Hi everyone.

  First off, I’d like to apologize for leaving (checks notes)… for over a year and 5 months. I’m honestly surprised so many of you stuck around believing I’d come back, and I’m grateful for that, even though I don’t deserve it. I originally disappeared because I was falling behind in college and thought I just needed a quick break to catch up before jumping back in. As you can see… it was not quick. And once I realized how long it had been, I was too embarrassed to post an update.

  During the break, I also realized I wasn’t happy with my writing or where the story was going, so I decided to rewrite. The plan was to finish Book 1 before posting again. Unfortunately, I may never be happy with my writing at this rate, so a certain someone decided to emotionally blackmail me by telling everyone I’d be posting around this time.

  Did it help? Yes.

  Was it evil? Also yes.

  I’ve been trying to improve with mixed results. Nothing is really clicking, and I keep looping back to rewrite the same chapters, so progress has been abysmal. But to avoid disappointing the rat who swore on my hairline, I’m posting anyway. Honestly, it’s probably a good thing. I just need to put my work out there again. Right now I’m mainly busy with work and school is on the sidelines, so I should be able to keep up with at least one chapter a day unless something big happens. I should be posting within the next 48-72 hours.

  The good news is the plot is more refined after all this grinding, so hopefully the story will be better even if my writing still isn’t exactly where I want it. I will be starting with chapter one, but due to my rewrites its essentially turned into a new story, so do not fear that you will be rereading the same story.

  You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.

  I’m glad to be back, and even if someone steals my kneecaps, it’s going to stay that way.

  I have uploaded a chapter already and another one will be popping up shortly. The reason I uploaded with so few chapters is because I'm I need to push myself to write again, so if you want wait a week and you should see a min of 7 chapters by then. My upload schedule will be M-F 5 chapters a week. Again sorry for disappearing and I'm back.
