Nysia.
A few moments ago, before the figure in white from the palace of Elysia, approached the western window.
Beneath the tree In front of the door.
The grey-robed old man in his later years, was standing before Naqeera.
At this moment, the woman in black had her eyes closed. Coiling her neck, there was a tiny, dark snake-like thing.
A hissing sound encompassed the half-deserted area.
The snake had a pair of eyes shining in golden light, as it was slowly sliding upwards to the face of the woman while sticking out its tongue from time to time, it hissed.
Its slimey, black body slowly slided through the long-white neck, chin, lips, cheeks, nose and finally, before the closed eyes.
Then it slowly opened its mouth wide and with a sharp hiss, it shot its tiny body towards the center of the eyebrows.
Naqeera’s whole body shook violently as she instantly opened her eyes wide. Her slowly started to emit a golden light.
Then her eyebrows calmed down as she closed her eyes and tilted her head towards the sky.
A few moments of silence followed. After that, the grey-robed old man started to walk towards the black figure standing before him.
Arriving beside the door, he lifted his right hand gently, and placed the right index-finger at the center of the eyebrows of the woman while closing his own
An elderly voice echoed in the eerie darkness,
His left hand’s index-finger reached the center of his eyebrows.
He slowly opened his eyes.
Replacing the eyeballs, there was an endless abyss of darkness.
This time, replacing the endless dark abyss, there was a pair of emitting a golden light.
…
Inside a towering circular hall, ten meters tall and stretching to a hundred meters radius.
A three-meter long, luxurious looking wooden table suddenly started to tremble violently, as if experiencing a great-earthquake.
Then.
The table slowly sank to the floor, atop which it stood tall until just a moment ago.
And
The table instantly turned into a large pile of golden dust.
After which, a staircase slowly emerged upwards from the pile of dust.
Upon reaching an point, the scene finally came to a rest.
A few minutes passed.
The sound of someone’s footsteps covered the circular hall.
A pale-faced, slender-built, eighteen years old youth placed down his left foot on the last part of the stairs. He was wearing something ragged made from a wild beast’s skin, on the left side of his waist, there was a crude bone-knife.
He fell on the floor. His body shuddered as he broke into a cold sweat.
Panting heavily he looked at the arrival area, which, by now had already returned to its previous state, with a three-meter long wooden table standing tall atop it.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
It took the boy a few minutes to regain his composure.
Remembering the he experienced just some moments ago, he gulped in a mouthful of saliva.
…
About thirty minutes ago, before the arrival scene took place.
At an unknown
After the youth left the Redwood’s territory, he found himself walking down a staircase. A while later he reached the end of it and saw a wide in black with white surrounding the rest of it.
He looked around the before him and furrowing his eyebrows came to a conclusion.
This white place contained nothing else except for the three-meter wide and seemingly endless black road.
He clicked his tongue in displeasure as suddenly a bad premonition came over him, he held the bone-knife with his left hand and started
“..."
He walked in silence.
He walked for an hour.
For a day…
A week…
Months…
An entire year…
Soon time lost all its meaning before the young man’s endless journey.
During this journey, he felt like an empty hollow. His eyes were dim, face still like calm water.
In his mind though, one single word was repeating itself over and over again.
This one word was constantly making cries of pleading in his brain.
At those times, he just vaguely felt like someone was whispering something to his ears.
An unknown amount of time passed.
The figure of the youth never came to a pause.
He always kept moving forward while his outer appearance remained unchanged.
He never uttered a single word all this time and just kept on marching towards his
…
Another hundred years lost their way in the pages of history.
Today, until a moment ago, the day was continuing just like any other day.
The teenager boy wearing ragged clothes, holding a bone-knife on his left hand was walking through a three-meter wide pitch-black road, which was surrounded by
However, right at this moment, the youth suddenly jolted and instantly collapsed on the floor as his legs had lost all their strength.
His body shuddered as he broke into a cold sweat.Panting heavily, he looked behind him as the staircase disappeared into dust, and a three-meter-long luxurious-looking wooden table stood tall atop it.
And then he suddenly heard an unknown yet strangely familiar old voice in his mind,
“Hmm… Seems like, it would take you quite some time to to
After a soft chuckle, it continued but with a bit more vigorous tone this time–
“What a indeed! It took you exactly a total of 1,741 years to reach that Ah, right you must have gotten confused about the concept of time while in that place.
In short, you walked in that place for 1,741 years, and just recently found your way to this — Argh! That damnable little..!”
The voice got distracted by something and paused for a bit after which it continued,
“So,um… 1,741 years in that is about 1,741 seconds in the normal world. And thus, rest assured, it has been roughly half an hour from the moment you decided to
With this, the voice faded into nothingness.
A few moments of silence followed. The voice didn't appear in his head. Only then did the youth take a deep breath and regain his composure.
After briefly recalling his which in his mind had lasted for nearly two thousand years, he swallowed hard.
