Chapter 11: Taking Davie Home

Chronos had won the battle against the Academy and had taken Davie for himself. The tiny robot was tucked right into Chronos’ pocket, Chronos allowed Davie to see through a hole in the pocket.

“Now we’re going to head back” laughed Chronos.

Chronos continued to wear his “Samuel” mask throughout the Academy, even when getting a rider share service ride home. As the gray alien picked up Chronos, the gray alien didn’t say a word to him. As for everyone else, they were all be dumbfounded on how Chronos could just get away with this.

“I can’t believe my own brother would dare threaten me like that” sighed Gloria.

Gloria felt the pressure knowing someone like Rudolfo was always going to be difficult throughout her entire life. Tyler, Thad and Havana all felt sorry for her.

“I’m sure there’s a way I can get Davie back, at least under my household” said Havana.

“Oh, that would be wonderful dear” replied Gloria, “if you would, please be careful around him.”

“Well, are you going to help Havana out?” asked Ty.

  Thad groaned.

“Fine, I’ll help her, but I won’t enjoy it” replied Thad.

Havana was happy to have Thad as an unlikely partner, as for the adults – Carmal and Matthew were both pleased it was all over.

“So glad that we can finally head home” laughed Carmal, “no more pain for me.”

“Yes, but that so-called janitor sure does bother me” said Matthew.

Matthew knew of some cases from the Department of Relativity, which he helped during the prison area before being transferred to Earth over a rogue time traveler that was hopping from time period to time period. But nobody was able to catch him – this was Matthew’s chance to capture him for good. As everyone headed out of the Academy, Thad and Matthew got into the driverless car prepared to head home.

“Numerious is going to be disappointed we’re not bringing home a friend for him” said Matthew.

Matthew knew Numerious the Robo Monk would be somewhat jealous of Davie, but perhaps this was better that Davie didn’t come home with them. As for Havana, she knew Abaddon her Golem would be jealous as well.

“Let’s get home sweetie” said Carmal.

Carmal started the engine to his car after Havana got into her seat. As the two cars took off – Havana could tell that Chronos was long gone but knew his address wasn’t that far from her place. She would have to be smart on how to play it out in terms of coming up with a rescue mission for Davie. As for Chronos it took him at least two hours from downtown to his place. He finally arrived with Davie seeing his new home.

“Ah, home sweet home” laughed Chronos.

Once Chronos was inside, he could finally ditch the mask he was wearing. Davie was shocked to see the hideous face – Chronos looked more like a monster. Davie attempted to run, but Chronos grabbed him before he could.

“Listen to me, if you want to survive, you will have to do what I say from now on” said Chronos.

Davie hated his predicament, he knew he would have to try to survive as best as he could. He would have high hopes either Havana or Thad would show up.
