The Fool Pathway's Sequence 8 Clown,
Alone, it defines a control of the self, with not only the body but even the emotions of the soul, which hold the 'face' of the Clown. While the Clown's ability holds control over facial muscles, bodily control, and bance, but it's merely an extension of the true intention to control their own emotion and fake emotion, it's intention will soon be more obvious when set to Faceless and then Marionettist.
The secrets of a Clown is kept and can change themselves to be whatever and in turn change others, such meaning!
In Context, this Clown's ability shows the physical part of fooling through hiding one's emotion and dispying a different one, essentially making one believe in a lie.
This shows that a Clown can live a joke of a life with a different set of a persona just to make others believe in an act. And it's interesting part is how Clowns are made to make others ugh, which genuinely shows the control aspect of a Clown.
Another part of the Clown's ability, which is underlooked is the ability to turn paper into hard sheets. Which tells a bigger meaning to a Clown, and how by now, this sequence already allows one to tamper and change with reality in such a small way, if I were to reference, it would be like a Magician or a Miracle Invoker's attributes to tamper with reality...I will get to that.
It seems paper is very susceptible and malleable to fate, mysticism, and extends it's changes to reality.
Concerning the Clown itself, they should control themselves to control others, showing others what a Clown wants them to see to elicit reactions that a Clown wants to see from them.
Their power concerns something more spiritual in acting and therefore focuses more on the Clown's emotion, discerning what is fake and true, and that of their recipients. It's like this, how can you be happy if you don't know how you're feeling? You may be mad or sad at the moment too.
Plus the paper transformation ability is a huge statement of a Clown's desire to take control of reality, albeit in such a small manner.
If we rete this to Seer, a Clown is how one takes control of oneself after finding their direction as a Seer. Where they set themselves as the change to the strings of fate. A control of the self to influence the glimpse of fate. This is why Klein's interpretation of a Clown's acting is to smile, hiding all the emotions, because he is helpless towards fate, in this case, while he can influence fate, there are things even he is helpless towards, showing both the principles of both a Seer and a Clown.
And the strengthening of the Seer sequence shows near glimpses of the future for the Clown granting acute precognition at times, featuring the mixing of sequences.
We've now seen the second domain, Self Secretism. If I were to word it, it'd be like trying to understand the Joker for who he really is, you'd be fooled like Harley if you're not careful, and the Joker's character truly is complex in various media too.
Society, batman! Ehem, let's save that until I get to the Red Priest and Demoness Pathways...
And an overall theme forms, Control and Orchestration over Self Secretism and Fate Prying, which brings it to the next sequence.
And the principles,
1. Despite having no control over fate, influence it through realizing your own fate by discerning yourself.
2. Influence other's fates by hiding yourself and showing yourself as one that will influence them.
