chapter 1

When Ann watched youtube for the 101st time, she could not imagine that she would travel through.

In a flash of vertigo, the scene changed from a computer screen to a Yellow River bank. A rancid smell filled the air, and the hot wind whipped up sand and pelted her in the face.

  Ann struggled.

The Angle of view was low and the shaking was very frequent. There was a noticeable tightness and dampness on the back of the neck, and she could almost feel the shape of the teeth, which must have been carried by some wild animal. Forced to tilt her head sideways, all she could see was receding bushes and two fluffy cubs stumbling around.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

  The lion.

Judging by their size, the pups couldn't have been more than four months old, and they were clearly spotted. One had a bigger black spot on the back of the ear, and the other had a shorter tail. They were lively and talkative, whining their displeasure all the way.

It's hard to say what the grievance is.

Maybe it was the sinus-cracking dry weather, or the scorching sun beneath feet. Maybe it was the mother's injustice that one of them should be carried off while the other two had to run around on the ground.

Ann wagged her tail bitterly at the speculation.