Then he tried to look around the circular hall but found nothing except the wooden table and a chair, in that entire black hall. He had already seen the table before but the chair came into existence just a while ago so he went near it and then stopped.
“...”, he looked at the luxurious yet ordinary chair and noticed that it was made from a Redwood tree. Seeing this particular detail, he felt a faint sense of loss deep within him as he tightened his grip on the chair and pursed his lips.
"I don't have any information on this place even after the meeting with But… this subtle sense of belonging… As if I've already been here before and...”,
he stopped during his aloud thinking as he saw a plate slowly appear on the wooden table before the chair.
A ceramic plate with beautiful designs covering some of its areas.
On the plate, there was a bean-shaped dish covered in red gravy.
The dish had a tiny piece of it missing, as if someone just ate a bite but left the rest of the dish untouched.
He kept staring at the dish for a while and then flinched.
He leaned forward with a thoughtful expression,
“This…”
He deeply looked at the presumably of a before him, as an unpleasant memory crawled its way to his mind.
His eyebrows perked up, eyes shining brightly, he thought of a he suffered not-too-long ago… when he had both of his eyes and a taken away.
Wearing a serious look on his face, he continued to walk around the hall in a circle but eventually gave up on discovering something new. Then suddenly he felt something calling out to him from behind.
Turning around, he saw a with some unknown patterns covering the whole of it. He subconsciously reached out to it as his left hand touched the patterns.
And then.
Suddenly the entire circular hall started shaking. And the started to open automatically a bit by bit.
…
A few minutes ago.
Beneath the tree in front of the door.
The grey-robed old man's deep-blue eyes started to emit a golden light.
Then he shifted his eyes towards the vast and boundless sky.
And there, he saw a
A man in black armor covered in unknown patterns, well-built body, pitch black hair, a one-meter long sharp sword in his left hand, and another one in his right hand.
His face was covered in a strange looking grey mask, only leaving the eye areas uncovered.
The grey-robed old man was just about to look into the figure’s eyes when–
Suddenly the entire area around the base started shaking. And the door beside the old man started to emit a golden light as it was slowly being opened from the opposite side.
Seeing such a scene, the old man's were immediately replaced by an endless abyss of darkness as he shouted angrily, “Damnit! Just a little bit more time would have sufficed! I almost saw those eyes!”
And by this point that endlessly dark abyss was replaced by a pair of
“Just what the hell is going on, first this little girl appeared out of nowhere and recognized the patterns and now this, else except for me is opening the door from inside. I gotta leave this place right now, or my poor-old-heart would stop beating due to too many surprises in a single night!”, the old man cried out loud.
And then started to run in the opposite direction from the door while cursing inwardly, ‘I'm totally wasted right now after using that ability, and now this old man has no other choice but to run. Hell! I could've looked into the history if I only had a few more minutes, what bad luck tonight!’
The old figure soon disappeared from the half-deserted area.
…
Under the tree.
The sound of a door opening hung in the air.
Someone's footsteps echoed around the lowest part of the tree.
Dried leaves cracked under the step. The youth came out from the door.
The door closed by itself.
“..."
He looked around him silently, left hand gripping the bone-knife, ears perked up, eyes vigilant. He saw–
A deserted area encircling an enormous tree, its tree-top was touching the clouds in the sky.
"Whoa!”
The boy exclaimed in surprise as he tilted his head skyward. The size of this before him surpassed his range of vision, leaving even the Redwood tree’s image in the dust!
‘I wonder how it would feel to reach the top and look at this land from there…’, he was amused at the thought as he lowered back his head and decided to scout the area a bit.
Near the lowest part of the tree, he saw a door covered with an unknown pattern.
Then he jolted and looked up towards the tree-top instantly.
A few moments later his eyebrows jumped upwards as an understanding look appeared on his face.
‘It seems like I was already at the but before I even realized, I came . At least I'm ninety percent sure that's the case.’, he thought while walking around the tree. A few seconds later, his footsteps came to a halt.
Before him lay a black-robed woman.
Sprawling over the ground, unconscious.
She had long-dark hair disheveled beneath a perfectly slender figure.
A glimpse of moonlight came from the sky and gently caressed her face.
Her face partially shined as the youth could see the long eyelashes, sharp-nose and chin, petal-like lips, dimpled-cheeks slightly flushed.
The barely eighteen years old teenager couldn't help but keep staring at the before him, his mouth agape.
His heartbeat started to race wildly in his right chest.
Breathing heavily, he slowly closed the distance between them and sat beside the woman before him. His eyes gazing upon the sleeping beauty. Her calm face stirred something deep within him. Gently, he lifted his left hand and caressed her cheek. With each passing second, his body grew warmer. A new type of feeling filled his heart with questionable desires. In his short one year worth of agonizing memories , he has never felt anything like this before.
It was an feeling.
