grey had for his presence disappeared.

Seeing Grey turn away and watch Talen smile as he regained Grey's attention, Darren nearly lost his temper.

"Grey, I'm talking to you. Get over here. Now."

"Are you blind? Can't you see we are in the middle of something here?" Talen spat above Grey's head, frustrated at Darren's constant interruptions. He pulled Grey further into his arms, twisting so his body was behind him. Talen figured it was best to get rid of the annoyance so he could focus solely on Grey and getting him to agree to continue their affair. Nothing was going to get in his way.

Darren frowned at the gesture and pointed at Grey, "Grey, your fiancé is talking to you, the least you could do is look at me when I'm speaking. Get over here now while I'm asking nicely."

Grey just smirked and rolled his eyes, not even bothering to look at Darren. How many times is he going to pretend like we are still engaged?

"Fiancé?" Talen eyes widened at the word and then looked down at Grey and smiled, "So that's where you've been hiding, hmm? Yang Hunter Darren has been hiding you so that others can't find you under the condition of being his so called fiancé? Everyone knows how much he hates his fiancé. Was that just a smoke screen to stop others from being interested in you? How stupid. As if he could ever hide something as delicious as you. But it doesn't look like he's even had a taste. No... he definitely wouldn't have let you go if he had. So what is it? Doesn't want you but doesn't want anyone else to have you, is that it? The fact that he's had you to himself all this time and nothing has come of it, means he's a complete and utter moron. Why don't you drop him and come to me, I definitely want you and will keep you satisfied. Didn't I prove myself last night? Shall I give you another taste?"

Talen didn't even know what he was saying anymore but from the moment that Darren showed up and claimed Grey, his rage surged and he knew he couldn't let that pass. He would do whatever it took to get Grey because for now, at least, he couldn't get enough of him and he would need to satisfy his thirst before he let him go. No way. There was no way he was letting Grey be taken away by someone else. Not until he had his fill.

Darren growled and stomped forward, "That's enough. Grey. I'm not going to play these games. Come with me right now." He reached for Grey but Talen dodged and pulled Grey back with him. He nearly lost all his reason and released his abilities but the sound of Grey's voice snapped him back to realty and all his senses focused on his voice.

"Oi. Get off me." Grey grumbled and pushed Talen's chest. Talen frowned but let him go. Grey cracked his neck and turned to look at Darren.

"You. I'm not your fiancé, we already broke it off. Stop spouting bullshit and fuck off. And you, you can fuck off with him too, I've got no business left with either of you."

"Grey, I told you we need to talk." Darren said as he stepped forward to block his path to the building.

"I really have nothing left to say to either of you. So, if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way and you should be on yours."

Grey turned away from both of them and made his way toward Alice who was standing in the middle of the sidewalk with a worried face.

  "Grey, I'm not finished talking."

  "Fuck off." Grey kept walking.

"Honey, my sweet, I wasn't finished either. We need to talk about us."

Grey paused and grabbed his head, massaging the temples that were starting to pound. He turned to look both of the annoying Yangs in the face, both standing their in arrogance. Shameless fuckers.

"Why do you two keep making me repeat myself? Talen. You were a great fuck. Thanks for last night. There won't be a repeat so fuck off. Darren. We aren't together. Our business has concluded so you can fuck off too. Great talk."

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

Grey turned around just as Alice finally made her way back over. "You ok?"

"No, help me get past these fuckers. I just want to go home."

Alice frowned and looked at the two men, "You guys know that if you don't move out of the way, I will have to call backup and both of you could be punished right? Are you going to make this difficult?"

Darren scrubbed a hand down his face and stared at Grey, "Grey."

Talen smirked and held up his hands in surrender. "I'll surrender to my honey today, but Grey, at least give it a thought. We were good together. Let's play again, you know I'm good for it."

Alice tried hard not laugh as she escorted Grey through them and into the building and Grey tried hard not to scream at the audacity of those fuckers. Sigh. Once inside the elevator, Alice lost the fight and busted out in laughter.

"Holy shit! No, HOLY GOLDEN ASSHOLE! You had two S rank Yangs chasing your holy asshole! Wow! This is shocking, I don't know what to do with this information but I feel the world needs to know the glory that is your asshole!"

Sigh, "Alice, I swear to god, if you breath a word of this I will..... I will stop being your bestie."

Alice gasped and grabbed her chest in mock pain and shock, "You wouldn't dare!"

"Try me." Grey said in better humor after listening to her nonsense.

"I swear to the golden asshole, I will keep my mouth shut!"

  "Ah, what a pain."

"So how does it feel to have S rank Yangs chasing you? I thought I was going to have to protect you against the crazy low rankers but you've got the big guns after your ass. What did you even do?"

