Just like when we first met

Just like when we first met

That day, he went to Zhu Tingfeng's school to visit him. Zhu Tingfeng had just been summoned back from the US by his father to take over the school and was extremely depressed under the supervision of the old man every day. He felt very unbalanced in his heart and called his friends who were still having a good time in the US one by one, bombarding them with phone calls. He couldn't bear his miserable state and returned to China to see him, coincidentally, there were also things to deal with at the domestic company.

That was also his first time staying in the city for so long after being away from it for six years, during which he had a falling out with his father over personal career issues and went to the United States.

Lu Fangting wanted him to take the military academy exam, because with his ability, he would eventually make a name for himself in the military world, which would be of great support to Lu Fangting's political career. However, having grown up following Lu Fangting and witnessing the ups and downs of officialdom, he had an extreme aversion to everything about officialdom, and even more so, he was unwilling to become Lu Fangting's pawn in politics.

So he unconditionally told Lu Fangting that he wanted to study in the United States, majoring in his favorite economics and architecture. Lu Fangting was furious and threatened to cut off their father-son relationship, and quickly cut off all his economic sources, even calling Zhu Tingfeng's parents one by one, not allowing them to lend him money.

Lu Fangting thought that he would compromise, but he never thought that he had been carrying his own hard-earned money, just enough for the ticket, to travel alone to the United States. In a foreign land, he relied on his hard work to support his studies.

He spent only two years completing a double degree in economics and architecture, and then spent four years setting up his own company in the United States and taking it public. In these six years, he never returned home except for business trips, nor did he contact Lu Fangting, but occasionally visited his mother when he returned to China on business.

After he left, his mother's relationship with Lu Fangting also deteriorated completely, and she moved out of the Lu family's mansion to live in seclusion on a mountain, showing signs of becoming a nun in recent years.

He once asked his mother how she ended up marrying such a selfish and greedy man, but his mother calmly replied that he wasn't like that at first. He was honest, just, and straightforward, but later the temptation of power was too great, and it gradually pulled him off the moral track.

He went to visit Zhu Tingfeng when Zhu Tingfeng was constantly complaining about his own grandfather's harshness. He leaned against the window of his office, smoking listlessly. In the distance, on the corridor, two girls in black and red clothes walked by, holding books in their hands. The girl in black suddenly burst out laughing.

In that instant, he was suddenly heart-struck and lost his senses for no reason. The sunlight in the afternoon of that day was too dazzling, but he only remembered the girl's radiant smile, which was hotter than the scorching sun above her head, and it had dazzled his eyes.

Behind him, Zhuo Ting Feng saw that he had been complaining for half a day without getting any comfort from him, and couldn't help but call out to him several times. Only then did he come back to his senses, but his eyes were still fixed on the black figure that was leaving in the distance. After a while, he slowly spoke to Zhuo Ting Feng.

"Xiao Zhuozi, do you know there's a word... called love at first sight?"
