CHAPTER ONE

Springtrap would look at Tracy and pick her up, "Well, Tray, looks like we're off to solve another one of those idiots' dilemmas."

  Tracy didn't respond.

Springtrap took the silence as agreement and got up, before heading out of the safe room door into the bathrooms of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. It was then something hit him as he stared around the building.

  "Hang on... Where is everybody?"

It was true, Freddy's lay completely barren, save Puppet and Golden Freddy.

"Oh, I should've mentioned. Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy are gone at the moment, apparently going to save Freddy from some VR game or something like that." Puppet explained.

Springtrap raised a brow, and Puppet shrugged.

"I dunno, only going off what the rabbit told me."

Whatever you say... Springtrap thought to himself as he continued glancing around the building. Granted, it did feel kind of good being able to walk around this building freely, with no dirty looks or silent judgement. Even then, he had never seen the pizzeria so empty before... apart from the time he murdered everybody, a time he very often relished.

"Tray, I sense that something is off here..." Springtrap sighed as he entered the security office.

The rabbit looked around as he stared at the several papers aligning the room as well as the dirty tiled floors.

"Jesus, do they never clean this place...?" Springtrap thought to himself, wondering how Freddy and his friends managed to roam around here every night. He knew the safe room was messy (it wasn't like he could clean it up himself), but this was a whole 'nother level.

Springtrap could only continue to stare at the room, trying to find anything he could use for information about this "mystery".

If anything, he was more annoyed that he was practically volunteered to do this by the other two. Surely, Golden Freddy or Puppet would've been more qualified for a case such as this.

Eventually, he noted the office as nothing to hold for clues and walked out, walking past the scattered posters of Bonnie and Chica aligning the walls.

As Springtrap was looking around, Puppet came up to him, "Did you find anything yet?"

  "Not yet."

  "You should probably look harder."

"Fuck you, too." Springtrap grumbled as he shut the supply closet's door.

So far, he seemed unlucky in his search.

Springtrap had begun to wonder if there even was a killer to be found, and if this was just a prank played on him by the other two. Part of him expected that Golden Freddy and Puppet would jump out at any moment and make fun of him for being so gullible. Words couldn't describe how pissed Springtrap would be if this whole thing was just some ruse to get back at him.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

It turned out to be true real quick.

As Springtrap was looking through Pirate's Cove, as the rabbit touched the sign, it suddenly slowly moved... before a giant gaping hole opened under Springtrap, sending the rabbit plummeting.

Golden Freddy and Puppet quickly noticed. "Springtrap!?" Golden Freddy yelled, before going down after him, with Puppet following....

Springtrap landed on the ground with a hard thud, as Golden Freddy and Puppet floated downward.

"Gee, thanks for helping me there, guys." Springtrap grumbled, sarcastically as pain surged through his belly.

"Our pleasure!" Puppet said, seemingly not taking the hint.

Springtrap, while on the ground, couldn't help but roll his eyes. He sometimes wondered how this was what gave the others life.

Slowly, the old rabbit recovered as he stood up, looking around the underground base that they had found.

"Did you know this was here...?" Springtrap asked, genuinely confused. He had never seen this place before, and he would know. He helped build it, after all.

"No, I don't think we've ever seen this place before..." Golden Freddy answered, cautiously.

The trio began to look around through the assortment of things left down here, namely old papers and several pieces of debris.

It was until Puppet looked to the right and saw a lone mirror, "Guys...?" He called out as Golden Freddy and Springtrap turned.

  "What's this weird writing?"

Springtrap walked up and slowly examined it, seeing the scribbles written on the mirror.

"No idea. Oh well, guess our search is over." Springtrap said, nonchalantly, trying to find a way out already.

"Come on, take this a little more seriously, Springtrap." Golden Freddy groaned, ears lowered and clearly unamused.

Springtrap huffed, his tail flicking in frustration, and slowly walked over to the scribbles. He stared, trying to decipher any hidden meaning.

"God, does every single mystery have to be so fucking cryptic?" The rabbit snarled, his muzzle scrunching up. Puppet and Golden Freddy could only watch as the rabbit cursed silently under his breath.

A minute later, Springtrap backed from the mirror with a grunt, "Can't get anything out of this. I'm too old for this nonsense..."

Golden Freddy and Puppet just gave each other an annoyed look. However, upon doing so, Golden Freddy noticed something upon the far end, "What's that?"

Puppet and Springtrap turned toward what Golden Freddy had been pointing to, a wall, with a crack in it.

"That wall... it isn't firm. There might be something behind it. If we could only find something to-"

  SMASH.

Golden Freddy flinched. He turned, only to see Springtrap, an unamused glare on his face, with his arms to his hips, his axe in hand.

  "....Oh, right."

"Let's go." Springtrap growled, before turning and heading off through the broken wall.

Golden Freddy and Puppet faced each other in annoyance, then turned to the path, quickly catching up to the rabbit.

Springtrap was not expecting what was on the other side.

  A flickering wall.

"What on God's green Earth is this??"

Golden Freddy, however, recognized it, immediately.

  "The Flipside..."

  "Excuse me??"

The Puppet walked next to Springtrap, "The Flipside is a realm beyond ours, allowing users to glitch into a different realm, very useful for travelling beyond the bounds of the pizzeria..."

"What could it be doing here?" Golden Freddy asked.

  "I don't know."

Springtrap, however, grunted, "Okay? Well, I've led you to your solution, I guess, so have fun."

With that, he prepared to walk off, find a way out of the bottom of the pizzeria, get back to his saferoom, and probably nap for the rest of the day.

"You aren't leaving that easily." Golden Freddy glared.

"Oh? And why not?" Springtrap glared back, his tail flicking and ears lowering.

"Because we still need your help, even if you and I dislike it."

"And what's stopping me from just walking out of here right no-!?" The rabbit was cut off by a frustrated Golden Freddy, who simply shoved him into the glitching wall as Springtrap yelped.

Quickly, Puppet and Golden Freddy hopped in as well, all three disappearing inside as the wall continued to glitch.