"One is my ex-fiancé and the other was just a one night stand. Neither of them are actually interested in me. One probably is just looking to fuck with me because he's bored and the other just wants to fuck. Since I've rejected them, they'll find someone else to play with."

"hmmm..." Alice hummed but she could still sense both of the Yangs in front of the building. It didn't seem like either of them were just playing around despite what Grey and the Yangs may have thought.

She had never seen either of them so serious in all the time she had known them. It was going to be much more of a pain than Grey believed and she definitely had to let the other guards know because those two were already acting out of character, they were S rank so they would also need to be monitored in case they came for Grey again.

Alice looked at Grey and sighed, he seemed much too naive for his age and she sent a message to the heads to let them know that the guards would need to be S rank because of the situation with Talen and Darren.

Once inside, Grey walked to the sofa and fell straight onto the cushions and closed his eyes in exhaustion.

"Grey, your new guards will be introduced to you this evening. Do you want to take a nap and then I wake you up or should I call them here sooner?"

"I'll just nap. Wake me when it's time."

  "No problem."

Grey closed his eyes and Alice walked out in the hallway, closing the door behind her and dialed Julie, one of the branch heads of the Association.

-Got your message about upping security. Give me the full details of the situation.

Alice nodded at the voice of concern on the phone and realized she couldn't see her nod and spoke.

"He has two S rankers that will need to be monitored."

-S ranks? Not lower ranks? Who are they?

  "Darren Stur and Talen Kall"

-Darren and Talen? Those two? Thats.... unusual. Do you know anything?

Alice sighed and glanced out the window of the hallway of the building and watched as the two Yangs faced off against each other still, their hostility visible from her standpoint.

"Darren was Grey's fiancé, not sure about the full details but Grey referred to him as his ex. Considering the flow of conversation I overheard, Grey was the one who ended it. And as for Talen, he slept with Talen last night. Apparently, Talen wants to continue their affair but Grey has rejected him. Neither seem to be letting him go even after he has denied them. They have already confronted Grey in front of the building just a few minutes ago and they are both still out front after Grey told them both to fuck off. I know they aren't the type to be clingy but their behavior is contrary. I believe they will need to be monitored and I think Grey's security detail should be upped. I can handle my own but S rank is out of my league."

-Did he purify and heal them?

"What? You think he did a purification for both of them? No, I don't think that is the case. Isn't he just C rank? Besides, none of them even brought up purification or healing the entire time they talked. In fact, it was just ordinary love triangle drama or you know, dirty talk. I did try not to listen but when Darren showed up, the situation felt abnormal so I couldn't ignore it."

-I see. This is all very strange indeed. If he didn't purify them but they are still acting out of character then...

  "He has a golden asshole."

-Sigh. Alice, please. How is Grey, what is he doing?"

"Fine. He's asleep in his apartment and seems completely indifferent, borderline oblivious. Doesn't seem to realize that both men are more serious than he believes. He is naive in the weirdest of ways. It was evident even to me that they were both clearly jealous of his attention to the other. The moment they realize it themselves, well, I can't imagine what they will do. You know how they are. They aren't exactly good men."

-No, they aren't men I would want to deal with if I could help it. If they are acting this way because they have developed feelings for him, which in and of itself is a miracle but also alarming, then this is probably going to turn into an issue. Yangs tend to be obsessive types in general, I can't imagine how they will be if they realize their affection for Grey. I guess it's a good thing he is a bit oblivious in this sense. It is probably the only thing that would stop him from panicking in this situation. Sigh, this is shocking and frustrating but it was good that you reported this, Alice.

"He's my bestie, gotta watch his back. Who else is going to protect him when he is so blind?"

  Julie laughed

-I'm glad that he has someone like you at least. You may be crazy but I know you have his best interests at heart. Well, report received. I will let Jack know and we will update the security detail. We will keep you on but also add more S rankers. He will feel more comfortable with you closer.

"Thanks Boss Lady, I appreciate it. Over and Out."

Julie laughed again and hung up the phone.

Alice frowned down at the men who didn't look like they would be leaving anytime soon and then made her way back into the apartment to watch her little bestie sleep.

  -----------------

Darren watched as Grey disappeared within the building and clenched his jaw, before turning to walk away.

"I never thought I would see the day where you chased after someone. Your own ex-fiancé that you supposedly hated, at that. Interesting. So very interesting. I used to think you were pretty intelligent but after seeing how you let him go, well I realize just how wrong that assumption was."

Talen smirked as he watched Darren stop and turn to look over his shoulder, glaring at him.

"For someone who usually is too busy fucking anything that walks, you seem very keen to put your nose into someone else's business. What happens between Grey and I is of no concern of yours, so stay out of my way."

"But it does concern me since Grey will be my lover. His business will be my business, which means you are the outsider not me."

Darren turned around and stormed towards Talen, "Stay away from Grey, Talen. I'm not going to warn you again."

"And what will you do if I don't? He isn't your fiancé anymore, Darren. It seems he dumped your ass and you can't stomach it. Are you upset that he fucked me instead of you? You had him as your fiancé for years and never tasted him? How dumb could you be."

"Grey has been obsessed with me for years, there is no room for you."

"Denial is ugly thing, my friend. You see, Grey and I made sweet sweet love all night long last night. I pumped and pounded his tight little hole that sucked and swallowed my cock like it couldn't get enough until his soft belly was swollen and completely filled to the brim with my cum. Obsessed with you? No, last night he was obsessed with my cock and screamed my name over and over until he lost his voice. I don't know what land of delusion you have been living in but it's time to return to reality and face the facts. Grey is not yours but he will be mine."

Darren's eye twitched and his brow furrowed as he listened but he sucked in a breath and cleared his mind. It was true that he was no longer able to claim the connection with Grey and it was true that after he had been declared to have lost all memories of before he awakened that Grey no longer showed him any attention or affection but there was no way Grey wouldn't eventually come to want him again. He was Grey and Grey had always wanted Darren, a person couldn't change who they were fundamentally.

Darren believed that eventually Grey would soon become obsessed with him again once settled since a person likes what they like, naturally it would happen. He had fully believed that which is why he was still cautious of him. Grey had gone out of his way before to gain Darren's attention so he had been waiting for it to start all over again.

But even after days in the hospital, even after they had talked on the phone, Grey still hadn't tried to contact or do anything to get Darren's attention. He didn't call or visit randomly. He didn't do anything except disappear from his cage and then when Darren came to look for him, he found him in the arms of this snake talking about the night they had shared together.

He didn't want to admit that he was annoyed, but he was-very much so. This whole situation was annoying. There was no way Grey should have slept with someone that wasn't Darren. It was just incomprehensible. Not only that, he had refused to even look at Darren while he had been standing right before him and even ignored him as if he didn't care that Darren was upset.

It was annoying. It was frustrating and he found that he was having a difficult time keeping his anger in check. It didn't help that the man in front of him was shoving the fact that he had touched Grey in Darren's face. It was infuriating that such a thing could happen. That someone other than Darren had touched Grey was consuming his mind.

Grey was his. His. How dare someone touch what is his!

"You speak of me being delusional but it was clear that Grey wanted nothing to do with you. Didn't you use to brag about how amazing you were in bed? How amazing can you be if Grey didn't want to do it again? Lovers? Don't hold your breath, it will never happen. You got lucky. Grey was just upset and let you comfort him in his grief over me. But all I have to do is tell him I want him back and he'll come running. Always has and always will."

Talen smirked, "No. Grey had zero interest in you. If anything, it looks to me like he could snap his fingers and you would come running. It kills you that he doesn't want you, doesn't it? Is that why you're trying to talk to him? Hoping you can talk him into taking you back? He must have really hated being your fiancé seeing as how he gave it up to me the moment we met but never let you touch him in the years he was yours. Must hurt real bad, huh?"

Darren turned away and closed his eyes. "This is getting tedious. I don't need to humor you with this ridiculous and pointless conversation. I'm not even going to waste my breath and I don't have time to deal with you anyway. Stay away from Grey. Last warning."

"Haaa... let me throw those words right back at you. Stay away from him. He's mine."

Darren scrunched his face in disgust and stormed off back towards the car waiting in front of the building.

"Fuck" he opened the door and slammed it shut, glaring at the man still standing their smirking.

"Home." He commanded before the driver could ask and frowned as he watched the building slowly disappear from his view. He sighed and leaned his head back against the seat. What the fuck was he even doing?

Now that he was sitting there, his temper stared to cool and his mind started to clear. He had been so angry that his body and mind moved, its only focus was getting to Grey as fast as he could.

He didn't even remember the drive to the building and the moment he saw Grey in Talen's arms he almost released his ability to rip them both to shreds. He didn't know how he managed to hold back but his mind had been blank, gone white from the fury that was consuming him. Even now, he couldn't understand why he was so upset.

He didn't want Grey. Didn't care who he spent his time with nor what they did during that time. And yet, the more he thought about Talen's hands on Grey's body the tighter his body stiffened with tension and his blood pressure shot through the roof with his rage.

Ah, he couldn't calm down. He seriously thought he was going to attack Talen. But even if he had, Talen would have been completely fine anyway considering he was S rank too and just as powerful.

  Haaaa...

He never had to deal with something like this in his life and he didn't know what he should do and that just pissed him off even more. He seriously felt like burning the world down to appease his anger. Whatever the issue was he knew he couldn't let Talen have Grey and he needed to talk to Grey.

That meant he would have to find a way to meet Grey without his little guard dogs and pests. Well, it wasn't a matter of how but when. Because he would make it happen, of that he was sure.
